Feature rich and very very lightweight, always runs quick. Support is outstanding and all feature requests are considered fairly and if approved implimented very quickly!

Absolutely nothing. After many many hours of use, and many many invoices put through this software, I can quite categorically say I have found not one bad feature of this software. Sure, there has been a few bugs, but thats like any software. Whenever I have found and reported bugs they have always been fixed within days, if not even hours and they are never critical enough to stop me working.

It just works. No problems. It was easy to set up. I had one question and support replied immediately. It's so easy to use at the level I need now that I'm tempted to see what it can do at the paid level.

This software does what it's meant to; invoicing and billing clients and providing a clean and easy way to manage it all. The software provides a portal for clients to view past invoices and pay existing invoices while seeing your branding (White Label registration required).

So far, there have been minimal annoyances that I have encountered. I believe invoicing templates could be amped up a bit, and the White Labeling feature doesn't quick get everything, so a bit of custom work is needed. Also, installation is generally speaking simple but some people may still have an issue if trying to install without an auto-installer like Softaculous.

This is overall a really great option for most businesses. I love that it is open sourced and even the monthly fees for the paid tiers are extremely reasonable. The software was really easy to learn and implement. The free version allows you to add your logo and even included features like recurring invoices and read receipts when a client views or pays your invoice which I didn't see in most basic tiers of paid invoicing options out there.

We ultimately decided to go with another software (Wave Accounting) because we needed a more robust system and wanted an accounting software to accompany the invoicing system. For basic needs, Invoice Ninja is really great and I would consider using it again. I do wish paid versions were fully white label however. The paid versions still have "Invoice Ninja" on the custom urls and emails.

Clear, modern look to the produced invoice.

The search box is called 'Filter'. It says a lot when my biggest con is a word!

Platform-independent. Works on my Mac, PC, Tablet and Smartphone. Very helpful customer support. Excellent Software-quality.

Slightly confusing how invoicing of time-tracking tasks combined with fixed invoice positions works. But i am sure this will be figured out in a future release.

It is extremely easy to use, and, as a small business, the free edition has everything I need to invoice my customers

The translation to Portuguese is sometimes confusing, but that is not a serious problem.

Usually FOSS is clunky and has bad UI/UX. Invoice Ninja is easy to use, is packed full of features and has everything to run your small business finances.

Overall this product is great and does what I need. The only real con is really a feature request and that is for double entry accounting and Charter of accounts to make this a full accounting package, which is almost not what it was designed for. inventory tracking would be great but I think there could be a module for this already that I have just not installed.

The invoicing is simple and easy online and mobile Time tracking is easy and I can charge different clients with different hourly rates

Can't really use it for accounting since expenses are not (fully) implemented

Haven’t been able to do last weeks invoicing as my account will not let me off the settings page. I have emailed the contact email twice but no reply

Easy to use, and comes with an API, love it! The recurring invoices & auto bill invoices are a life saver for me. Saves me a ton of time.

It is technically possible to write your own plugins for this software, but its very limited and hard to create a plugin. It's not easily extendable like WordPress for example.

It was very easy to implement on the back-end of our WordPress sites. It keeps our e-commerce running smoothly so we do not have to manually go in everyday and sent invoices for purchases.

There really isn't anything I dislike. It had a ton of options for payment integration which gives us and clients options.

The best thing about invoice ninja is that it is a quick and easy to use invoicing tool for small business owners. It has invoice templates that are easy on the eyes and appealing to both business owners and clients. It gives access to numerous payment options.

What I believe this software is missing out on is the ability to provide inventory and detailed reports.

I love the live .PDF invoice creation. Overall it's just easy to use, and has all the tools that I need to invoice my clients.

Not sure on this. The only nit-picky thing I can think of, being a graphic designer, I would change a couple of the icons.

Easy to use syncs with many CRM's Client Portal

Does not have an option where I can charge customers CC from merchants end.

I love that the free version has plenty of options but there's room to grow/upgrade when my business gets bigger. You can integrate payment systems or just invoice someone. I love that you can track time and invoice, plus add expenses.

InvoiceNinja is feature packed with more features and customization then you'll ever need.

So cheap it feels like I'm stealing. The cost is more than worth it!
