Pros

I love the app and gives me accounting on the go. Helps me track invoices and profits with ease.
The ease of use and reputation are by far the greatest part of this product. In addition to this, the range of potential integrations is fantastic.
Really easy to submit expenses, categorise them and check the progress of you submitted expense - super easy to do all from the app.

Pros

EBuyerAssist is a great product and great value. It has robust and complex eprocurement functionality at a fraction of the cost of the big 3 or 4 leading providers.
The customer service is amazing. They are very friendly and when you have a problem that you are needing help to solve, they are always dependable and look forward to helping you solve it.
It allows us to summarize our purchases for the managers in real time. The analytics are fantastic, and the built in audit trail is wonderful for our auditors.

Cons

There are no delivery notes/packing slips. They tout a "workaround" but be warned, it's exactly 10 extra clicks so it's really not an option if you need this feature.
Our main complaint is that Xero stopped doing payroll in 2018, so now you have to pay an additional fee to a payroll processor such as Gusto.
Changing accounting software from Xero is a horrible experience. They make it very difficult to pivot to other software.

Cons

I would have no hesitation in recommending their product or service.
I would prefer that it doesn't time you out. The cost is a bit high, but I guess you get what you pay for.
It is a bit hard to find cost centers at first.

Pros

Xero syncs with CrunchBoards, ReceiptBank, Satago and many many others. Xero in collaboration with these other apps can help you gain further insight into your business performance and help you drive further growth.

Cons

Xero seems very keen to add further options to the platform, this could make the Xero platform harder to use for an accounting novice.

I would recommend Xero to anyone looking for an online accounting platform, especially since it's the best double-entry accounting platform available for the price.

Pros

More powerful than QuickBooks Online with a better user interface.

Cons

Less powerful than QuickBooks Desktop. There are a number of features missing that have been missing for years and despite numerous "up votes" for those features to be put into place, Xero has yet to develop them. Allows multiple users on an easy-to-use online platform.

Pros

Able to easily work with my tax consultant to get a good idea of my cash flow both in and out with regards to my new e-commerce businesses, and work out my tax reports. Able to add any number of users. Plus the platform is easy to use and understand for everyone concerned, and it is all cloud-based and online.

Cons

I wish the paid plans would be made still slightly cheaper. Because for accounting software, at their core, the functions are simple. Most people do not really need many complicated features.

Pros

I like how the platform enables people to manage their finances without having to hire an outside party to do it for them. The platform is also pretty inexpensive.

Cons

The platform can be difficult to get set up initially, but most are so that isn't a fault of Xero. I would also like to see more features make their way to the mobile app so the experience is seamless.

Xero is a great accounting platform for small and medium businesses.

Pros

I use Xero in creating invoices for any pending liables of our existing clients and tracking any of their payments. You can easily track expenses, revenue and profit through Xero. It's very helpful in tracking the health of the financial status of your business. Xero is an accounting platform for everyone.

Cons

There are some features that are not yet available as of this time.

Beware! Not suited to professional services businesses

Having heard the hype, assumed Xero would have all hygiene factors, later discovered some are sorely missing and wish we had done our research and picked a different platform. It is not at all suited to our business (small consulting firm).

Pros

Web platform is fairly intuitive, supported by good mobile apps.

Cons

Lacks basic hygiene factors: 1. No expenses-only access, so you need to purchase expensive add-ons (e.g. Receipt Bank, ~$50pcm) just for junior employees to submit expenses 2. No ability to pass through expenses (taxis, hotels etc.) on client receipts. You need to basically keep an Excel sheet, or use Xero's tracking code system, but even this is hellish to adapt to this purpose. They have recently added the ability to pass through for 'bills' only - but not standard receipts???! When you look at the user forums on Xero, you'll see people have been asking for these basic things for 3-4 years. Some have 300+ votes! Any business that ignores it's customers for this long is not a long-term solution for my business.

Hands down the most flexible accounting platform.

It's been years I've been using the platform, it's often been a go-to for business growth. I wouldn't hesitate this platform from everything to independent designers to full fledged agencies.

Pros

This is by leaps and bounds the strongest, most efficient accounting software on the market. I've been using it on multiple businesses over the last five years and have seen the company, support and offerings explode.

Cons

The interface and visuals for estimates/quotes needs a lot of work. It's very basic and cannot be customized. Looks like something came out of 2002. Wish they would offer more customization and exporting really nice PDFs.

A Practical accounting platform that delivers a reliable output at a reasonable cost

Pros

The Dashboard is vey clear and easy to view, providing a good summary of current position and is able to be customised.

