Pros

It has a great interface which makes it feel very easy to use and has a great set of templates you can use from the beginning for various accounting needs.
For a small company as myself the excellent invoice features has been very helpful and useful.
FreshBooks combined with other applications is a great tool. In any case, if you want to create invoices and send it in a split second and then track and monitor its progress, I recommend FreshBooks.

Pros

I love zoho check out, I like how it looks, I like that you can create all the payment pages you want (in the advanced plan).
It is a great way to have to check out pages set up so you can sell products. They are super easy to set up too.
The ease of reoccurring payments and how clean the layouts look. The price is fantastic for the features you get, especially as a small business trying to run my shop myself.

Cons

We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.
It is really frustrating to have a client not be able to pay through the invoice, and for this reason, only, I have been considering a new software company.
Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Cons

There are failures, sometimes the system hangs, but not for long.
I feel that sometimes it shows me many errors that are not related to transactions. The price of unlimited pages is a bit high.

to be honest Invoice Ninja is much better for auto invoicing and much easier to integrate with 2checkout

Pros

The graphic interface of this software id great , really great but all other funckions can not compare with cometition

Cons

There is no easy integration with some "checkout" softwares like 2chekout

The simplicity of use. I was up and running collecting money writhing 3 minutes of opening an account- and it was free to start!

Cons

Zoho offered a free account up to certain users, freshbook doesn't.

Freshbooks is simple, clean, and mature software that would work well nearly any small agency.

Pros

Freshbooks is ideal for a small service-based startup or agency. It handles the client cycle from estimates, project time tracking, invoicing, payments, and satisfaction. It lacks a CRM but that's a matter of sticking to their strengths. Instead it integrates with several CRMs. It's easy enough you can have someone running it with almost no training.

Cons

A main consideration in choosing Freshbooks is how closely you want CRM to be integrated with invoicing. Other in-class software like Zoho CRM+ Zoho Invoice is tight, but requires more setup.

Useful billing automation service

Pros

I use the FreshBooks tool to automate the billing process for customers. The service allows you to quickly send and manage invoices. Full integration with Google Checkout and PayPal major payment systems is available.

Cons

The first disadvantage of the FreshBooks platform is the inability to reconcile reporting with tax. The second drawback is that there is no function to automatically fill in the details by personal identification number.

It was good. I used it for a year or two but I didn't feel it worth spending money on it.

Pros

It had a nice time tracking system that was configurable enough to suite my odd needs.

Cons

It had a pricing scheme that changed for things that other products line Zoho or Clockify did for free.

Overall FreshBooks is a great system to financial manage your business provides easy invoicing and accounting.Also customer support on awesome.

Pros

FreshBooks is simple and on point accounting solution with excellent features like automated monthly invoices, payments remainders,provides integration with most of the credit card processors, PayPal and google checkout etc to facilitate online payments with auto pay feature. Customer support is amazing also ca be accessible from mobile.

Cons

There are few downsides like monthly invoice is missing pending amount from previous month and it done not provides tax calculation and limited clients with free version.

Used to Use It, But Useless After Dropping PayPal Support

Freshbooks is a good, rich featured invoicing system that was, at one time, great for a solo freelancer like myself. However, after they dropped PayPal support it became impossible for me to use it any longer.

Pros

I did like the interface and it was relatively easy to use. The reporting was also reasonably good (although no better than Zoho Invoice, the solution I moved to.)

Cons

As a freelancer, I used Freshbooks for several years. However, after they dropped PayPal support it became useless to me. As someone who works internationally 99% of my clients prefer to pay via PayPal so I had no choice but switch.

Ideas to utilize on other software that's more powerful and cost effective such as zoho invoice. Freshbooks should have a better and freemium model and capture more users

Great looking invoices and templates, flexible and industry proven in consulting and technology industry

Cons

Limited integrations, control of automated billing reminders limited, price not as competitive for what you get. Zoho invoice integrates better and is free for automated reminders and invoices so unnecessary to even pay for freshbooks

Very simple to use, great choice for simple businesses

Although I know a few larger businesses that still use Freshbooks, for the most part it's really great for startups and freelancers'very intuitive, great interfact, AMAZING customer service. Also I love the native receipt and expense tracking. But ultimately I switched from it because I live in Canada and although it's a Canadian company the pricing is in USA, and to have even a single other person work with the account pushes you into a costly monthly fee in USD. Also it was lacking some features I needed once my business got more complex. Eventually I switched to Zoho Books and haven't looked back!

Pros

- Ease of use - Support - Beautiful interface - Easy expense tracking

Cons

- Limited functionality - Expensive - Poor support for multiple users at a low level

The most important thing with this software is time saving.I love everything about FreshBooks. It is an excellent app for freelancers and small companies. I have been using it for the past few years and rate it the best software in the market. Whenever I had issues, the support team helped me to resolve them quickly with effective solutions. Many reason to love Freshbooks software- COST EFFICENCY, EASE OF USE, CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

Most of things are too good but some drawbacks like not store credit card infomation. Customer interface is excellent and ability to not store credit card information locally is key to PCI compliance. We love the recurring profile concept for recurring billing and find the web portal very intuitive. We also appreciate the branding we can do for our clients so they feel this billing platform is an extension of our service and that they are in the right place. This also gives our customers the peace of mind of knowing their transactions and billing information is secure.
