Pros

Overall, it has been a great experience. Support is excellent, and the company works to constantly improve the product and keep the features competitive with what's available in the market.
Have been on it since the start of the company and has worked great. Customer support is always there when we have a question and it serves our needs great.
The customizing of reports is great. The simplicity is nice and it's easy to navigate around and for the most part pretty easy to train on.

Pros

Overall we have had good success with YayPay and really love our account support Aleks. She always makes sure to follow up on everything and stay on top of any active projects we have.
Our Rep has been fantastic (thank you,[SENSITIVE CONTENT]!) she communicates with us regularly, is quick to handle solutions to our issues and questions and makes the experience more personal.
The software is very user friendly and has a great potential to be a very robust system that can stand out amongst a sea of dunning apps.

Cons

Also for example, you can set invoices to "warn" you if duplicate invoice numbers when manually entering, but if you are using the import feature, it will just crash.
Sage intacct was the worst experience I have had with any accounting system implementation. I basically did all of the integration and system set up and paid them to do it.
We get a lot of errors within Intacct and Salesforce integration, I am not sure if our setup is just complex but we always seem to be fixing something.

Cons

Recurring problems with invoice PDF's not being sent to customers, issues with customer contacts not updating between YayPay and Intacct, not being able to easily audit the system, etc.
No much to complain about. There is definitely an on-boarding process that takes some time to get going, but once you get everything setup it becomes a big time saver.

The Help pages. The step-by-step instructions come in handy when stuck on how to do a certain task. They are easy to follow!

Cons

No "Back" or "Next" button while in certain modules, like Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as well as in Other receipts.

Overall a great accounting software for organizations!

Overall, Sage Intacct makes collaborative accounting easier and I would recommend to staffs with multiple budgets to manage.

Pros

Intacct allows collaborative accounting solutions for larger staffs with easy expense reimbursements, balancing accounts and managing budgets. Digitally tracking and storing receipts makes day to day budgets for accounts payable and receivable more collaborative.

Cons

The software is a bit dated in its interface and has a decent learning curve.

It's my favorite accounting and financial management software

When put to its intended use, Sage Intacct excels. We've been able to streamline the recording of transactions involving many departments or money, which has improved our reporting capabilities and saved us time. Sage Intacct is the accounting software we use to manage the intricacies of running our business.

Pros

Sage Intacct allows us to import the statement, conduct an in-depth analysis, keep tabs on past payments, and make adjustments to upcoming payments. The entire accounting process, from purchasing through the general ledger to accounts payable and receivable, is handled by Sage Intacct.

Cons

Using it is a bit of a struggle. It takes months to work efficiently, in my experience. Starting something you've never done before is always difficult. While robust, customizing the reports and dashboard features is a slog.

Pros

Provides robust and accurate reporting with real-time data on financial processes, enabling effective tracking of accounting and finance operations. Provides agile functions for the development of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order management and others. Invoicing management is simple and efficient.

Cons

Its user interface should be more intuitive and easy to navigate. There is also a lack of documentation to develop a quick and efficient configuration.

From Quickbooks to Intacct

We are a global company with 5 different sub-companies and we needed a better solution than Quickbooks for consolidations and multiple currencies. We went through a review process of several vendors and thought Intacct was the right solution. After a very painful 2-year implementation, we are up and running. There are many pluses to the system but we also lost basic functionality that we had in Quickbooks which created more work instead of staying streamlined. We have been live for 6 months.

Pros

The reporting is usable once the configurations and parameters are set up properly.

Cons

Requires quite a bit of work to get off the ground. Customization of templates requires duplication if using order entry and accounts receivable (i.e. a different template with different codes for an invoice).

Our entire accounting process is managed using Sage Intacct

To help our customers, we use Sage Intacct. Besides partnering with Intacct, we also work with Var. As a result, we serve a wide range of businesses. I utilize it on a regular basis, help other employees, and provide customer training and support. My shoppers, families, and patients come from the retail, family office, and medical fields respectively.

Pros

Sage Intacct is used for all of our daily activities, from accounts payable through accounts receivable, as well as month-end close and reporting. Our month-close has been delayed in the past due to technical difficulties and problems with AP synchronisation. Their support team's sluggish reaction time is also a problem.

Cons

The product's usability would improve greatly if the Fixed Assets and Prepaids sections were modernized. The Charge Payoff screen, like the bank and credit card reconciliation screens, needs a "match transactions" capability.

Pros

For smaller companies such as ours, Sage Intacct does most of the accounting functions. Some features we use include inventory management, cost accounting, reporting, time tracking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, payroll, and budgeting. We use it to track our prepaid amortization & fixed asset depreciation, and it also allows us to manage our invoices.

