Overall I like the tool and my CS team has been beyond phenominal. We had some challenges standing up the solution but they have been with us every step of the way.

There are currently no options to view historical information for employees in ADP (example - cannot see headcount changes if an employee changes from part-time to full-time in a prior month).

We integrate with our CRM + Finance tools and they also have the ability to integrate with data warehouses so you can build data models outside of the software.

We use Mosaic mainly for project management and document storage. Prior to this, we did everything manually and it was very inefficient. Now with Mosaic, we can easily see a project and the status along with all the documentation that goes with it. Everything is so organized and easy to find. This was a huge help to our business.

Great for Project Management

Overall it's a decent tool. It will be great for comparing budgets to actuals, distributing some simple financial reporting, and simple data interfacing across systems. The limits related to formulated fields in custom metrics make it less efficient for report building.

Immense potential but also a significant upfront investments

We are using Mosaic for our forecast modeling, analyzing budget to actuals, and compiling our ARR. Once the models and canvases are set up, it is easy to refresh each month in order to quickly produce the reports that we need.

Mosaic is great at taking information from our financial systems, CRM, and HR tools to enable easy financial performance tracking and reporting. With numerous data points needed to report on business performance having all details readily available in one place allows for timely and accurate reporting that formerly took days to manually consolidate and manually update in multiple spreadsheets. Mosaic also enables easier 3 statement scenario and long term planning that can be extremely manual and error prone when done via spreadsheets.

Easy to get up and running. Customer Success team is helpful. Some limitations in functionality especially in reporting dashboards, but they roll out new features regularly.

Getting away from spreadsheet modelling

Great data consolidation & efforltessly navigation, but limited resources (yet)

Good.  I came in to the process about 30 days after the initial start.  The support team was good.  There is still a lot to learn but there is a lot a great functionality in the solution and it is definitely scalable. 

Great Solution for Excel Modelers

Mosaic solves a few core problems that benefit our organization: (1) the integrate multiple, disparate data sources and allow that data to be harnessed in ways not possible without Mosaic; (2) the platform comes with many out-of-the-box dashboards/views that immediately replace less scalable dashboards that we were previously maintaining, saving us time and money; (3) most importantly, Mosaic has allowed us to have much more visibility into our operations, financial health, and areas for strategic improvement.


Highly Recommend Mosaic

It's completely transformed financial planning for us. In a start up things change from week to week and it's great that we're able to remodel scenarios in an instant and feed information into our Executive team to make strategic decisions quicker. All this as result of using Mosaic for all of our reporting and forecasting needs.
