Turnkey automation solution for Plesk and cPanel with a wide range of third party modules

You install it, you forget it. It's completely automated.

Pros

Customizability, first grade support, import/export features, the new upgrade-in-place feature, invoicing features, the new marketplace.

Cons

cPanel features are a bit more refined than Plesk that we use, the cart procedure could be simplified.

TERRIBLE Customer Service

Pros

Auto reminders for late payments is good and easy to turn on/off.

Cons

Basic items like the credit card update should be easy to do and not require the initiation of a support ticket taking hours or in our case many days to resolve while invoices wait for updates to be made.

Good web hosting automation and management

Makes hosting life easier

Pros

Automatic setup, built in ticketing system, recurring billing , this is the software that every web hosting company needs to have to succeed, it automates everything even domain registration.

Cons

MIgrating to another server can be a challenge, especially if the server has different hosting specifications like moving from Apache to Nginx .

Very efficient, easy to use, easy accounting and great support. Perfect for domains and hosting.

Simple enough to make sure the user has an easy time accessing the many features easily. 2.

Pros

Very efficient accounting features i.e. invoice generation, email setup and SMS feature just to mention a few that once configured with the proper cron jobs allow for easy and professional host-to-client communication.

Cons

Most of the best add-ons are not free and require constant renewals. The branding of the system (but this mostly depends on the license purchased). It should consider the uprising businesses (SMEs).

As cons i must say it's not too intuitive, it you will need to read the documentation in order to do some tasks.

The ultimate hosting management solution

Pros

A wide range of payment methods are also available and the software can be used for development licensing too which is pretty cool!

Cons

It's difficult to find a negative when considering WHMCS. Years of development by a dedicated team and community has results in significant improvements. My only suggestion would be to improve its development licensing system. While it works, there are improvements to be made. However it is worth pointing out that this isn't the standard purpose of the software.

Integrates perfectly with payment methods and servers, makes my life as hosting provider VERY simple.

WHMCS is a good all-around product at a very affordable price point.

We use it for a CRM software with the focus being Client list, Billing, Support.

Pros

WHMCS provides all the basic functionality that a typical CRM software should. It works very well as a generalist software.

Cons

The software is a very generalist software, I would like to see it be a little more advanced. Each module is rather basic and it would be nice to see a little more detail and focus be put into them.

The really only one complete solution

It has simply everything you need to start a webhosting company or even to manage any small digital business that requires billing or support.

Cons

There are so many things to configure that a proper setup for a big company can last quite some time. The support team is ok, I guess, but they could be more polite and concerned with client satisfaction.

Its automation of processes and services is on its own league as that it requires is proper set up and your good to go.

Editing of some file is nearly impossible and takes time for you to understand how the back-end system works and can be customized.

Has great features, but in no way perfect

Additionally, it does have its fair share of hiccups now and then with things like activating and deactivating accounts. Support for WHMCS is not as great as it once was - expect about a 2 to 3 day turn around unless you pay for faster service.

Support System actually works, easy to communicate with the ticket system.

Cons

Monopoly Based Software Zero Support 9 days to respond to tickets Code locked down tight (Force Partner Services) Tries to sell partners development services instead of actually helping with their strict encoding files. Way to pricey for the support they offer with it. Which is zero.
