CareLogic

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Ease of use for our staff. I love that Qualifacts keeps up with what is going on in our state and also nationally to have the software ready for the upcoming changes. Our state in the last 12 months had a BH ReDesign and then Medicaid Carve In and we couldn't have done it without our CareLogic program.

Cons

The communication and response time when we have a ticket in over issues we may be having with the system. If the tickets can be answered by the first responding team, they get answered quickly. If they have to be escalated to Tier 2 or 3, it's awful.

Solid EHR with plenty of features

Reviewed 5 years ago

Excellent company with a true eye out for the endusers, industry, and the product they have built and sell.

Pros

CareLogic has clearly been listening and developing this software for the industry they serve. The software has excellent workflows, collects all pertinent data, and makes your daily life in the paperless world easier.

Cons

As with all EHR products, there are costs to implementation, user fees, licenses, etc. These costs can add up and the potential buyer needs to be prepared for these costs. Implementation is also a significant process that will require thoughtful team members and manpower.

Qualifacts review

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Reporting capability - the ability to design reports based on just about everything. Looking forward to Analytics and the capabilities that that product will give us. I was able to participate as a beta tester for Carelogic Mobile as well and that whole process is very encouraging. The response to testers needs, how organized the approach was and the weekly meetings was all handled very professionally and well.

Cons

The ability to quickly and easily see everything about a service/activity that was billed in one spot. Who it was billed to, with procedure codes, units, and amounts, and then how much they paid and who it was billed to next and follow it all the way thru until it was totally paid for or written off.

Overall CareLogic has been great. I've been in it for 15 years and have used one other program.

Reviewed 6 years ago

Easy use of an EMR and billing rolled into one.

Pros

That it is easier to use then some and that it more configurable to each customer. I've used avatar and CareLogic is way easier. It is easy to use and easy to train new users. It is easy to create forms and learn new features.

Cons

Length of time getting tickets fixed. Often times tickets are in for weeks to months. I currently have a ticket in that has been at least 6 months since it was entered.

I work in billing, this program has lots of features and services for what we do, works great

Reviewed 6 years ago

Ability to run services through electronically and bill electronically. We've been on this system since 2012 and were almost completely manual then. This has smoothed a lot of our billing procedures.

Pros

Claim stops when something is entered incorrect. Alerts when something is needed. Ability to contact other team members through CL

Cons

Not being able to fix all errors myself. No manual claim engine. Diagnosis does not end when a patient discharges.

Review of CareLogic

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall, it's been good.

Pros

I like that we can customize the program for our needs. It allows us to set up the system the way it makes the most sense for staff. It's easy to navigate and makes logical sense.

Cons

Because it is highly customizable, you really have to know what you are doing in order to set it up correctly. Any changes in services requires multiple steps to change.

Positive

Reviewed 5 years ago

It helps our staff be more accurate and complete in their documentation. Ease of use is extremely helpful.

Pros

It allows many configurable form development, an assortment of implementation planners and ease of navigation. We are able to restrict and restructure the pages for different areas and programs. Rarely any down time on the part of Care Logic.

Cons

Areas with duplicate information cannot be auto filled.

A very configurable system.

Reviewed 5 years ago

Excellent. Qualifacts staff is very supportive.

Pros

The software is very configurable. You can set up documentation to meet your agencies needs. The system can be set up so everything that is needed to send out a claim is attached and completed before the claim goes out.

Cons

Reporting is more difficult, however, they are changing the current reporting software to make it easier in the long run.

Good software

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

The Face Sheet is easy to navigate and reaches most of the major parts of the record without too many clicks and digging.

Cons

There are some minor issues with scrolling over items versus clicking items. I dont always know when i am supposed to scroll over the word to get the next menu or click the word. If you click when you should scroll it takes you out of the record completely and that is frustrating.

Support Services

Reviewed 5 years ago

Ease of use for psychiatric providers is good.

Pros

Support Services have greatly improved over the past few years. Support is knowledgeable and works to answer questions the first time. There is minimal back and forth. If the request isn't able to be resolved right away I am kept informed of the status.

Cons

State reporting can be improved. We've been over promised and under delivered.

CareLogic has helped increased compliance with Federal, State, CCO, and agency requirements.

Reviewed 6 years ago

Greater transparency of non-compliance.

Pros

There are many configurations that we can set for our agency specifically. This allows us to customize the record based on our needs down to a specific location.

