Pros

Workday does an amazing job with a great interface allowing the user to easily learn the system while not sacrificing the work being done. Easy, affordable, maintainable.
Overall experience with Workday Financial Management has been fantastic. Great capabilities that can integrate very well with other Workday modules.
I love how user friendly it is. You can find anything and everything with ease.

Pros

The features of Jira are very useful, help track multiple projects with ease. Helps a ton in collaborating with other team members efficiently.
Jira is pretty straight forward. Once you get used to how to set up a Jira, and subscribe to notifications it works on auto-pilot helps to get track of complex issues, resolution and monitor progress.
Slack integration is super useful and the ability to write JQL and integrating with Google sheet is immensely useful.

Cons

Hard to learn at first- errors pop up at times.
My overall experience with Workday is sometimes frustrating since I cannot get the reports I need to do my job.
Employees will accept having to use Workday to manage their taxes, etc. I'm not aware of an alternative for large companies. It will, however, be a perpetual pain point for employees.

Cons

It has limited number of software integrations. Error notifications can be annoying sometimes.
If you accidentally click on the wrong name, the submitter gets a notification when it is assigned, and then another notification when you fix this by assigning it to the correct name.
Sometimes Jira does not work for some time and that makes it hard to track work. It has server problems often.

Overall very happy with JIRA and hard to imagine my workday without this.

Pros

A very good tool for workflow management and supports all sorts of software delivery models. It allows to delegate tasks, monitor progress, and allow follow-up. Useful reporting features that can be used to track progress against a milestone.

Cons

JQL is a key feature to add the capability of having custom dashboards but learning JQL could be a steep curve for someone not from a programming background.

Cons

Versatility and functionality in one place, if you work in agile

I have used it to manage projects that involve the creation of a financial product, from its conception to its testing and implementation, which also involves assigning tasks, reports and monitoring progress. With Jira, this has saved me time in the management and development of that product.

Pros

What I like most about Jira is the fact that it is a project management software that adapts better to the agile philosophy. It is highly configurable and can also work under the Kanban scheme. Its interface is clean and allows collaboration with teammates and does the work in an effective way. With Jira you can configure almost any of your workflows, their states and their fields, action and issue items by means of your default configuration or by customizing on demand. Another feature that I like about Jira is that it allows a clear communication with the work team, since it sends instant notifications in each update of the areas of interest, allows interaction with the team, to share ideas and attach documents.

Cons

Jira is an incredible program. However, it has several edges that make it not so attractive. The first thing is the complexity, it is so wide and robust, that to configure and implement it, you must spend a lot of time, to achieve an adequate personalization according to the needs of your organization. Second, you must spend time learning to use it. Some functions, depending on the organization where you work, must be customized with a direct request from the manufacturer, which makes it more expensive. Many of its functionalities fall directly on the administrator of the program, which makes the volume of work is not equitable between the team.

A bit of a learning curve but very useful

JIRA has replaced the standard whiteboard that used to be used to track each workers tasks for the day. This system has drastically increased our productivity and allowed for more fluid updates throughout the workday.

Pros

Extremely useful in tracking the various projects going on throughout the company. It increases accountability between myself and my coworkers.

Cons

Ticket statuses can be very finicky at times and the linking conventions used are somewhat outdated. The interface also isn't as intuitive as I feel it could be.

This tool is great to track issues in the projects as well as the organization. Would recommend JIRA for tracking issues and project items.

Pros

JIRA is a good tool to track service requests and change requests. The workflow setup helps in tracking the ticket at different stages. The Watchers is a cool feature to keep engaged in tickets that interest us. Dashboards and Reports are a good feature too.

Cons

I think this tool has all the good features for Incident Management and Change Management.

We use Jira day-to-day in sprint activities, helpdesk and operational activities. So pretty much everything goes through Jira in our organization.

Pros

Easy of use, backups and recoveries are very stable and fast

Cons

Plugin management can sometimes be overwhelming

Amazing canvas to resolve tasks from project management to audit tracking

I have been intensively using Jira for both tracking project management and audit processes under our organization. Overall, I was more than satisfied.

Pros

Jira provides role based security model for audit trial tracking that has huge advantage to document financial transactions and communications into database scheme.

Cons

More functionalities the application provide, harder to set a solid configuration. I am looking forward to an easy-mode initial where newbie and disable users could navigate with comfort.

Pros

The Easy Drag and Drop Function is best among all the Other Systems. I am using Basecamp, Asana and Wrike but Jira seems to be more easy and flexible option for us for the Technical team. `

Cons

Urgency and Due date management is missing.

Easy user navigation Tracking every phase of project Easy differentiation of work Easy effort tracking Nice charts and graphs to understand trends Track usecases, stories, testcases etc

Cons

Some of the mandatory parameters to capture an user story might not be valid for your project Should have some integrated financial tool to track project spend
