LOS for brokers

Easy to implement. Service has been responsive and knowledgeable about the product.

Pros

Reasonable price, flexible pricing per seat, no long term commitments, no set-up fee, plug-n-play, web-based, easy to onboard new hires. Document management.

Cons

No mobile capabilities, mobile app is useless, no functionality. POS needs a lot of improvement.

If you need customer service-look elsewhere

The customer service is absolutely horrible. I signed up for what I was told had a 30 day money back guarantee-they charge a crazy set up fee(which is not needed because they don't really customize anything) but then would not honor their policy. I then was told by someone in service, after taking 3 days to hear back, that the conversation I had with someone else never happened. They occupy a very small space in this market, it's clear to see why

I liked the concept of it being web based

Cons

Some of the features are cumbersome, not easy to use if you have used other softwares like this

Amazing but not perferct

Great and easy to use.

Pros

easy to use. Viewing is all in one shot. Navigation is user friendly.

Cons

LOS needs more features. Like being able to upload specific documents to a specific condition. Like bank statements to be uploaded into bank statements section or at the very least after. To be more mobile friendly

BROKERS BEWARE - Not Needed

I had a terrible experience with LendingPad I was told that disclosures would be automated by the sales rep and when I signed up I saw that they were not. In less then 10 days I asked for a refund because at that point I do not need the service, being a broker all the lenders let you use their software to do everything LendingPad does anyways. It completely pointless to re-enter the software twice, in the training they literally recommended to use another company for the POS.

Pros

I honestly do not have any, I tried to get a refund but they do not stand behind their product and service.

Cons

They do not back there service up and force you to sign up for a year

Somewhat confusing system, poor support

Onboarding call was good, but the system is quite complex and not very intuitive. Ongoing support is TERRIBLE. Support is provided through chat. Staff seems not to know their own system and has bad attitude. I even had one staff member intentionally terminate my chat while trying to get a setup question answered. (He seemingly could not answer my question, so he cut me off when I told him he had answered my question.) I thought this system had a lot of promise, but I'll probably be looking for something else again.

Pros

- Cloud based - Seems to be very complete - Good integrations

Cons

- Very poor support - Knowledge base very light and weak - Confusing and complex setup

Sorry for your poor experience with our support while on your free trial. After reviewing the support log, the setup issue is with an invalid third-party login credential you entered in LendingPad. Pls call the third-party provider to obtain the correct credentials first then call your AE who can help further to complete the setup. Thank you.

One place to handle leads and loans, from start to finish.

Pros

From application, communication (emails and calling), document management, credit reports, forms/disclosures, and quick responses for questions, Lending Pad offers it all. No need to jump from different platforms to perform duties during a loan process. I was able to cancel other subscriptions for storage and electronic signing.

Cons

When I do come across difficulties or navigating the portal, I just use the chat and get answers. I know some features are expected to be available in the future but I currently do not have any issues using Lending Pad.

Good company

Overall a good experience.

Pros

Like the support when in a loan the most, usually a quick response in the chat box. Visually a much easier look then the old system.

Cons

Not being able to have a directory to call when help is needed for our Admin - have to go thru same support email that the LO's do - wish there was a "bat phone" just for management. Also, originally was sold on the 3rd party company that would copy pipelines from old system to Lending Pad - that did NOT go well, company went dark with us then tripled pricing.

I found my LOS

I was looking for an alternative to Encompass or Point. It looks like I found it. Easy 1003 to complete or import. added my credit and DO credentials and I was off to the races.

Pros

The simplicity and user friendliness, the system has an easy to understand rhythm.

Cons

Too soon to criticize, everything looks promising at this point

Web Based Mortgage Origination

Customer service has been excellent, and response time through their help desk is under an hour. Typically our responses for trouble tickets is within 15 minutes,

Pros

Love the software - It's best strength is the ability to access it via a secured web portal. This takes loan origination to a new level as we can access the software from anywhere. The LOS user interface makes it simple to create and setup loans.

Cons

Not necessary but nice - more customization on screen layout and color options for the dashboard layouts. It makes it easier on the eyes when you stare at the screen for 8+ hours per day.

Only as good as your Support

Top notch, professional, and clean.

Pros

Functionality and ease of use are top notch but what makes LendingPad stand out the most once you use the product is the Support that you receive. Second to non on the Support staff and response time, can't say how important and critical that is when answers or help are needed.

Cons

Haven't found one yet, all issues ended up just needing clarity by the support team.

Overall it's been good. I do like the chat because I almost alway get [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and he can answer just about anything with a great attitude.

Pros

I really have only used this software for mortgage processing so I don't have anything to really compare it too. I do like the way it is laid out and the colors make it more interesting to use.

Cons

It is slow to load and I do not like the new search feature that much.

It's a great service but the ability to switch from page to page is tooooo slow.

Pros

I would like for the transitions of one page to the next to not take so long....ever since the update is so much slower.

Cons

What I like least about the product is the amount of time it takes to go from one page to another....it is too slow.

I enjoy the integration and the ability of the software to grow with my business.

Cons

We have multiple "seats" for the software, however when we have multiple personnel in the software at the same time it will kick us out and not save where we were.

It’s better than Calyx in some ways and worse in others ways

Pros

Easy to use and web based so I can work while traveling.

Cons

I don’t like that I have to constantly clear my cache while working in Lending Pad in order to save data, then it shuts down and I have to log back in. I wish they would fix that. My processor has the same problem

Awesome ! Chat is amazing! Help is there when you need it.

Pros

Very easy to navigate ! What did I ever do without the CHAT, this is amazing help if you are in a jam and need an answer quickly, someone is always ready to assist. Borrowers find the application process smooth and easy! I am on this platform as a loan originator and a loan processor and love it!

Cons

renaming the files and being able to upload docs start from the system.

Doesn't Import Entire file

scale of 1-10 I would say 9.5

Pros

Love everything about it Layout, ease, admin, checklists, ability to modify, reports and data entry is awesome! If your a new company that is just starting out and don't have to import files into their system. LOVE LOVE LOVE the program!

Cons

if your a company transfering over files from a different software it's not to my standards. Credit reports don't transfer and status dates don't transfer and if it's a file I import it sets it up as an current prospect when it's an old prospect and I can't change the date on prospect.

Hello, we appreciate the feedback. We do allow you to import up to 100 Fannie Mae 3.2 files from your old system at one time. If you need more, please open a ticket we can increase the limit for you. Credit report liabilities and report date transfer over to 1003/Critical Dates section. We will talk to engineering about allowing changing Prospect date. Anything else you can think of pls use Support -> New Features suggestions form inside of the platform to submit. We do review each entry. We appreciate you being a valued client.

Great experinece, not to many issues at all - if I have any at all the chat is very responsive.

Pros

Very user friendly software, I've used proprietary systems (green screen no GUI) as well as other "user friendly" programs like encompass - this is much easier to use and gets findings way faster than anything else.

Cons

There is a slight learning curve but its still pretty straight forward so I don't really have to many complainants - maybe a update window that lets us know if Fannie or Freddie is down for example - if hat exists i don't know where it is.

Once I get used to the new system ; over all it’s easy to navigate .

Pros

The chat feature to navigate the site ; someone is always available to answer my questions, and all the tutorials .

Cons

Having used Point and encompass for over 20 years, it is sometimes difficult to get used to a different format , trying to find certain fields , and documents locations .
