Pros

The best I found in this software was the ease of use, it is very friendly to the user, the cost is very good too. Is a very good value for the money.
For a small company as myself the excellent invoice features has been very helpful and useful.
Ease of use, simplicity, and reliability. I love how easy it is to access, upload information, and navigate through the site.

Pros

Andreas my customer support agent literally saved my job. Thank you Andreas you are amazing.
I am using Invoicely for a part-time remote job editing tutorials. It was recommended to me by the company and I was glad to see how easy it is to use.
I think the "boiler plate"/template verbiage that is used for sending the invoices is awesome as well. The Paypal payment integration is flawless as well.

Cons

We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.
It is really frustrating to have a client not be able to pay through the invoice, and for this reason, only, I have been considering a new software company.
Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Cons

The only con I have for this software is when emailing a client their invoice the return address is something very generic and confusing to the client and sometimes ends up in junk folder.
No Russian as web-interface language. No standard VAT and tax rates for the EU.
At every turn, the basic user feels as though they need to upgrade with the lightning bolt looming beside feature tabs. That being said here are the cons.

Convenient and simple!

Pros

Freshbooks is great for small businesses and people doing self-employed/freelance work. It makes it super easy to track time, expenses, and revenue, as well as send invoices and receive payments. There is also a mobile app to track time and input expenses/receipts on the go. In addition, the expense report and profit and loss make tax season a breeze. Overall, Freshbooks makes accounting straightforward and stress-free.

Cons

You can't have any duplicate invoice numbers, which is very frustrating after an invoice has been deleted. If you delete an invoice and then want to reuse that invoice number (so all your invoices are sequential and not skipping a number), you must undelete the original invoice, change the invoice number, delete it again, and then change your new invoice to the original number. It's just a lot of extra steps that could be avoided if duplicates were allowed only for deleted invoices.

Unable to attach PDFs to Invoices and Have the Invoice Pull the PDFs into one file. You have to attach JPEG Files. Plus When you invoice, they don;t pull the attachments to send with the invoice.

Freshbooks has taken the pain out of invoicing my clients

For year's i was using MS Word / Adobe Indesign to create my invoices. It took alot of time and there was no great system/app/cloud software at play - just lots of folders and documents. I found that invoicing was a bottom of my list. Finally i found Freshbooks. From the get go it was super easy to set up. I can now easily manage clients - create invoices - manage payment terms. I particularly like the payment automation using paypal and stripe. Now I'm on top of my invoicing and i can only thank Freshbooks for that.

Great for small independent businesses but so much for those with larger clientele.

Great product for businesses with a client base of 50 or less. When using for a larger client base, some basic features don't exist. For example there is no field for customer account numbers and if a customer misses a payment, it does not get displayed on the next monthly invoices which can leave customers confused on their amount owing. The statements also don't have basic options of such as a "date field". If you need to send a statement to a customer you've had for years, it displays pages and pages going back to when they first started. Anyways, again, great product for smaller businesses but definitely has room for improvements...

Pros

Easy flow for credit card payments, automated monthly invoicing, automated payment reminders.

Cons

Monthly invoice does not display amount owing from previous invoices that have not been paid.

Good software for recomendation

FreshBooks allows us to run all our invoices quite fast and make payment and keep a track of them quite comfortably.

Pros

Software is quite fast and generates reports and moves between pages quite fast, and we are satisfied with the overall functionality.

Cons

1) while running multiple pages invoice list, when we try to move from page 1 to page 2 of the invoice list, FreshBooks takes us to Dashboard, instead of page 2. 2) The status of the invoices in the 'All Invoices/Search Results' can't be entirely relied upon. Eg: one of our invoice (0004295) shows it to be overdue by 3 months. However, it is actually paid when we go to the invoice.

Best CRM for Accounting Books

Overall my experience is best apart from the above problems the rest of the features are awesome and easy to understand for a new user.

Pros

Ease of creating invoices for customers and vendors in one place. Giving credits or making payment is a very easy way in this CRM. I am a daily user of this CRM. I create invoices on a daily basis and send customers from the CRM directly.

Cons

Deleting of invoices is difficult in this CRM. Making credits of the invoices is a bit difficult also.

Good product, but even better customer service.

I use Freshbooks to bill my largest client. 6 months after continually submitting invoices, the client had a unique edit request to all past hours billed. I wanted to get in the fetal position and suck my thumb; however, the customer service rescued me. Saved the day. Pulled off a great, rare customer service experience. They rock. I am happy. Back to work.

When I first started freelancing back in 2009 I really had no clue what I was doing. As a graphic designer I can make things look pretty, but invoices and accounting are not my bag. I love Freshbooks because it makes me look good and it's so easy to use.

Pros

It's great on the customer side of things.... creating invoices and for doing some other tasks such as estimates, petty cash and simple vat return.

Cons

It doesn't do "everything"... but then its not set out to do that. But as a 'bookkeeper' I just need something with the purchase ledger and journal functionality too. BUT for those who don't need that... its great.

Pros

Great software for new and existing businesses

Free up more time to work in the business and spend less time on administrative work - like generating invoices and collecting payments.

Pros

Ability to see when customers view your invoices and forward invoices. I also like the ability to set up recurring invoices. For one-time and recurring invoices, customers can pay online via Stripe or other payment portals.

Cons

Cannot track expenses in multiple currencies. I have clients in the US and Canada. Expenses on one project can often be in two currencies. Since the system can't track multi-currencies, I track expenses in Excel.

Near Perfect Invoicing Tool

Great product, great customer service, easy to use interface at a super fair price point. Been happily using Freshbooks for over 5 years.

Pros

Freshbooks is awesome. Does exactly what it is supposed to, makes invoicing & getting paid easy. Get paid via Stripe, Paypal, ACH, etc. Sends reminders when invoices are due. Super Clean Dashboard which shows invoices paid and invoices outstanding.

Cons

I can't think of anything in Freshbooks I dislike. Really great service for freelancers and small to medium business owners.

There aren't any batch invoicing shortcuts, which would be useful if, for example, you're invoicing multiple customers for the same service at the same rate. Its invoice customization options are more limited than those of many of its competitors.
