Pros

The ease of creating a quote, changing it to an invoice once the client has accepted it, is a great add on. The ability to add inventory items on the fly is very welcoming.
Finances are easier to keep up to date and more frequently, the software updates are seamless, the reports are great, the integrations are outstanding, and the service is super.
On the dashboard you can see clearly, outstanding invoices and overdue invoices. This is essential for our team to access these numbers quickly and clearly.

Pros

Super helpful, easy to use, love the system. Hassle free accounting - I feel like they actually 'get' me and understand what I'm doing.
Ability to discuss accounts over the phone while looking at the same numbers. A repository of all paperwork / ability to generate paperwork / ability to generate preliminary accounts.
Good clear presentation. It does a very job for what is a complex subject area and helps me track my accounting activities.

Cons

Remember clear that when there was some technical problem the take no accountability. First It made me angry but then everything arranged.
Constant problems with integrated software for synching with bank & transactions. EXTREMELY poor customer service and it's ALWAYS the other software regardless of the problem.
There is no simple customer sales reports available. Quite ridiculous for a financial platform.

Cons

I am shocked of their very poor ethics and consideration against freelancers and small businesses.
I am now dealing with the worst customer experience, with late fee payments and been forced to pay a full year of subscription despite my wish to leave.
I have been a customer since 2012 and noticed the services getting poorer every year.

Xero

Great software, sometimes blighted by bank issues

Pros

Fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it and great for anyone who loves number crunching and looking in to reports. Automated invoicing makes recurring invoices an absolute breeze.

Cons

Our bank feed fairly consistently fails in Xero recently. This seems to be due to our bank changing their systems, but Xero don't seem to have updated anything on their end to accommodate this. Also, international payments can be a bit of a pain to reconcile sometimes.
