I've been since 2011 and as I stated I love it. I use it to invoice my Clients and I have also used it as a VA for my Clients.
This software is excellent, especially for its price point. It offers automatic, reoccurring, and tracking within the software. You can also set up backend access for your Clients so that they can access to pay as well as review hours if you are someone who keeps track of your time for tasks. It also has a light built in CRM system that you can input your Clients' details into and you can also message them using this software. You can also track your finances, but personal and business and the software will track and categorize most expenses in your accounts for you making it easier to track your expenses. You can the invoices as well as the software to match your brand as well. It is really a user-friendly, light CRM, invoicing software.
This is one software that I have literally zero complaints and I love how the software improves with each software update.

Using freshbooks for a side company, it seems like it still has some bugs to work out... overall, ok
Free accounting software.
The Price. For small biz or side companies, you can't beat free! I'm not an accountant but it seems like it gets the job done.
Mobile limitations such simple mileage inputs. Somewhat limited functionality but again, its priced right so it works.

This software is very helpful to fill all the necessary information and If I have to choose any software for tool for usage then definitely I will choose this software.
This software helps clients and maintain invoices and reminder for late fees as well as the recurring bill.

I like the ease of use. There so many different things to use it for. Set up and starting are easy and simple. The layout is very uncluttered.

The most obvious difficulty that you faced while using this software is that when we deposit our payments in the bank accounts then sometime our payments cannot easily deposited in the bank accounts without any reason. But otherwise it is the best accounting software in the world. The another thing that I don't like about this software is that sometime it cannot easily track large amount of expenses. But to conclude that FreshBooks can help us in running our business in a easiest and in the fastest way.

FreshBooks is very good software and very easy to use. Main feature of this software is its mobile app. Anybody who has smart phone, can manage his business on his mobile. It provides services like issue of invoices, track accounts receivable. You can generate invoice & track invoice from anywhere, anytime from your mobile. On its top it shows outstanding payment receivable from creditors, which reminds of receivable every time. Businessman can easily operate his business on mobile. Other feature of cloud storage is very good. Data in freshbooks is stored on cloud storage. It helps in keeping data secure and safe and no threat of loss due to damage of hard disk
The only thing which is least is Cost of this software. As compared to other software this software is very costly. Reports Generated through this software contains less Fields in report. It should be more detailed.

Easy to use and very reliable invoicing software. Has just enough featured to work without overwhelming you with features you don't need. This is the go-to software if you need great invoicing software.
Easy to use and easy to navigate admin area. Makes it a breeze for creating invoices. Also supports recurring payments, which many other invoicing software does not offer. Freshbooks also offers a lot of 3rd party integrations to other software you may use, such as accounting and CRM integrations.
While they provide basic bookkeeping software, it is really underwhelming. They currently use single entry accounting methods which do not align with most other accounting software like Quickbooks or Xero.

Great cloud platform accounting software.
The software is easy to use and user friendly. You can use features such as invoicing which sends invoices to clients and even send follow up reminders for unpaid invoices.
The the simplicity itself can be a draw back to more advanced users. Or essentially your business might outgrow this software quickly.

Great software tool for contractors.
Freshbooks has been around for awhile, so it's backed by credibility. The user interface is simple -- nothing too ornate, nothing too basic -- and it is a responsive design. Invoices can be created easily and recurring invoices even more so. Payments can also be tracked easily.
I have no complaints about FreshBooks that I can think of. I should note that I have been using the tool for a good 4 years, maybe more, and I am struggling to come up with something for this section!

Freshbooks is a wonderful accounting software with so many features you need to keep your small business organized.
This software seems to not connect to as many external apps as quickbooks does, or at least I had a lot of trouble connecting them.

The lite version allows one to manage 5 clients... it that could be increased to 10 if feel pricing would be more reasonable

I was able to do a comparison of a couple of accounting software with the trial version of this software
All aspects of accounting have been considered, and being on the cloud, it is easy to access information from virtually anywhere with an active internet connection
One has to have an active internet connection in order to work with this software. When in areas that one doesnt have such, it is impossible to use the software offline.

Freshbooks was a magical software 10 out of 10 definitely recommend it .
With working with Freshbooks software package definitely made my life a lot easier and the experience of the software package was amazing.
What i liked is that the software and the setup was user friendly. It was so easy to add and remove 3rd party apps as it made my experience wonderful to use this software.
To be honest its a flawless app and a fantastic product. I have no problem with it at all and i will definitely use this software package for a long time.

Invoicing and Billing were the reason we started using this software for and it handles them so well. Great piece of software.
The UI. This software is easy to use and that is my best part about it. Creating invoices and forwarding them to clients is as easy as eating pie!
Ever since tickets module was removed from the software, we are currently looking for another software to replace it.

As a freelance bookkeeper, I hate Freshbooks with a passion. My client uses it, and he loves if for invoicing, but it's really not good for anything else, and without even a basic reconciliation feature, it's an absolute nightmare to try and figure out if any of the information is correct on the limited reports it allows. Even a report listing just the entries for reconciliation would be a vast improvement. Also, there is no way to reverse entries other than just deleting them, which is absolutely ridiculous. Overall, I will probably turn down clients rather than work with this software again, unless there are major changes. It needs VAST improvement. It doesn't even integrate with common accounting software.
I honestly can't think of any. It's easy to invoice for computer illiterates?
It's touted as accounting software, but it isn't. It doesn't even work with actual common accounting software, making it functionally worse than useless. Advertising it as accounting software is fraudulent.

The interface of this software is very simple and user friendly. It has a widest application in invoices and billing that helps bookeper and office managers to manage their data and accounting.
This software doesn't support some function like double accounting, account payable etc as compared to other paid software.

We love using FreshBooks so much! The thing I'd love more would be to have a legitimate QuickBooks alternative in FreshBooks. Right now FreshBooks is a great software for invoicing, estimate, charging clients, etc. But we need the full featureset of a real accounting software and I think FreshBooks is just the company to topple (or at least contend with) the bloated and slow-to-move Intuit brand.
Absolutely love the ease of use and constant improvements.
Limited feature set that makes it less of an accounting software and more of just an invoicing software.
