Pros

It has a great interface which makes it feel very easy to use and has a great set of templates you can use from the beginning for various accounting needs.
For a small company as myself the excellent invoice features has been very helpful and useful.
FreshBooks combined with other applications is a great tool. In any case, if you want to create invoices and send it in a split second and then track and monitor its progress, I recommend FreshBooks.

Pros

Generally awesome, the fact that our boss retains its subscription after more than a year now, it's definitely useful. It's actually the basis of our timekeeping and salary.
What i like most about time doctor is that the good UI in web portal, supports multiple integrations like jira cards/tickets. Automatically jira cards are shown in the timedoctor app.
The wee app that it comes with is useful once you get the hang of it. The good thing is that even if you cancel the wee bar, you still have the tracking running which is great.

Cons

We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.
It is really frustrating to have a client not be able to pay through the invoice, and for this reason, only, I have been considering a new software company.
Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Cons

The software on my employee's end was intrusive and frustrating to use. The software is expensive for what it provides.
So the clocking can be redundant and may annoy your employees.
A couple of gripes - it keeps reminding you if you are back at work if you have paused the tracking - that is a bit annoying.

The pinnacle of invoicing software!

Pros

As an IT support company, we track our billable time as we work tickets, and FreshBooks allows us to record that time in real-time and automatically attaches it to our monthly client invoices with detailed ticket description and amount of time billed.

Cons

I wish we had the ability to provide access to our clients to see their current support amount in real-time throughout the month, that way any disputes or questions on charges could be handled as they appear and not up to a month later.

Great product for easier accounting functions

Freshbooks saved me time with the time tracking and monthly package tracking.

Pros

I loved that FreshBooks would do a monthly billing package and let you know if you went over the set hours so you can send an additional invoice. This is the only software that does this!!!

Cons

The accounting side of the product isn't the greatest. It is not robust, but it has the basics for businesses that don't need robust accounting.

The time tracking module is very useful especially since we can track time by individual employees. .

Cons

The expense tracking/cost code setup seems a little bit lacking. It's the only feature I would like to be better

Saves me a ton of time invoicing.

Pros

I like the time tracking features. Creating projects, adding tasks, and submitting time entries is very streamlined.

Cons

I wish that the tool were a bit cheaper. Also, if they added some more functionality regarding the project management functions, that would be great.

Has the tools I need

Freshbooks keeps me organized with my clients, estimates, projects, time keeping, invoices and profits.

Pros

As Graphic Designer, my time keeping is essential to my business. The ability to track my time and then invoice according to that time spent is very valuable to me and my clients. Also being able to convert my estimates to invoices is a huge time saver!

Cons

I can't convert my estimates to working projects.

can help you support your results: much lower invoice rates than using methods like PayPal. The normal cost of using PayPal as a billing system is about 3% of the transaction, which can certainly be a lot for the self-employed person.

Pros

Less time in accounting and more time doing the work you love, it's simple and intuitive, so you'll spend less time on paperwork and surprise your clients with the professionalism of your invoices.

Cons

it does not allow you to make quarterly tax payment estimates, so you'll have to calculate them by hand or use a different program. In addition, there is the limitation of needing an Internet connection, but that is a minor problem nowadays.

Pros

Best part is the auto recurring billing feature. Customer service is always very helpful and accessible

Cons

You have to upgrade to get more recurring billing accounts so sometimes I have to remove some accounts
