One thing that sets Genesis EHR apart from other software is its constant improvement. The Genesis team is always making updates and adding new features to make the software even better. We have seen the software evolve over the past 6 years, and it continues to get better and better.Switching EHRs can be a pain, but we are glad we made the switch to Genesis. It has made running our practice much easier, and we could not be happier with the software. If you are looking for a robust EHR to help you manage your practice efficiently, I highly recommend Genesis. They truly dominate the chiropractic EHR space, and we are grateful for all they do.

Excellent product. You pay for quality. If you don't have complicated, detailed thorough notes you can look elsewhere and be all right.

It is my EHR software.  I can do my billing and notes all at once. 

The program is vast and serves its purpose.

The beginning seemed like a lot of video with similar content and the meat and potato of what i needed as a physician wasnt trained prior to going live which caused a lot of hiccups. Once we started working with our transition things became a lot better.

Awesome integration between practice management and billing!

I find I have more time with patients than with sitting and separately do entering of new and recall patients, billing, reports and follow up with claims, appointments etc. It's done in one day of entering patients to schedule.  My staff love it and find it easy to follow. 

Why I prefer Genesis in my office

Overall this is all you need in an EHR software, higher priced but you also get what you pay for here.

Working in billing for over 18 years I didn't realize there was another way - I was trained to "react" to the billing cycle as it worked through. I never imagined that there could be a "proactive" solution where an EHR company would actually invest in the full cycle to the extent that they would be able to intelligently predict payer response to billing and code combinations.
This system appropriately ties together the entire practice - from front desk to chart noting and of course through the revenue cycle. It seamlessly integrates each player in the office  and uses a unique practice management tool called "workflow" to drive efficiency and accountability in every corner of the practice, including the patients.
There are so many possibilities for those who wish to turn on all the options and for those looking to keep it more streamlined and simple that too is an option. The price point, with the clearinghouse integrated, is unbeatable.
This solution has been long overdue for Chiropractors - thank you.


The Change That  Is Needed

We had it for a year. It worked well. Chart notes were fantastic, digital paperwork was great. But fell short in a few of the areas we needed.

Excellent. Very impressed with the immediate attention and support we have gotten from Genesis. Managing the clearinghouse issues was extremely time consuming with other software, but Genesis handles all of these issues with pretty much seamless interface. 

Outstanding how Genesis meets Billing Management Needs

Genesis has been a instrumental tool for our startup chiro office 

It has been quite smooth. I have never worked solo in a clinic like this before, and genesis has been very helpful on multiple fronts, not just implementation of the EHR, but also allowing me to understand the industry better.

It's practice management tools are second to none that I have used in the past.  I have used Practice Fusion, ChiroTouch, and others.  This is the most robust software that I've used.

We have Genesis at all of our satellite offices.  Once the doctors got the hang of it, they love it.

Great, for the outlook for week by week and customizing that availability within the practice.  Notes are the most difficult process.

Scheduling is great,although it would be helpful to have automatic appt. reminders for patients.

Genesis is a great EMR, they have great user support and we have been able to integrate multiple applications with few issues. The customization for your practice is great, but there are too many options sometimes.

Super great experience, and will stick with you!

Super fast flow!

Customer service and support have been most helpful in all areas when needed. While the system is not perfect, it has many features that work well. I can see how for a direct medical practice this system would work very well. For a chiropractic clinic such as our own, it is functional. Hopefully as PEHR grows they will build more into the system to make it more chiropractic friendly.

User friendly.

User friendly software

This has been the worst experience of my 30 year professional career and the worse EHR I have used. 

Sales man Mr. X was  liar. He  didn’t tell me the clear terms and conditions and cancellation policy even I asked (sales man) specifically. I asked what is the cancellation policy for monthly plans ? And he says you can give us 30 days notice prior to canceling and that’s all. And when I gave notice for cancellation , he charged me for whole 1yr fees when I gave 30 days notice after 2 months of subscription. But I asked just questions regarding cancellation policy that I will be charged for anything else if I cancel any time and then he says no it is just 30 days notice and you will download your records and give it to you.

I’ve had a great experience with Practice EHR so far. The executive was a consummate professional and both reps have been great on the support and technical side. I have not heard one no from anyone and I’ve asked a lot out of this software.

We are a lifestyle medicine clinic and the software is good for us. The cost is low, so the value is great. We don't use ICD-10 codes but they are easy to implement. Customizability is good.
The only issue we run into is we can't track outside labs and put them in manually to graph, but that's an easy fix with an upgrade and it's more of a want than a need.

What I like best is how user friendly it is and how everyone at the company is willing to help you.

Some of the processes are not intuitive on how to do something. You'd think it would be easier to back out a point-of-sale purchase that was put in improperly by accident.

Love the ease in scheduling; it's very basic and anyone can learn it quickly without much training. Pin map settings have been very helpful for our practice.

My overall experience has been great. Everyone from the training staff to the billing team has been very easy to communicate with and willing to help with anything or any troubles I run into.

I even find the tasks confusing - I still go to the home page to make a task - less confusing than the multiple choices in the task tab.

Overall very happy with software  SOAP notes and patient management and reports are all easy to use and intuitive.

Then ability to customize the product for the needs of our office was a huge feature.

I love that we have all patient information in one location. Also, it integrates well with our posture analysis that we use, as well as the SKED texting that we use.

No real cons, there is just a bit of a longer learning curve needed for getting implemented. However, we were told this in advance, so it wasn't a surprise or shock to us.

They have also updated to now make it easy to connect credit cards, etc to other accounts for billing purposes, and Genesis integrates well with that.