Cons

The price is competitive with other providers of similar platforms but loyally incentives would be attractive to avoid annual pricing reviews against other providers with similar offerings. Remote support could be improved as the helpdesk is not available instantly on line. Emails are required.

Simple to use system

Great, can't speak for a larger firm, but for a business our size it's great.

Pros

Xero is a simple to use platform and some intelligent functionality, great dash and good navigation

Cons

When something goes wrong, if you don't know how it went wrong (and don't know what to specifically ask for) the support is poor, slow, and so focused on streamlined processes and "closing of tickets" that no one reads your actual requests. The invoice approval process is cumbersome and there aren't notifications so you need to chat amongst your team to remind each other. It draws information from your bank stream which is quite clever, but sometimes it's so busy being clever that when the platform itself makes a mistake, it can take you a while to unravel it.

Overall, I would recommend this, especially for small non-profit groups. It expedites the treasurer position and makes your group information more secure and easy to transition power. Make your group professional in finances and you'll feel more professional in all aspects!

Pros

This is an absolutely easy integration platform. Set up was a breeze and it provides a quick and easy accounting platform for a small business or non-profit. I also like that there are levels of use so you can decide what features you need.

Cons

It feels a little too basic and adding historical information from excel is a bit labor intensive unless you can pay them to do it.

Excellent online accounting software

We wanted an online accounting software that we can use to manage all our payrolls, financials, orders, inventory and holidays for employees. Xero came with an amazing value for money and we continue to use the platform. Highly recommend it over any other platform.

Pros

It is easy to use even for people from a non-accounting background. You can easily create and manage all your invoices, financial reporting and statements, manage payrolls and holidays, journal entries, and reconciliations. Great training and a lot of training material are also available. Great UX/UI

Cons

We could not integrate XERO with CharlieHR which was a shame as although we managed holidays from Xero, CharlieHR was our HR platform that could have been great if there was integration in between these two.

The best thing about this software is the ease of use and the different navigation that already included in the platform which make my tasks easier especially in generating reports, generating and tracking invoices. The payroll aspect of this product is friendly to use. The integration of various software in this platform is superb! especially in processing of bills. Adding of merchant is easy as one to three. Furthermore, the platform gives quarterly reports to its users.

Cons

I think the main downside of this application is when there is a new updates to the platform other features becomes unavailable. Like it's dashboard becomes collapse and cannot be accessed or use.

IT was a the best bang for your buck 3-5 years ago. It's time to move on to something better.

Pros

Very simple UI. it's intuitive to use and it didn't take us long to understand everything the platform offers.

Cons

The platform is simple... yet it 'used to' work perfectly. The problem is that everything wasn't as dynamic or powerful as others platforms so Xero started to overhaul some features to make them better. The result? everything is now a new module that costs $$$/month/user. So what started as the 'best bang for your buck' is now as expensive as others. And after so many years probably there are more/better alternatives. Sort reviews by date because I used to consider xero a 5star platform but not anymore.

Just works - great accounting platform for start ups

Pros

Once set up this platform just works. Easy, simple and always there. Integrates with a lot of other apps.

Cons

The bank feeds can be finicky at times (fulling knowing that this is not really. Xero, but rather Yodlee,s issue); however, this makes it sometimes a bit cumbersome.

Great Accounting Software

Pros

Xero is easy to integrate with most of the big players in the e-commerce industry. We were able to set up instant transaction information to be sent from our e-commerce platform into Xero within a day. Its interface is straight-forward for our accountants.

Cons

Sometimes the integration stops syncing with our e-commerce platform. However, this is fixed by a simple refresh and the sync picks up where it left off.

Mindless to use, overall straightforward, but has its limitations

It makes my day easier as the navigation is fairly straightforward. It's also easy to get interns to key in accounting details without much explanation. However, I think this software is only suitable to SME businesses.

Pros

Easy to use user interface, not much accounting knowledge needed to use this platform. Admin can restrict access for available users which is convenient. Everything is straightforward and simple, the terms Xero apply with it's platform is simple as well, not any fancy accounting language. It's not mind-clogging to use Xero.

Cons

Certain complicated transactions aren't available, especially for reporting purposes, it would not be included. Moreover, Xero has it's limitations in terms of other software integration. We had problems integrating Xero with Orderhive previously.

Decent Accounting Platform

Automation for accounting.

Pros

The system is pretty intuitive. There are a few issues but overall it is an easy platform for non accountants to use.

Cons

While intuitive for the most part the areas where it is not intuitive can be really hard to fix. The data importation is not the best. When you get an error it does't tell you why.. so it takes forever to fix it.
