Pros

I use products like Stripe as well and I find the experience much simple and customizable.

Cons

The reports and analysis section can be a lot more customizable. We find it a bit difficult to collect the exact data we require for our month end analysis.

Attractive looking, but confusing

Pros

Average 2.something% fees. Very nice looking. It even accepts Apple Pay! There is detailed explanations for everything and the features. I think it's cool how you have the option for private payment disputes, because they happen at one point or another.

Cons

Learning curve is present. I truly wish it came with a card swiper. The response time is a bit slow, but it is nice for simple transactions.

Stripe is definitely helping us with recurring revenue.

Pros

My company was trying to figure out how we could sell products with recurring billing, and circumvent having to keep credit cards on file, and the legal headaches that could cause.

Cons

Integrating our CC Processor was more complicated than I thought, but we got it up and running. The fees are a little more than I want to pay too, but they're fees. The only perfect fee is $0.

Gold standard for payment processing

Overall Stripe has enabled us to easily process credit card transactions and not have to worry too much about the mechanics behind it. Once it was setup it overall has run quite smoothly.

Pros

Great API, well documented, quick to get setup and collecting payments. Nice templates to get started if you don't need to customize things too much.

Cons

In the past, some of the recurring subscription functionality could be more robust, would be nice if they didn't charge for fraud prevention services.

Best payment processing solution

Stripe's recurring payments has been a necessity for our Saas company, and the amount of extra work and PCI security we would have to setup without them would have taken us months.

Pros

Setup and integration was very fast. My team was able to integrate Stripe into our code and begin accepting payments in no time. Also the test environment with which we were able to test everything was magnificent. There were no surprises when we finally moved to our live account.

Cons

Reaching an actual person in support can be quite difficult. When I first started using Stripe I was a fairly small nobody, and the company made no effort to not make me feel that way. I had no negotiation power with the company, they wouldn't work with me on rates, and actually speaking to a live person at times was difficult.
