Square Point of Sale vs MYR POS Comparison

Very customize-able. Good for small or large business. Equipment is nice and plenty of options

I use square POS when selling at Farmers Markets. Square makes it easy to collect payments from any location as long as you have internet/wifi. I also like that I can charge customers by weight (oz, lb, etc) instead of just single (whole) unit price.

Finding products in the interface is not as seamless as other POS systems I have used. For example, shopify pos has a great interface showing product images, etc for POS. I wish Square would update their interface.

It is easy to use and they are always updating and adding more features. Great option for most retail applications.

They went up on their processing fees and once you are using it and get your products into the system you feel stuck.

This software is super easy to use but lacks the sophistication that a retail shop needs. Simple software that anyone can learn.

If you need something to track inventory and help with POs / ROs and other more sophisticated POS features there are definitely better options out there.

Square POS is the best option for small business. In the end, you will be paying less for this we service than with with POS systems, including the cost of you register system. POS gives you so much and access to so much more for such little cost.

I have currently had no issues with Swuare POS.

It's easy to use and makes life easier for both online and in-person sales transactions.

There is not anything I dislike about Square POS.

Where to start?! Square makes the ability to receive payments seamlessly effortless. The Point of Sale system is hands-down one of the best, if not the best in the market. One of my favorite aspects about the POS is there is no long contracts and all one needs is internet access. The Square software includes everything a shop owner needs - inventory, discounts, employee management, etc, while the POS handles the exchange of funds.

There is not really a con to the Square POS system. I have referred many of my clients to use Square POS and they are all satisfied.

It's really easy to use and very streamlined. Having something that is so portable is incredibly beneficial. I can accept payments wherever I go.

There really isn't anything negative I can say about Square POS!

I haven't experienced any complications using using square pos

There was a time I paid through someone else's system and I received confirmation but they didn't show the money in the their account.

We love the user friendly equipment, software and back office. Our customers love the hardware use as well.

I wish it integrated with the POS specific to our industry.

Square POS is simple yet it allows me to do everything I need to in a POS. It doesn't take much at all to train others have to use.

Cataloging new items could be more straightforward but it is definitely manageable.

It is not very compatible with older phones. However, i have upgraded since and it works perfect.

Square is easy to grasp, minimalist where possible, yet still offers almost all desirable features at the touch of a button. Additionally, Square has become so prolific that one can almost expect new workers to be familiar with it.

As with most POS systems, issues of connectivity and consistency of reading credit cards remains an issue. That being said, this setback is minor compared to the benefits one gains from this POS.
