A bit lightweight for larger teams, who may benefit from something a little more traditional from one of the "bigger guys".

It's very intuitive to learn and easy to set up. Reasonable price for solopreneurs or entrepreneurs with small teams.
This is a solid tool for small business so there isn't really anything I don't like about it.

Freshbooks is a great solution for a small freelance teams working on a limited number of projects. It is a well designed and easy to use app.
This has been a great app with low price for simple freelance invoicing. The ability for users to pay online and track payments/invoices and recurring invoices is great. It even facilitates mailing with purchased stamps without having to print yourself.
The lite version is pretty limited on number of clients but the other levels aren't that expensive unless you are just over the number of clients by one or two. The app for awhile was missing a few features that the web version had but now they are both pretty easy to use.

And only can I invoice my clients, I can also become part of other consulting teams and use their already set up projects to log time and invoice for
I can create invoices, track my time, Write detailed notes on tasks, send invoices to my clients and see when they have read them, clients complain directly via credit card
The only thing that I had a problem with what is the interface was a little hard to use but it looks like now they have rolled out a new UI and it looks much better

I am a freelancer, and I and my friends do use this strong software whenever it comes to work on project requiring teamed efforts. So, the bottom line comes that this software is a absolutely a sure-thing to try for small teams and even small businesses.
A one-man-army accounting and invoicing software empowered by cloud technology, which is very easy to use with cross-platform flexibility. The great user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) enables the newbie users to adapt the use-case of this robust software. It features one of the most attractive templates for invoicing and billing needs.
Due to low marketing and platforming, the software has slender users. The software does covers the needs of starting businesses but for advanced level, or enterprises, it lacks the components and features to support the accounting skeleton. The software does serves well and sound, and there also comes the well sounded price for its users, one of the main reason for relatively limited users.

Freshbooks provides an elegant and affordable solution for invoicing and some light accounting. The invoicing feature is probably its best, with a simple user interface. You can brand it for your own company, and it allows even the smallest business to appear sophisticated. We have used Freshbooks effectively with teams for project time tracking and invoicing.
I find the time tracking feature to be helpful most of the time, but I find it a little cumbersome if I want a breakdown of all time logged for a particular project (on what days time was logged and how much time logged on each day). I pulled in expenses from my bank account, and some glitch made it duplicate every entry, so I have not found this feature to be helpful. In fairness, I have not explored the accounting features in detail.

Freshbook is very easy to setup,practically takes just a few minutes. It streamlines our major book-keeping task of sending invoices to our customers and also tracking this invoices, while also sending our clients regular reminders to pay their debt. We also use it as a budget management tool, ensuring our teams do not exceed their allocated monthly budgets.
Freshbook currently has a limited number of Credit card providers it supports. Thus, some of our users are unable to make payments using this software.

Freshbook has enabled us automate our client invoicing process. It has an intuitive user interface which makes it easy to navigate around the interface.We have also used Freshbook over the last two year period for tracking time spent on client projects. It has come in handy as a tool to manage expenses for the various teams in my company ;ensuring no team spends over its monthly allocation.
As effective as Freshbook is ,it does not tick all of the boxes of what is expected from an accounting software ; I will simply regard it as a book-keeping tool.

It helped me a lot with managing teams of freelancer, worked with a few freelancers who billed on a time basis - it's easy for them to track the time + easy for me to see what they worked on and when. They can invoice me easily + I track payments in the same manner as well. It helped me a lot with invoicing clients. It really streamlined that process.
Easy to use. Great for working with contractors who bill on time. Invoicing is easy with a credit card payment integration. Loved the mobile phone app, especially for adding expenses.
For more advanced financing it didn't really work. Didn't like the expenses part, had to use a different software for expenses.

Saves me hours of time in saving and reviewing expenses. Plus automated recurring invoices prompt me to bill recurring clients and get paid more regularly.
iPhone and iPad app is great allowing you to take photos of receipts and instantly enter and save your expense. Support is fast and helpful from actual people with timely responses to email. Easily create projects, time budgets and then generate invoices from time entries. Full colour/logo customization even on free plan. Integrate with lots of other helpful business apps - Basecamp, Google, Xero, etc. Easily add users as sub-contractors and create teams to track times and expenses.
Could be a little less expensive for the low-user plan...but still worth the cost for what it saves me in time.
