This is how I get paid! I enjoy being able to easily put together and send invoices, and allow my clients to choose between various payment methods (though the fees are a bit steep on QB payments).

How would I manage (literally) without QuickBooks?

IT's a great product as an accounting software package.

If you are using Quickbooks Desktop, QBO allows more than 1 person to access the information.  We also use QBO with our Time Management System.

Customer Service is very helpful.  I like the chat and phone options.

Kinda confusing for the novice to understand the set up. Once its set up, its very easy to maintain.

Quickbooks is the bomb. I use the online version and it is fantastic. Automatically downloads transactions from my bank accounts, automatically categorizes them. I have my categories and sales categories all set up as subcategories of the lines my taxes get filed as. So basically at tax time I print off a P/L chart and go to the item that says "Line X: Meals and Entertainment" and enter that number in turbo tax. Takes me about 30 minutes to do my taxes, including deductions and everything. Not to mention all the normal charts P/L, Balance Sheets, etc.

Quickbooks Rocks

I love this program and will continue to use it again! They have affordable subscription plans or you can pay in one lump sum yearly rate for more overall savings. They are easy to work with and once you explore the program, it's very easy to use. 

When Taxes Become Your Hobby

The lamentable truth is that a QB Company record can get ruined whenever for various reasons, and once undermined your essential choice is to present the document to the Intuit Data Recovery group, who illuminate you that their fix exertion will take up to three (3) business days, during which time your business tasks are viably suspended. My recommendation is to consider cautiously whether your business can recuperate from such an interruption prior to wagering its future on QB as a business task stage.

"'Undertaking' Appellation Undeserved"

The unfortunate fact is that a QB Company file can become corrupted at any time for numerous reasons, and once corrupted your primary option is to submit the file to the Intuit Data Recovery team, who inform you that their repair effort will take up to three (3) business days, during which time your business operations are effectively suspended.  My advice is to consider carefully whether your business can recover from such a disruption before betting its future on QB as a business operations platform. 

'Enterprise' Appellation Undeserved

Entirely negative. I reached out to the enrollment team for help setting up payments for an important Enterprise client. All that was needed a straightforward enrollment link & code so that our team could set up a payment process to accept ACH transfers. This should have been a simple request.

It's taken 14 days so far and repeated calls and emails to the vendor advocate team and member services team to ask for the enrollment link (which only their team can provide) and I *still* don't have it. 

There doesn't appear to be a path forward as I simply can not get anyone on the Paymode team to respond to my requests.

Submitting hours for the wrong week unintentionally can be frustrating because there is no way to reverse it without supervisor permissions.

No recourse through customer service. Data is held hostage as leverage for stopping cancellation of unauthorized charges, ie: sure you can cancel but we're not sure what will happen to your data.

The thing I like the most about quickbooks is how easy is to generate an invoice and send it to your clients. They have a great UI and it is really easy to use the product.