Cons

Some basic menu functionality and ease of navigation in some modules is frustrating. For example, having to search for a client instead of being able to click a link within the module we are currently using.

This electronic record system is perfect for behavioral health service providers.

Reviewed 6 years ago

Solid documentation tools to meet regulatory requirements and design capabilities for various systems of care.

Pros

the fact that you can mange the rules and reconfigure forms as needed. but the most impressive is the Quality elements and tools supporting compliance and aleret management.

Cons

Nothing really. The once clunky plan of care has been reworked and we have been provided a new tool that is much stronger.

CareLogic has streamlined our entire practice!

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

(1) Seamless integration among scheduling, clinical documentation, billing. (2) Customizable "Alerts" (with canned items for 'Failed activities', 'Missing/Unsigned' documents) allow each therapist and their supervisor to monitor incomplete documentation and encourage timely completion to facilitate billing. (3) Able to create your own documents and workflows and work them into the standing CareLogic system in ways that fit your workplace. (4) Scores of 'canned' reports to allow data to be tracked in meaningful ways. (5) Ability to organize homepages for each staff member (and/or at an organizational level) to get quick visuals on key items (upcoming appointments, performance targets, system messages).

Cons

(1) Pentaho reports - customizable report writer tool - is complicated. (2) Message Center (internal email) does not allow for 'deleting' emails, does not maintain a 'sent' folder, etc.

CareLogic Review

Reviewed 5 years ago

Positive. Support is very helpful and explains the hows and whys of why the problem occured.

Pros

System is very configurable and has options to meet multiple needs.

Cons

If you were not present at system install, it is difficult to track what configurable options are available. Having a catalog of options to configure the system would be very helpful. Often, we do not know what we don't know.

Cumbersome, not intuitive enough

Reviewed 5 years ago

Data extraction is difficult. Our agency was under the impression that the report writing tool was easy to use with training. We had trained several staff, who still cannot use the Pentho reporting tool.

Pros

The Pros are also what makes a large Con - customization. Agencies can build customized forms for their needs and create their own structures.

Cons

It is a difficult software to get used to. Information is not easy to find or view, you have to "go fish" into different menu and sub-menu lists, then go back to find something out or to perform a workflow.

CareLogic review

overall I have had a mostly negative experience with Carelogic and I am on the billing side as opposed to clinical.

Pros

I like that the system allows remittances to be exported into excel. It allows us to create reports for follow up,

Cons

does not seem to be user friendly. I takes a lot of keystrokes to do most tasks which leaves more margins for mistakes and the reports a pretty bad

My Review

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall I am satisfied with CareLogic but there is room for improvement

Pros

I like that it is a web based EHR and that we are able to have the option to have remote access mobility. Overall the software is easy to navigate.

Cons

Enhancements and Support can be improved. Very difficult to know what is being worked on as far as our enhancement tickets and when things will get completed.

EHR

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall it is a very expensive product, but it does work well for what you pay for. Some small quarks as an IT person I have to deal with regularly which is disappointing.

Pros

You can customize a lot of the EHR as long as the person knows what they are doing.

Cons

Lack of communication from tech about routine maintenance. Random issues and downtime at the least appropriate times without notice.

It is highly configurable and the company provides great customer service. They provide a variety of options for training staff on the community site through the C3 conference and also admin training sessions held in nashville

Cons

There software bogs down during peak usage times. Our clinicians often are required to wait for documents or are kicked out of their session.

Carelogic Review

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

What I like best about Carelogic it is easy to navigate. Also, the system can be customize for different departments. Love the different reports that can be created through Pentaho.

Cons

What I like least is the HR component of Carelogic. Feel the system is very lacking for HR standards. I would love it to have more availability, and ease of access.

CareLogic is a great platform for ECR

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

I have learned how to create Service Documents and they are very easy to modify as needed to make them as user-friendly as possible.

Cons

CareLogic occasionally isn't working, and that makes it difficult. Also, I have submitted several "Enhancement Ideas," but none have ever been implemented.

CareLogic for Mental Health Services

Reviewed 5 years ago

Care Logic has created efficiencies in client record workflows and improved agency documentation compliance.

Pros

Ability create and modify forms. User set-up and ability to limit view/access based on position.

Cons

Reporting is limited and slow. It took a long time to set up the billing functions which hindered agency cash flow.
