What I like the most about this program is that it's pretty self-explanatory to use. I am able to invoice with ease.
The interface of this software looks like it's from the 90's. Not very tech looking or easy on the eyes for that matter.

I've been using the Intacct system for over a year to enter timesheets and expense reports and run financial reports. I've also obtained some familiarity with the invoicing capabilities. Overall, I find it easy to use, and am thrilled with its flexibility in creating program and project codes and customizing reports. I do like how this is a cloud solution, however, there are some very basic functions that it is missing -things that you can do in Quickbooks. The price for what you get isn't bad, but I would not make the choice to move to this platform if it was my decision.
Cloud computing - accessible anywhere. Reports easily exportable to excel
Cannot email out invoices - major deal breaker (well you can email them but you can't change the generic text, which makes it unusable). There are many screens that force you to use your mouse to enter items, you can't tab.

Intacct is a full featured accounting package having modules for revenue recognition, fixed assets, Salesforce Integration, authorize.net integration, expensify integration, payment approvals and processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and much more. The report writer is robust. Perhaps the best feature is that it has dimensions that allow you to put information on so many different levels, which gives you comprehensive visibility into the finances of your organization. The dashboards are amazing as well. I would put this in the category for a mature business. Overall, I think its over priced and not as flexible as other software.

This is great system with a lot of bells and whistles....able to really meet our needs as a SaaS company! We have been extremely happy with our transition off of Quickbooks.
Cloud Based (no maintenance)....Recurring transaction and customized reporting capabilities are a plus.
Wish some of the interfaces where more customizable, but overall not a lot of cons.

My organization switched from a legacy accounting system to Intacct back in July. I have to say that the migration was more than painful- but all that pain was worth it! The system is awesome! The help feature alone in the system was worth the migration- it was impossible to figure things out on your own in our legacy system- required us to go to consultants when we had issues in processing. Intacct makes it very easy to troubleshoot and figure a lot of your processing issues out on your own. The Dashboards in the system are awesome as well! I am certain that there are more great things to come with this system given we have only been using it 6 months and have not fully explored the potential of the system.
Help feature, cloud-based (so no install on individual computers), the system is intuitive, dashboards!
The flow of certain information and how the reports are generated in different modules is not what I expected (based on how our legacy system worked). Customization of reports is not as easy as originally anticipated.

For a basic cloud-based accounting package, it worked well. Reports were easy to find.
It could be some settings on our end, but we had multiple entities consolidating into one, and sometimes financial statement reports (balance sheet, P&L) didn't quite run as expected.

I have done the inventory, invoices work with this and close the time as much as 79%faster than the other one. Its generated from ERP system. So you can increase business visibility and drive growth.
Ease of use, That's Scalability and reduced IT cost. Less manual labor.
Sage intacct is an excellent resource for the most important part of the business and your company data which is leading provider of best in class cloud computing.

The cloud-system with push updates are fantastic. Intacct is constantly working on new features to automate and enhance the experience.
There are some limitations built within the purchasing module that are a little difficult to work around like note and tax and shipping on an invoice matched to PO is coded to the balance sheet and not the P&L.

This is a good platform if you have appropriate training as it does not provide flexibility for mistakes. It is not a 'user-friendly' or intuitive platform
Cloud platform makes it very accessible. Works just fine from just about anywhere in the world. Provides audit trail. Allows excel export.
Too rigid and very little flexibility to make adjustments in every field. Prepaid module and FA module are very clunky. Customer support is nice and understanding but cant always solve your issues on time and are usually eager to close a case and move on. Not really a user-friendly platform.

This cloud-based software is a big upgrade from my previous software which was Microsoft Dynamics GP. GP was extremely dated and was limited in functionality.
One pain is not being able to get back to the top level once you go to a subsidiary and close the top level, you have to log back in.

Overall, we have had a good experience. However, we have an implementation team that is working with us to make sure that our input from QB is seamless.
I love this cloud-based system where approving and reporting features are accessed from any mobile device. We are just implementing this system - replacing quickbooks - and it is streamlining our business.
This is a true accounting system that truly automates financial procedures. However, it might confuse the non-accounting folks in your office. Some processes can be more cumbersome than an automated QB system (for example: credit card and ACH processing).

It's easy to use and train users. It's also a much easier implementation than some of the other financial software giants. I like the fact that it's cloud based as well.
I wish it was a bit more feature rich in some areas, but it seems that is a problem with all ERP's. They seem to let their partners handle specific problems.

