My clients didn't like using Plooto to pay my invoices. They requested that I use the 'Pay Invoice Now' feature available through QuickBooks Online. It's much easier for all of us to use QBO than Plooto.
Easy to import invoices from QuickBooks Online
Clients had to enter their banking information every time they paid an invoice.

convenience of authorizing payments remotely
Integrates well with QB online. Easy to use. Convenient. Efficient. Time saver.
there is no payroll integration which slows down the payment and reconciliation process considerably. Please add this feature to QB online

Plooto is used to pay about 80% of our accounts payable and 100% of our accounts receivable. The check points that we have in place through Plooto is perfect for keeping inline with our financial policy and practice.
The ability to track payments and create reports is a bonus.
There are some features that are not as intuitive as I'd like, but with video and article support I can eventually figure it out.

Overall it’s a game changer and love it. Looking forward to future updates and a continued and improved seamless workflow with qbo.
The two way integration with QuickBooks online works really well and really simplifies my ap process.
Would love a tighter integration with QuickBooks online. Supplier credits aren’t accounted for in plooto. Ideally it would be amazing if I could pay bills in QuickBooks the same as if I was writing checks. And have that data pushed to plooto. I have had many suppliers fill Out the contact and direct payment info but have it not do anything on the plooto side. In all cases we did it manually. Lastly I have several vendors that pay by eft payments or credit cards from their sides. It would be great to hide those suppliers so they don’t show up jn outstanding invoices. Have had some confusion with double payments.

Good, the software is very easy to use and for the most part you can find answers online.
With QuickBooks Online and Plooto integration it saves me a lot of time processing payments and recording the transactions.
Since Covid it has been impossible to contact a person about my questions. I can't get a hold of my original contact and requesting support through the online request has yet to produce a response.

Team has been responsive and platform is a simple to use and saves time . Allows us to focus on what we need to do to run our business.
AP was seamless in implementing CDN/US. Loved the integration to Quickbooks online and iit worked perfectly.
Multi-currency on US receivables. Product worked perfectly in Canada but US setup for AR has been challenging. It worked on some accounts but various requirements on ACH, wires , currency reconciliation all make it tough. Although most other solutions have same issues.

It was a struggle to get support in the beginning and all the way through my 2 years + of using it. So I now use another product.
I liked it when I had someone to talk to when I had a problem.
It never updates QuickBooks online, it always reports to the wrong account. Support does not answer, or they send you an article that does not explain how to fix the problem

It worked fairly well but then reconciling to Quickbooks took extra steps that became unnecessary when Quickbooks Online introduced the same functionality.
Customer Service is non-existent. Phone calls didn't get through, chat takes hours to get someone on. How to cancel account? Not sure . . .

It's been great at collecting payments that I've send when customers agree to using it.
I like that Plooto allows me to set up PAD agreements with customers for automatic billing and syncs my invoices from Quickbooks Online
Customers are reticent to use PAD agreements, but that's not Plooto's fault. I'm not sure it's obvious when customers receive the PAD request that they understand why they're getting it or who it's from. Customer service is non-existent

I like not having to write checks, plooto lets me pay anyone online with no trips to the postoffice or having to order checks.
I haven't had any issues with plooto. Only issue has been with my integration with quickbooks had a few glitches at the beginning with international currency.

I think plooto is easy to use.
I love the functionality of being able to process payroll to my team. The ease of that as opposed to sending checks is great
I feel the time between process and when my team member receives payment is long. And the cost to process is higher than, say a stamp to mail a check. I don't use it enough to warrant a monthly fee. I liked the per transaction charge instead.

Fairly good. I would recommend it.
The integration with QuickBooks Online is good - it is current and shows me bills have be paid that same day as the order goes in. I
Missing bill payments. Missing an integration to show that my recurring monthly Receivable payments are paid in QBO.

Absolutely love the way Plooto integrates with QuickBooks online. It pulls in the bills to be paid, and you review and send them out... and it allows for multiple signers to approve the payments.
The issue I like least is that they don't offer a cheque... there are a few.. less than 1% of our bills, that we need a cheque for. I so dislike manual cheques, chasing signers... I need Plooto to send out a cheque on our behalf occassionally.

Overall its a great system and we have moved the majority of our clients over to it. There are some limitations but they just require a work around.
It is great for tracking the approval process for payments and providing an alternative method of payment for invoices.
Customer service has been a struggle for us. It is hard to get in touch with someone when we have questions or concerns. It would be nice if there was a way to receive approval for payment but to submit the payment offline. Sometimes payments need to be submitted by credit card or paper check and we cannot use the system for tracking approval for those.

Plooto made our transition to working from an office to home during the pandemic seamless. We went from an organization that made the majority of our payments by cheque (requiring dual signatures) to online using Plooto in about a week. I don't know how we would have paid our bills without it.
Plooto was so easy to set up, and it's auto connection to our accounting software was seamless.
We make quite a few payments to the USA, and I would like to see the cost on those come down. The price on Canadian payments is very reasonable.

My overall experience has been great. Customer service is timely and helpful. This software has saved me countless hours of which I don't have to spare!
The integration with Quickbooks Online is simple and makes my A/R seamless. I love that my clients set up an ACH agreement one time and moving forward I request and process my A/R with a click of a button. I can also select which account I want the deposit to go to. Data is easy to download for reconciliation purposes as well.
I would like to see a default bank account option so I don't have to select a bank account for each transaction. I would also love for the deposit times to improve.

Plooto has reduced our payment processing time down from 4-5 hours twice a month to paying our key vendors on a weekly basis in 45 minutes. We went from cutting over 50 cheques to completely electronic payment methods, with the option to still send cheques to vendors that prefer it. It is very easy to use and syncs perfectly with QuickBooks Online. They give excellent transparency on timelines of your payment statuses so you can keep vendors informed of when they can expect payment. Customer service is right at your finger tips and gives almost immediate help through their chat feature.
Some vendors can be skeptical to enter banking details into a third party payment processor.

I mostly used it for AR purposes across the U.S. and Canadian border.
It's simple, and that point needs to be kept in mind. The interface is intuitive and it syncs with popular accounting programs like QuickBooks Online. The best part of the program (in my opinion) is the AR function that allows you to set up a recurring ACH payment from clients for a flat fee. Depending on the size of your invoice this could save you some money in credit card or bank processing fees. Also, you can do ACH payment from a U.S. bank and deposit the funds in a Canadian bank account. It is a pretty cool feature that puts them above Bill.com. It also doesn't carry the monthly fee of Bill.com.
It takes way too long to send money across borders. My experience is with the Canadian/U.S. border. It took nearly two weeks from the time that the client authorized the payment until it was deposited in my account. Also, if you are using Plooto for a foreign currency exchange service much better rates can be found elsewhere. If you are using Plooto instead of Bill.com and need all of the permissions or invoice scanning functionality, don't expect it. However, if you want a simple AP and AR tool with an added bonus of being able to make and receive payments across borders, and you aren't time crunched to make or receive a payment, then Plooto is a great inexpensive option.

Not Good. Really ambitious to make it work I like the concept but they make it very hard to be a client.
I like that it can process both bank or credit card payments for receivables. It can provide automation too but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I like the price. And I like that it linked into xero. It appears to have it all until you use it.
1) Its not easy to use, no introduction. 2) the automation component never worked for me I know I had to get PAD on but I wanted it on for some clients off for others and this was not an easy thing to set. It also doesn't allow me to store the credit card something like Quickbooks online I had in mind but this is a complete oversight to the program. I guess if automation actually worked then this...
