Pros

One of the best things about Axiscare is that they have really responsive and helpful support staff. We have been in need of frequent help, and they have provided that in spades.
I am giving a very positive review because my company had survived during the lockdown because of this system, I was able to operate without any help for 4 months.
I love that it has the majority of features I was looking for. It is very easy to use and the service of the staff is amazing.

Pros

Implementation was seamless and there isn't a lot of backend setup. My field staff is also pleased with the transition as it is very user friendly.
Their staff has always been amazing at solving any glitches that arise and they have been very few.
The ease of use, the new scheduling views and the mobile app for my caregivers. The customer support at Generations is also great.

Cons

Few features are missing compare to HHA Exchange such as running exclusion list of employees and unable to view authorizations from mco.
There was not a lot of training for administrators and/or users. Also, there is no way to correct mistakes on entries.
I have the most trouble with the geo mapping for clocking in.

Cons

During peak demands times this program suffers long, sometimes absurd response times.
No feature for shift differential for payroll and billing. Pricey telephonic timesheet.
In order to keep track on the HR side of things, it is sometimes a pain to have to print pages of reports and backdate my searches for months. Things easily get overlooked.

It is a vital tool for homecare and life would be way harder without it.

Pros

Scheduling is better than it has been before. Have faith it'll continuously improve itself. Love the Note taking and reporting tools as well.

Cons

Wish the administer user had a more mobile friendly platform to manage work. Have to do a lot of pinching and resizing of the screen for handling scheduling on my smartphone and its a plus size.

Pros

I really have enjoyed using this product. I am a scheduler for our HomeCare provider and it has enabled me to become very organized and made communication very simple!

Cons

We have issues with the app not connecting sometimes, but overall everything works very well. I know it has a lot to do with service in the area and that is understandable.

Axiscare has been great for my business and I do and will continue to recommend to others in the homecare industry.

Pros

Axiscare has been a great software system to keep me organized and on top of scheduling and documentation. The caregiver mobile app is easy and straightforward. It has easy to use templates to create careplans and limits paper documentation to minimal.

Cons

The administration end of the system felt a little complex but with continued use it has become easier to navigate.

Pros

This software is exactly what I was looking for to start up my homecare co. This is my first time owning/operating a business so the features that this software has is perfect. Easy to use for first time business owners. I would highly recommend AxisCare to anyone starting a new homecare business. AxisCare takes a load off and has everything you need at a click of your mouse.

Cons

The only con I can think of is just like any other system you run in to, you have to get to know the ins and outs which comes with any new software that you've never used.

Ridiculous $1800 Termination Fee -

Poor. I do not recommend. I've worked on Generations & CareSmartz360. Both are significantly better and less costly.

Pros

I liked and trusted all the excellent reviews and jumped on purchasing AxisCare knowing it was going to be the answer to my scheduling software needs. I missed the introduction due to covid. Support does not respond same day. I figured out the program, but learned that the invoice that gets exported to Quickbooks Desktop can not be professionally formatted. This was a deal breaker for me. Two other scheduling software companies I've used both were able to adequately format. I canceled the service. I was charged $1800 for early termination. What a racket. I get nothing in return for that $1800.

Cons

Support is difficult to reach and then dismissive.

AxisCare has improved our overall office efficiency, and reduced the amount of time I have to spend on payroll and billing each week. We really appreciate the marketing component, which helps us track our visits as well as our leads and conversion rate. I am extremely happy with AxisCare as our Homecare management system.

I LOVE the Call Log. It is very easy to document all the activities of our homecare agency in one place, making it easy to review and know what is going on. There is no way to track our annual training requirements. All our caregivers are required to receive hours of training each year. We will have to use Excel for that....which is fine.

We at Visiting Angels provide non-medical, living assistance services. We switched over to AxisCare in May of 2012. The system was very user-friendly; the transitional period was surprisingly quick and had very little issues. We have not had any major issues since we began using AxisCare. The few minor issues that we encountered were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Based on the ease of use, customer/technical support, and all-around positive experience, I would highly recommend the use of AxisCare Total Homecare Management.

We have been using AxisCare for 18 months, and it has met and exceeded all expectations. We researched several alternatives, and Axiscare had the most functions, looked easy to use, and the cost was very reasonable. We have had awesome customer support - any questions or issues are answered quickly. AxisCare works great on my iPhone and iPad. The marketing function has helped our business grow through tracking leads and referral sources. I would recommend AxisCare to any company that is looking for a new homecare management software.

The staff is quick in addressing issues and answering questions. The company is flexible in adding customer's requested business requirements. The price is good; cost effective compares to other similar scheduling software available in the market. I appreciate the founder, staff and organization for their willingness to work with their customers. We will be a long time customer! (I have over 10 years of large-scale applications/systems experience.)

Cons

Recent changes made to the system (without client's sign off) set the system back in functionality.

AxisCare is a great tool to use to help keep the business organized. The customer support staff is always available to answer questions and guide me through any difficulties I am facing. I would like to see some things that were allowed with the beta system come with this system.

Pros

Personally I like Axis Care for its Scheduling abilities and active time menu. I do like that I have the option on the side to change the financial portion without going to another tab.

Cons

I do not like that I can no longer do things that I was once able to do before it beta went away. I do not like that if I modify a clients schedule it does not show for the caregiver the modification.

Cons

online check in is fickle, if the staff are not there right at the scheduled time the system does not work I have had some difficulty designing and editing forms I would like to use

AxisCare - A very Helpful Scheduling System Home Care

Pros

For a web based system it is lightning fast, which is important since you need to navigate to many places as home care workflow dictates. We could not handle the capacity we do without a very speedy system. The system is also very reliable. In the 9 months I have used it, I don't recall there ever being wide scale system issue or outages. The vendor is friendly and responsive.

Cons

The product GUI seems a little dated even for a newer product. There are sometimes better ways to approach functionality than the methods implemented. Also there seems to be features added on top of other features which creates some duplicative functionality as opposed to reworking a feature the right way. Something a strong product manager would be able to oversee.

Easy to use and very easy to build schedules. I really like that I can log into the system anywhere I am.

Cons

I wish you could verify hours from the calendars. It would make it a lot easier if I had to verify just one schedule.

The system is very easy to use. The support we received is wonderful! The system was able to be adapted to fit the many needs of our growing agency

Cons

What we liked least is that the "How To" videos are on YouTube. At times, the volume was not able to be increased enough to hear the information. The live trainings were great, but it would have been very helpful to have a hard copy guide to utilize as our staff was using the information. Also, the ability to create careplans that could be utilized for other services would be awesome
