Patriot Payroll vs Rippling Comparison

I had try Gusto, Rippling and Paylex. Patriot's customer service is super, there's always someone available to help and walk-thru the setup process for free. The customer service is very responsive. The rep is friendly and patience.

Patriot does not integrate with others 401k providers, it has only one option to choose from is Vestwell.

The more I use this, the more I like it. Everyday I find at least one thing that has become simpler because of the Rippling app.

Payroll is a piece of cake!

Easy to use, great reminders for payroll, ease of payroll.

So far I have no issues, maybe if we add more options I’ll have a better answer

Like that payroll overview gives summary of what's changed from the last payroll.

Support is slow for any questions that aren't simple UI questions. Nickle and dime for automation/workflows.

Very easy to use and understand where to find important information and pages needed on the fly. No training was needed at all for onboarding, payroll, org chart, benefits election.

Easy to use on web browser and phone app. Showing Company hierarchy and your reporting manager. Easy to locate leave Data and HR strategy. No deduction and very fast direct transfer to the account.

The best customer support at a competitive price point and intuitive to use

Some settings can be a bit difficult to locate because they are nested in different places (eg updating funding accounts for payroll and international payroll)

Simple login and feature rich, but not bloated. Rippling is a very powerful tool. At the same time the customizability allows for a simple interface reducing any clutter. Using this tool was the quickest HR onboarding process I've ever used.

I would like to see more payroll data analysis.

The software is very user friendly and when you can't figure it out scheduling a time to talk to someone is also easy.

Just changing payroll companies in general is very stressful.

Rippling is the best business operations software that I’ve used. Simple, intuitive, and they’re thinking ahead on our behalf. They aren’t selling workflows; they’re opinionated (e.g. default templates for a consulting agreement). Big fan so far.

Payroll to a Canadian contractor was difficult to navigate.

Its extremely intuitive and easy to use, making my life easier in regards to benefits, payroll, and education.

Finding certain tax or payroll documents is sometimes hard.

We've only used the Payroll Management, Time Tracking and Leave Management and it's Payroll calculation works right.

It's not local tax compliant which is why we had to do manual tax calculation. Their Dev/support team couldn't support our custom feature requriements.

I love how it integrates to other programs such as TSheets and Microsoft; now I only need to create one profile for an employee and then the information "ripples" down!

I have had several employers in the past that have used different and/or respective HR, benefit, payroll platforms that have been extremely limited and cumbersome to use. Rippling absolutely ROCKS!!! Rippling is truly the easiest and most comprehensive platform that I have had the privilege of utilizing!!!

Payroll, onboarding, training, MDM and inventory management is great! Really impressed with the user interface and data it provides. The period over period payroll review is great.

The payroll implementation team did not meet expectations and communicate well.

The user interface for payroll management is super easy to use. I love that I have an expert that is handling the payroll tax and W-2 filings. The integration of all payroll facets is so efficient.

The set up is cumbersome. And there are so many options that it is difficult to pick what to use!

the interface is simple, intuitive and takes the stress out of finding the information that you need to manage your finances, incl. taxes.

would be fun to see a tool integrated to manage one's own personal budget and get advice on money management, saving for retirement or college etc
