Yo can get confused, since there are different ways to get to the same path or screen.

This is amazing, my team uses it for building orders, cutting checks, creating UPS labels, invoicing orders and keeping everything in order.

It does take a while to learn all of its features. If you bring in a new employee expect them to be confused for 2 months or so.

JD Edwards is a fairly accurate software.

My overall experience with JD Edwards can be described as a learning ride. JDE is not too user friendly or intuitive, but once you learn how to use it and all the codes necessary for the actions required for your AP Process, then you can start to take full advantage of all its possibilities. In my team we have been very benefited by the use of this tool and are currently using it on a daily basis. I would totally recommend it.

JDE will make your AP process smoother than ever

In our business we use JD Edwards for finance, distribution, procurement manufacturing and sales. As previously mentioned I believe this system is build quite properly but not in detail, so it is strong but might need to be checked into full detail. Reporting, planning and analytics is its strength from my point of view . We only just swapped this software and moved on from SAGE and it looks like it is actually working much better then SAGE, so I believe this was an upgrade.

Having used many ERP systems since, things can sure be simplified from the JDE way.
However the configurable nature of the software in my experience remains unmatched. Have fond memories of the powerful tool that is JDE.

Overall experience has been positive. Being a long-time (5+ years) user, I am very comfortable using the platform and learn new features often.

Leaves Some to be Desired

It was ok for what we needed it. It did inventory, quoting, and ordering. It took too long to do each step and teaching people to understand it was a long endeavor. However, I am not 100% sure that this was JD Edwards fault or the way our system operators set it up. I also am fairly certain, it wasn't meant to do what we had programmed it to do, so the fact it was able to do it at all was an impressive feat.

Not intuitive and too many steps

Very Easy to Master!

It's a must have when you need to orchestrate many systems and platforms like e-commerce, MRP, and other softwares which impact on inventory and invoicing.Definitely a must have.

One of the main ERP for mid-size companies

I used to work with others ERP and can say JDE is not the best even though is one of the most common. 

Not the best ERP

Integrated reporting including OneVIew.  Consistent, rich user interface that is highly configurable. Rock-solid business functions.  Complete set of integrated modules for most business functions.  

Oracle's JDE E1 is the premier financial accounting/ERP/HR solution but comes at a steep cost.

Overall i love the software. As i have been using it for several years i would not like to switch to any other application. It is a great CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Right Application for Maintenance Organization 

Definitely, JD Edwards is a good software for companies that need integrate Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistic and Finances. This ERP help us to create BOM data for our manufacturing process, also there are applications of 3rd parties that help to read bar codes and interact with purchasing module to receive materials. Also the orders status helps to track our shipments in the warehouse management module.

Oracle has done a great job on JDEdwards and large companies use it and it's no coincidence. I recommend it for its security and stability.

Ganapathy:                                             Hello. My name is Ganapathy. I work as an operational excellence and quality assurance manager in the paper and forest products industry, and I give Oracle a rating of five.
                                                       I use Oracle on a daily basis to solve production related issues, particularly customer complaints, and also to look up on time completion of pack products on our way to the customer.
                                                       There are two features in Oracle that I liked the most. The first one are called the favorites feature, where if one runs multiple reports on any given day, one doesn't need to start from scratch in the menus, one can run them from one's favorite menu. And the other feature that I love most about Oracle is how user-friendly it is. It takes very little training from the outside to learn how to use it, as long as you have access to the features. You can play around with it and pretty much learn most of it by yourself.
                                                       The feature that I like least about Oracle is some menu options do look a little old world as compared to more modern apps that we're used to. But one tends to look past the look and focus more on the functionality. But if it did look a little more modern, I think it would be more widely accepted among younger users.
