Our experience was Freshbooks was one that we would not care to go through again.
Honestly, there aren’t many great things to note about Freshbooks other than it’s simplicity and ease of use.
Freshbooks did not have many of the features that we were looking for, and the few features that it did have weren’t easily customizable. Freshbooks color scheme was also a turn-off for many of our staff members. It may sound petty, but as an IT Support person, I always look for what my staff wants in terms of the user experience, so color schemes and things of that nature are crucial when choosing software.

This software takes care of everything I need for invoicing, keeping track of income, and also tracking expenses. It really works well for all of these things.
I wish that I could do time tracking within it, but I don't think that exists (as far as I can find).

Ease of use and incredible flexibility.
Being able to take care of all of my business right from my phone app is outstanding. It's simple and easy and enables me so much freedom.
The latest update is a little dodgy, everything seems to be taking forever right now. But, as with all updates, I'm sure the bugs will shake out soon enough.

I've been using Freshbooks for more than 2 years, and I've had no issues! I would (and have) recommended it to others. I've used other accounting software in the past, and this is by far more intuitive and easy to use. It has a slick interface with easy-to-find options. I'm a sole-proprietor, but have a number of different clients - Freshbooks makes it easy to track my ongoing projects.
I love how easy it is to track time, projects, clients, and invoice when I'm done, not to mention the reports available. I also like that there's an app so you can see what's going on while you're on the go.
The way you navigate a few things could be more intuitive - but based on what I've seen, the new version has taken care of most of that.

Unlike other software's where one has to pay extra cash for time tracking ,Fresh books offers time tracking for free.
It is easy to use especially when you are logging in.The software offers great customer care if you need help with the setup they have provided instructions and guidelines.
I was very disappointed for their misleading advertisement of being an accounting web software while its not.They don't offer any accounting solutions .

Instead of each time checking the transfer of my bank details as well the process of the communication with the clients through the other networks, I am now able to do all of the required things for my work to do in one app.
I can easily check my daily productivity as well while working with the clients it is more easy to communicate and to put everything in a proper order and to to check the balance of my accounts. Especially I am working as freelancer and I am dealing with many clients on the academic writings and each time the process of the communication and the payments are making too much complicated situations in which I waste too much time however with Freshbook , I am able to manage all of them under one app.
The customer care service needs to be improved and I would rather prefer to have live chat on the webpage in case of any difficulty to be able to communicate.

Customer Service staff was excellent. Answer issues effectively and they don’t sound like they are reading from a script. They seem to actually care, are kind and smart. Refreshing!
It has enough features to run a business yet not over complicated with too much customization.
I did not like the upgrade at first. I have become used to it but still prefer the older UX
