Cons

There are no delivery notes/packing slips. They tout a "workaround" but be warned, it's exactly 10 extra clicks so it's really not an option if you need this feature.

Our main complaint is that Xero stopped doing payroll in 2018, so now you have to pay an additional fee to a payroll processor such as Gusto.

Integrates well with quotient

Pros

Xero integrates really smoothly with quotient. When archiving a quote in quotient and creating an invoice, a corresponding record is created in Xero.

Cons

Xero's help documents are a bit difficult to use. I was trying to get help with import/export, but couldn't find anything.

Xero makes accounting easy

I'm a long time user of Xero. It dramatically reduces the amount of time you spend on accounting. One of the features I like best is the integrations. For instance, my quoting software connects to Xero and places my invoices in draft format inside Xero. So no more double-handling. Yes Xero does quotes too, but nowhere near as elegant as Quotient. They've continued to raise prices, which is just the cost of business, but it's annoying to find my US colleagues paying up to a third of the price of what we pay in New Zealand. Whatever the silly excuse Xero provides, that's very uncool. Other than that little gripe, Xero should make accounting easy for you and your accountant.

We looked at a range of different quoting tools, our considerations where - Ease of Use, Integrations and customer experience. Quotient ticked the boxes with all of these. We hooked it up to Xero and pulled through our product sets. Created template quotes and styles to match our brand. We've even A/B tested our accept quote button! The automation of quote -> xero makes things a breeze and our sales team can get quotes out to customers in minutes rather than hours.

Needs more integrations! Slack integration "Quote accepted hoorah!" More CRMs - Pipedrive !! Recurring product support in xero would be awesome as well

Awesome customer service

What I like the most is that I am able to show reviews from customers on my new quotes that I send out. I am also able to use a template. this serves me a great deal of time

Pros

I started using Quotient just when Covid-19 and lockdown started. I reached out to the Quotient team and asked for an extension of the trial period and they agreed to grant me access until the end of June. This allowed me to save a little on cost and gave me enough time to try the product. They are quick to jump in and help when I have queries or if I struggled with the system.

Cons

The only thing I wish for is that it be able to generate repeating invoices on a monthly basis directly from Quotient into Xero.
