Pros

It has a great interface which makes it feel very easy to use and has a great set of templates you can use from the beginning for various accounting needs.
For a small company as myself the excellent invoice features has been very helpful and useful.
FreshBooks combined with other applications is a great tool. In any case, if you want to create invoices and send it in a split second and then track and monitor its progress, I recommend FreshBooks.

Pros

When I have spoken to a tech they have been excellent in understanding my question and providing a solution. At times working outside the box to create the best result with the conditions present.
Overall we are happy with performance and support from LightSpeed. It's reliable and with the small amount of problems we have we are pleased.
We love how easy this was to set up. It does not require buying $20,000 worth of equipment like our first POS system did back in 2008.

Cons

We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.
It is really frustrating to have a client not be able to pay through the invoice, and for this reason, only, I have been considering a new software company.
Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Cons

This POS system is terrible for retail shops doing anything more than a standard sale. It's unintuitive, confusing, easy to make errors and very frustrating.
Limited options for payment processing, having to go with a non integrated payment was frustrating, and we were also limited with payment processing options for our eCommerce site.
It’s extremely frustrating and not user friendly at all. In fact, I think the whole system is deeply flawed and unworkable.

I really like Freshbooks...except that it doesn't handle refunds. Refunds are a necessary part of a small retail business.

Accounting + Easy = I'm not kidding you.

Freshbooks - truly for entrepreneurs on the go. In my freelance work I needed mobile access to accounting software. I sold product to retail clients - sent invoices from my mobile on delivery. When I did my consulting, I used the project and timer features. Holy cow! Freshbooks was extremely malleable to my business. It was able to export reports to my accountant. I was able to access it on my smart phone. The support was robust and friendly. I found it was fairly intuitive to use. If I was still freelancing, I would still be using Freshbooks. If you need a solution to keep you organized - look no further.