We switched from Quickbooks and this software just blew it away. Intacct is cloud based and is much more efficient and effective for business use and produces good reports and integrations to 3rd party software.
There are odd restrictions with the software. It won't let you use bank accounts as GL accounts which may be for a good reason but works in our business.

Sage Intacct is complete accounting software, it is cloud-based therefore one can access and work from any where. It automates all accounting tasks including management of account receivable, account payable, inventory, expenses for small and medium size companies. It is more demanding software because of financial statement and financial analysis features.
Sage Intacct is complete cloud-based accounting system, mobile app is also available. It is best for financial reporting and financial analysis. It also enables multi currency consolidation accounting. Account receivable, account payable, expense tracking, and inventory are well managed here.
Sage Intacct is not easy software for those who have insufficient knowledge of accounting. It may be intuitive and easy to navigate. Sometimes it gets glitch or error. I wish if it could be proper B2B software integrated with banks for making payments.

Extremely pricey with a lot of promises made from their sales people but not a lot more function than Wave, Quickbooks Online or Xero.
What originally attracted us to this platform was the ability to do cloud accounting so everything was not centralized to one desktop application. We also liked how this platform could invoice AND process payments as that makes bank reconciliations a lot cleaner.
There was not a lot of instruction given around how to do certain tasks and we were not able to fully utilize this platform to the ability the salesperson pitched. This was mainly just used for financial report, AP and AR but we were told it had cash management and forecasting capabilities which we were never trained to use.

Sage Intacct uses the cloud to maintain all your bank accounts on one screen, allowing you to conveniently plan and schedule payments and make settlements. Sage Intacct's user interface is easy to navigate, and with all the options in one place, it's easy to see what's available and get things done quickly. I like that it automatically downloads, scans, and enters invoice data, avoiding human data...
It doesn't effect service quality. Sage Intacct is secure and easy to use, however it requires greater automation to eliminate manual entries.

1- easy to use interface for users and administrators. 2- truly cloud, updates and new features seamlessly take no effort. 3- security wise very capable of securing transactions entry and data. 4- integration tool with other systems is easy. 5- availability in more lighter versions
1- lack of experienced partner in the market for implementation. 2- localization as it's not suitable for all regions to use all the function so you may need to integrate with other systems specially for HCM 3- reporting and customization tools needs improvement.

I like it overall, but has lots of room for improvement
Having everything on the cloud is great, and it has a bunch of great features that can really streamline your accounting process. Very nice to be able to easily access everything from one system and the ability to save report criteria is great for monthly tasks.
It can be buggy and slow, and customer support is lacking. Has trouble with multicurrency transactions and does not revalue accounts each month are current FX Rates

My overall experience with Intacct is overall positive. Intacct does save me significant time and effort in my everyday tasks compared with our older software. i do feel it could be improved upon further to make it a better product.
I like the fact that it is browser based through the cloud which makes access quick and easy. The modules that I use the most work very well such as Accounts Payable and Time and Expense. The General Ledger reporting function is very helpful and easy to use as well.
There are a few modules such as Prepaids, Fixed assets and Purchasing that we had purchased after the initial implementation of intacct that did not work very well initially. There were many work arounds and technical problems that created alot of unneeded headaches and work. Fortunately this has been fixed now for the most part and works well. Another issue I have is the support community that I put support tickets in when I need some help. They don't seem to know the product very well and often the solutions and advice I receive is partially right or wrong altogether. There have been instances where I have just figured it the problem myself through reading articles or experimenting with settings etc.

Overall we love the software. It's helped us advance our accounting operations in many different areas and move away from a majority of our paper processing. The product help and customer service has been good. However, we had a difficult renewal negotiation, and after we did sign the renewal, we did not hear from our account rep for almost a year until I reached out multiple times to be reassigned. The difficult renewal and lack of account rep support has soured me on the relationship some, but I like the product itself.
I like having multiple dimensions to tag transactions with. This has helped us budget and forecast at a very detailed level, which has helped us understand what our variances are and get rid of extraneous expenses. We also love that it is a cloud system, which helps us be mobile and flexible with when we use it.
We were not impressed with the prepaid module as it did not work well with our processes. We decided to discontinue using it and go back to tracking in Excel.The reporting is definitely a step up from Excel, but it can be inflexible sometimes and not the best for complex reporting.
