More invoice payment options. Payment options that would process things a bit faster, would be great!
Payroll for both contractors and employees. There were a ton of integrations. Invoicing feature was easy for review and sending to the client.
Xero did not have integration for softwares that I preferred to use, such as hubstaff. All of the integration options are great, but I would rather Xero have those functionalities themselves, for the most part. I prefer not have a thousand logins for the backend of my business. It is very frustrating, considering I have to keep up with enough as is.

Streamlined accounting services and easy online payment setup.
I love that I can invite my accountant to the software for end of the year handoff for taxes. I also really appreciate the ability to attach paypal or stripe to easily accept online payments from my clients.
I believe the expense report filing could be made easier or have more support in understanding how to categorize expenses when you are still learning how to do business accounting.

Xero is hands down the most powerful small business accounting software package I've ever used. Combined with its native payroll functionally and ease of payment reconciliation, it is worth every penny.
Payment reconciliation and linking with bank accounts/payment cards. User interface. Mobile apps. Customization. Ability to add additional users and control their access level. Third party integrations.
It seems to have issues making tax payments via ACH to the state authorities.

I am very much happy with what they are offering to their customer. it makes their lives very much easy and helps their business to grow at a much faster rate

I would like the team to develop a feature that will automatically alert for the pending payment and that the payment to make will automatically deduct from the account

The aesthetic of the reporting and invoicing is good
When you alter an invoice when a payment has been made, you have to unlink the payment and then relink it........also mass updating of pricing information isn't possible

Monthly payroll discharge is fully automated, saving time and resources while avoiding major payment discrepancy.
The programme is simple to install, straightforward to use, transparent, and has a large accountant following. Rather than the accountant, it was developed with the end user in mind. Depending on your package, it provides direct filing with IRD for Tax and payroll. Recurring billing allows easy and timely payment.
There is only online assistance available; there is no phone support. Several topics are not adequately covered in the "how to" guides provided by Xero, for example, recommended practises for paying dividends. Subcription is slightly costly, and the software is unavailable on windows platform.

Simplicity in managing basic finances and transactions, easy sync with banks and payment systems, clean UX.
I like the simple, intuitive interaction and the purely functional approach. The software is fairly easily scalable within its functions. Customer support is good and fairly responsive, in the very least communicating that missing functions are being worked on and or issues addressed.
Limited in function, though does not fall behind competition. I would love xero to take on more advanced inventory systems - but understandable if they do not.

Assigning roles to users is not comprehensive enough. Raising of adjustment journals not available to users except the Accountant. Subscription payment method is not friendly. It does not allow subscription payment for more than 1 month.

The integration to the 3rd party platform. From booking engine, payment Getaway, timesheet, etc.
I don’t know how to adjust the margin layout on invoice. My company details that I set up to display in top right of invoice always looks messy. I couldn’t find any helps to adjust the margin to make it neat and tidy.

Auto reconciliation is not reliable (will match transactions of different months...) Integration with Zapier could be more exhaustive (transfers not handled, etc.) Comments are useless since they can't be sent/assigned to users

Received email and steel no access to my data ???? We currently have an issue processing your payment at our end, so we've temporarily reactivated your subscription to LKN so you can access your data. We'll get back to you when your payment has gone through, or if there are any problems.
no customer service , xero use debit card detail when card expire they lock your account and you have no acces at all to your accountant data. when you klick pay with new card detil .window pop up they will sorted you in 24h.
you pay every month and they block access to your data for months you already paid!!

Overall Xero has been a good choice for me to manage my accounting. The biilling, invoice, financial reporting all has been sorted with xero.
The automation of bank reconciliation invoice creation and payment reminders has been one of the top things that i liked the most and is useful. The customization available is also just too good. The payment processing and the financial reporting both have been very seamless with Xero.
The online invoicing is although good but can be even more improvised. There are also very limited user permissions which can be improved.

A really great and easy to use invoicing program, great for people new to this kind of software and for seasoned pros.
It's easy of use and low learning curve make it easy to use on a daily basis for everyone. It's intuitive and easily customizable!
Integrating payments via etrasfer would be helpful but isn't necessary as it's easy to make payment references!

Wonderful software with so much use. When previously employed I use it to claim my expensive. It was so easy to use. As a company owner I use it to create invoices and request and receive payment. I love the great design and the database and automated system. I’m looking forward to using other futures.
Very intuitive, easy to use, great database, make my life so easy with instant payment and automatic reminders.
I found it very good, maybe I would liek to be able to customase my invoice a litle bit more but this wasn't a big issue.

Makes quoting invoicing and getting paid much more easier. The payfast payment method is a very nice tough. ,
The quotes and invoice templates are not really that easy to modify, at least that was in my case.

Would be great if it had progress payment options as well as better timesheet options. But overall we have managed with it and used other products for progress payments and timesheets. Also would be great to have auto payments for payroll (similar to their superannuation auto payment)

You will be happy with this software. Make sure you have a good accountant or bookkeeper backing you up as their are new features all the time. Be proactive and make use of them!
I love the feel of it. I find it very intuitive. It has great reporting options and I love having the app on my phone. The app works great for taking pics of receipts on the go (right in your system) and for invoicing on the go.
I wish it had Canadian payroll! That being said the payroll integrations with Wagepoint and Payment Evolution are great.

We made the transition from Quickbooks PC, and initially all was good. However, as time went on, we found little (and not so little) things that Xero couldn't do. We looked on the user forum and found thousands of exasperated feature requests to sort out the same problems.stretching back many many years with no adequate response from Xero. They seem to be more interested in marketing and hoovering up new users than improving their product. In addition, they have made sure that transitioning back out of Xero to another platform is a massive PITA, so keeping the money flowing in as dissatisfied users cannot afford to risk their business accounting on another change of accounts package.
Relatively cheap for the quality of user interface. Integrates with a lot of Fin Tech and payment gateways. Attractive user interface
