Overall, QBO is a good product, they need to update or improve some of the interface to make it feel fresh but the core functionality is there.

I use this software because it's the "default" bookkeeping software out there, but I hate it a lot of the time. Every time I have a bug or question, getting it resolved is like pulling teeth.

They've been one of the worst vendors/products to use in my 10 years. 

Avoid Quickbooks

We use Quickbooks as the core backbone of our financial reporting, behind HIPPA approved medical record software.  I would use ANY other product if it had the integration that quickbooks has. 

Best out of the terrible options 

Incredible and real-time online accounting suite with all requirement under one roof. Financial management and VAT return calculations. 

QuickBooks Online Accountability

QuickBooks is what I consider a necessary evil. Other accounting packages are far more expensive for similar core functionality and are not as supported by all the other business processes I have.

Crazy Expensive, Not Supported by Bank

Overall I am beyond happy with my choice to put QuickBooks Online at the core of my businesses accounting functions.  The cost is extremely reasonable for the power and huge capabilities it has.  

The most complete small business accounting solution 

Good value for money: easy to operate and intuitive. Not a substitute for an ERP / resource management suite for large corporations.

Mostly just been wanting to stay on top of finances and tracking a little bit more. It has been great having an online version that can be accessed on the go, instead of always being tied to a local copy of a spreadsheet or some other method.

Effective budgeting and financial tracking software

QBO is great. It's easy to use. Lots of things integrate with it, and vice versa. It's easy to teach to my clients and pull reports to give visuals on how their business is doing.

QBO is the way to go!

Super Easy Accounting Tool

Just another half baked inventory management solution

I have had QuickBooks for about 7 months and have been on calls with customer service for over 100 hours. The product was likely good at one time based on the reviews but they are constantly reprograming it and creating issues. All appear to be around driving people to use their other paid services like QuickBooks time and payment processing etc. Their greed for driving you to pay more has broken the core functions of the platform.

Quickbooks is the Quickest but not Cheap in Any Way

Sadly I hugely regret the amount of time i've invested in the platform. Literally the only thing keeping me on it is how big a hassle it is to transfer my data out.

Customer service is up there with the worst i've experienced from any organisation ever

General ledger, invoicing / accounts payables management, and financial reporting are the most important functions that Quickbooks serves for us. Everything was easy to set up, and also really scaled with our growth. Nowadays, whenever I need something new to add to our finance & accounting suite of software products, I always look to Quickbooks first to see if they offer something in that space, because I get the sense it might be reliable.

Overall, my experience using Quickbooks Online has been great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy way to manage their finances whether they're just starting out or have been doing this for years already!

Overall, I found that QuickBooks Commerce is a great tool for small businesses. The software is easy to use and has a lot of features that can help streamline your business. However, there are a few drawbacks. First, the monthly price can be a bit pricey for some small businesses. Second, there have been some reports of customer service issues. But overall, I think QuickBooks Commerce is a great tool for small businesses.

Perfect for small professional services company that has lots of projects

Before we purchased ArchiOffice, we were doing all of your billing through Quickbooks. It was as tedious and time consuming process, filled with errors.

ArchiOffice Saves me hundreds of hours

BillQuick is the best software for multiple types of businesses. I have used this software at radio stations, architectural firms, civil engineering firms, CPA Firms, and law firms. 

Once installed it is easy for employees to learn how to use the software. The desktop version also syncs with QuickBooks. The syncing with QuickBooks takes a little more training of an employee but works wonderfully and seemless. 

I have personally worked  with BIllQuick for about 10 years. It is very flexible for multiple types of businesses. 

BQ is Awesome

The Technical Support Engineers are top notch.  They are patient, friendly, and take the time and care to walk you through your issue.

Outstanding Client Support

I would not recommend this product for any small firm who requires integration with Accounting Software.  The level of effort required to utilize it is very high.  I honestly think your money is better spent to pay someone to print the information from your accounting software on a project-by-project basis.  Or spend the extra and use something like Deltek.

Can't function without it!

The system is very comprehensive and flexible. We've got a number of divisions that each operate quite differently and BQ handles them all. In a few cases, the BQ staff have been able to work with us to provide customization that proved very helpful. Training and support is an area where BQ really shines. You can always get helpful support when you need it. We also value that the software is DCAA compliant.

Quantity over Quality

We have been using BQ for more than 10 years and love the customizability of it.  We can keep track of our clients and jobs and create reports for almost anything we need and it syncs easily with QuickBooks.

We have been using BQE since March 2015. Prior to then, we kept all project information in QuickBooks. The staff were not able to see where they were on projects since they did not have access to QuickBooks.  Currently everything that is charged to a project can be seen in real-time.

I enjoy working with Archi Office. I am able to collaborate with staff on invoicing with ease. I'm able to get all the reports I need. 

Customer support is terrific.

Very user friendly for tracking time and expenses for your projects - Easy to make changes as needed. i like that you get to choose how you will lable your activities and projects to suit your needs. The number of reports available with their dynamic filters make a very powerful source of reports. And if you can not find a report to suite your needs BillQuick can create a custom report for you.