Cons

Integration is a bit difficult since sometimes you can't share data.

Intacct is a full featured accounting package having modules for revenue recognition, fixed assets, Salesforce Integration, authorize.net integration, expensify integration, payment approvals and processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and much more. The report writer is robust. Perhaps the best feature is that it has dimensions that allow you to put information on so many different levels, which gives you comprehensive visibility into the finances of your organization. The dashboards are amazing as well. I would put this in the category for a mature business. Overall, I think its over priced and not as flexible as other software.

Pros

Cons

Not able to create on demand recurring vouchers, only able to create date-driven recurring vouchers.

Sage Intacct is complete accounting software, it is cloud-based therefore one can access and work from any where. It automates all accounting tasks including management of account receivable, account payable, inventory, expenses for small and medium size companies. It is more demanding software because of financial statement and financial analysis features.

Pros

Sage Intacct is complete cloud-based accounting system, mobile app is also available. It is best for financial reporting and financial analysis. It also enables multi currency consolidation accounting. Account receivable, account payable, expense tracking, and inventory are well managed here.

Cons

Sage Intacct is not easy software for those who have insufficient knowledge of accounting. It may be intuitive and easy to navigate. Sometimes it gets glitch or error. I wish if it could be proper B2B software integrated with banks for making payments.

This service helps my everyday work process by entering invoices and cutting checks along with all of my accounts payable work. It does have a few glitches but the company does everything to fix them to better their customers.

Sage Intacct may not operate automatically to pay dues that you have planned at a given date, requiring you to re-work in traditional ways, which I find difficult at times. It has now become very easy to keep track of all the transactions and financial data of the company and its affiliated projects, as we were able to pay and receive invoices and record them in the records in a simple and secure manner.

Pros

Budgeting and financial reporting are two of the best features of Sage Intacct. With this technology, the organization will be able to use it to the fullest degree in managing its financial concerns. In addition to the numerous internal controls, the platform's connection to the cloud makes it a strong database that organizes all financial and accounting records and reports, giving auditors confidence in the reports we publish. Sage Intacct's analytics, which provide account status and comparison reports between accounts receivable and payable, are also something I appreciate. It's also convenient because it's integrated with so many other programs, making it simple to import and export data.

Cons

I find it somewhat slow, especially when dealing with a large number of invoices, and the search identifiers must be updated so that the searches are simpler than they are now and give the required results.

Pros

We switched from Quickbooks and this software just blew it away. Intacct is cloud based and is much more efficient and effective for business use and produces good reports and integrations to 3rd party software.

Cons

There are odd restrictions with the software. It won't let you use bank accounts as GL accounts which may be for a good reason but works in our business.

Overall, Sage Intacct is a great product which can potentially save your organization a lot of time, allowing you to focus more on analyzing the data and making better decisions. This is because it automates and simplifies several reporting and accounting tasks for you. It is also very easy to train people to use, and user friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Pros

It's so easy to use. It is logical, user-friendly, and it does practically everything. It is definitely one of the top 3 operations/accounting/finance data management tools I have ever experienced (and I have experienced several in my career). The reports are set up for you, right out of the box, with little change needed. The reports are dynamic as well, allowing the user to decide what level of data to retrieve. Ad hoc reporting is also intuitive and easy with the interactive report builder.

Cons

Although it comes out of the box with good structure, sometimes structures can be very challenging to set up (data-flow from/to accounts, roll ups to parent accounts, etc.). But, every database/reporting software has its little caveats.

We are definitely saving time with Intacct. It is so much smoother and quicker to use. The internet based software is so easy to use compared to a program.

Pros

I like how users cannot force things to work like in QuickBooks. If the rec doesn't balance, they have to figure it out. Also, there's more reporting dimensions and a rigid chart of accounts so the users cannot create their own accounts.

Cons

The reporting needs a lot of work. There are so many dimensions that exist in this software that you cannot run a report on. There also seems to be a fair amount of glitches and errors.

I have only been using Intacct since July and I love how easy it is to edit a mistake . The feature allowing to go back into an entry and fix any mistakes after you post an entry is awesome. I don't have to waste time and make additional entries. It's simple and easy to use.

Great product and UI with some existing back-end issues.

Pros

Auto-dunning/chasing and custom email templates have greatly increased our team's efficiency. Being able to customize what customers are seeing and also ensure they are receiving invoices is a huge win for us.

Cons

Recurring problems with invoice PDF's not being sent to customers, issues with customer contacts not updating between YayPay and Intacct, not being able to easily audit the system, etc.
