I liked the layout of the software. It is generally easy to use. The colour palette and general design is quite pleasing to the eye.
It's quite expensive for a small business and of course they hide a lot of information before you purchase. At per month I could not enter more than 5 expenses per month! Ridiculous! Had to upgrade! Cancelling you account is very difficult and they will try and screw you out of every last cent. I will never ever use this company or software again. SO ANGRY at the account closing process. They might have stolen but it has cost them a customer and I will tell everybody I meet to avoid that software and company like the plague!

Good for accounting & Book-keeping offline.
Its functioning is good. You can easily get your Accounting data customized by preparing P&L account & Balance sheet
1. You have to take backup by your self no self backup facility. 2. Difficult to understand the reporting process.

Great import feature for bank accounts (main bank accounts are available - some smaller banks are not able to auto import) Simple payroll functionality Easy account reconciliation

I have been using the web-based MYOB since its launch back in 2012. The functionalities and the interface/look have been improved over the years. I like it because it is web-based, so I don't need to export the accounts and send it to our accountant, also be able to work on the same and updated info from anywhere.
The subscription price has been increased a lot over the years. I used to pay around monthly and now it costs around. So, for a light user, it's expensive. But well, I guess I pay for the convenience. The interface is not the most intuitive, but once it's learned, it's easy.

Reconciling the bank, making invoices and categorising expenses is easy
There are a lot of desktop versions of MYOB and it can be seriously confusing trying to figure out which version you need to open when you receive and client file.

MYOB Business was generally good and could not be faulted. It does what it claims to do and does it well.
Very in-depth, detailed and robust application and accounting platform for seasoned Accounts Officers, Bookkeepers and Accountants.
MYOB Business was challenging to learn and become familiar with for those not used to large digital financial applications. Some training was required.

Over priced, they don't care about their customers
There is nothing I like about MYOB, a product which I have used for 15 years. I'm locked in and cant move.

Very average.
The software is relatively easy to use.
It’s hard to get face to face support. Even when I’ve requested it I’ve received an email!! That’s not the support I appreciate. Every response is an email with a link to a webpage. This doesn't always help.

I like MYOB for my business as it is intuitive and it combines many different softwares. It is a 'one stop shop' for all my business needs which is what I need when I am very busy
What i like least about MYOB is that other softwares are more competitive in price. I stay with MYOB as I am used to the functionality off it and dont wish to change.

MYOB allows simple business management but does not offer advanced simple integrations.
MYOB allows for client management and invoicing from one system.
Using this system to manage an IT business is not the most innovative system and it has integration challenges from our PSA.

Lack of Support. It would be supportive if after long waiting for call backs that return callers could call back if phone-call gets disconnected; instead of leaving customer stranded without a Solution and left to make their own call-back puting them back on a long waiting Queue, even after already being diverted onto another long Queue!!!

I have used MYOB for many years and have not felt the need to change. We are currently able to solve all our accounting with the software. If the company was to expand then we would consider Xero instead.
I think MYOB is a good product and it does mostly what I need. It's very easy to do most accounting tasks. I do prefer the software versions rather than the Live/Cloud versions. though.
The customer service can take some time to get through to. and limited use of 3rd party payment gateways.

It is used as a standalone reporting software for financial statements.
Provides an additional option for small businesses and sole traders with limited budget resources to consider.
I find MYOB AO functions very rigid and not user friendly. For example, import function from other accounting softwares are not available.Unable to generate reports.Unable to download reports to excel.

Would suggest people to never use it . Such a lazy application n website MYOB is .. people don't go for this
If I had rate it below 0 I could only think of a minus 0 (-0).. not professional in any way doesn't seem to login nor does anything work as stated
Dont ever use this .. everytime 2 factor comes and every time u have to open a browser.. if this doesn't work why u tell us n waste our time

MYOB uses visuals to explain the cash in and cash out of the business in a way that makes it easy to see the big picture of what's going on. This makes it easy to explain the information in a way that my clients can understand
It can take some getting used to set up all the accounts you need to run a business. But that’s the same for any accounting software
