We used the TPS Desktop/On Premise software on a file server for 3-4 years and converted to TPS Axis in January 2021. Our staff members think Axis is much easier to use than the Desktop version of TPS was. It has been a wonderful change and I recommend TPS all the time.
We are primarily using TPS Axis for tracking employee time for payroll and to track client billable hours for invoicing. Our employees love that Axis is cloud-based, so staff can enter their time remotely. We also really like that the client work time sorts by different types of work and that each employee can have multiple billing rates for different types for their work. The reports that I use are easy to read. The conversion from the old version of TPS toTPS Axis was seamless and all of our old data was migrated into Axis in about 2 weeks. It's a great value for the price. I would love it if TPS becomes full-bodied practice management software.
The report names are confusing because they are all so similar. I have a hard time getting the reports I want, so just use a few that I understand. Giving each of the reports a more unique name would add a huge amount of value for me because I could use the software at a much greater level.

Enhancing the clarity and uniqueness of report names is certainly a valuable suggestion. You can always key in the search field the name of the report you would like to find. Detail billing is available, which we have always used. The cost is modest and the support response is short. Thank you!
Entering time when one begins a time entry in the morning and completes it in the PM...this should not be this difficult and oftentimes start time entry is lost.

Ease of use, reasonable price, time tracking and billing.
I still use spreadsheets as a backup to Workflow function because I like to see a snapshot of the status of each return in one place rather than having to drill down by client.

Support has been great. It is a little expensive being a canadian.
I like the accounts receivable and the ease of being able to check clients balances. I also like the database for client information
The American price. With the foreign exchange, it makes it a little pricey as a Canadian business.

User friendly. Good value for price. Cloud access.
Limited invoice formatting. Lack of report showing time/wip for each user.

We are sorry to hear you feel the invoice format is limited - our support team can help you see how the MS Word based invoice template can be set up in a mirad of ways - and they can also help you to see the dozens of reports in TPS on user by day, or client or work code for Time WIP - we have been told TPS has the most extensive list of reports available in any practice management program available for CPA's

Easy to use, Inexpensive but powerful.
Project, Client and Due date monitoring. I have also linked my TPS A/R to QBO
I would like to have integration of my Gmail account. I understand that is comming soon

We appreciate your input and are always open to suggestions for further enhancements. TPS Ultimate does have a synchronization with Gmail, but only for outgoing emails at the time.

Very responsive, fair price, they delivered what was promised!
Smaller company so we had great access to their management team as part of our implementation.
We misunderstood a few features related to timekeeping (especially related to "engagements") and implemented a few things that we ended up having to subsequently remove because they were of limited to no value.
