Clinicient, a great team mate

Pros

It is made specifically for therapists by therapists. We feel very safe due to their efforts to build compliance into the system. Cloud based option gives us peace of mind knowing that we don't have a bunch of PHI around our office. Great reporting and metric features. Customizable templates. Customer service and value added services and training are wonderful. One stop shop for Scheduling, Documentation, Billing.

Cons

I am guessing that it could be just a problem with all programs, but they are just not as fast as paper charting.

probably one of the least user-friendly online EMR programs I have used.

I apologize and wish I had a something better to say, but documentation takes to long and the various other issues compile my frustrations with this online software.

Pros

I wrote down a pro and con list before I started this. Unfortunately, I have only 2 things I like about this online EMR system. Its checklist feature for documentation has the right idea if they could be streamlined without waiting for each check to be loaded and saved, costing much time and makes documenting a hassle and a headache Creating/modifying or editing templates is also an easy feature, but is not hassle/headache free to time required for saving.

Cons

What negates the pros listed above is the time it takes for changes to load. Everything takes forever, their server size does not operate smoothly during business hours, since it cannot support the number of users. It does not have a totaling system to add objective or performance totals together. This is the only EMR system that DOES NOT have an integration with insurance auto-eligibility and benefits...

Inaccurate Sales Pitch!

HORRIBLE. Was lied to repeatedly. Paid for the training, only to discover at that time that the product was unusable for our needs. Team admitted several times, in writing, that sales lied to us. Corporate would NOT refund our money for the cost of the training and the cost of our "implementation manager's time"

The software is easy to use and practical for PT's and OT's ONLY

Cons

Was told that there was an on-line platform: NOT TRUE! The platform was "in the works" Was told that many Mac. computer people use the software, Mac compatibility is not a problem: NOT TRUE! You need to have the Microsoft conversion software installed on your Mac Was told that there was a complete set of goals for speech therapists: NOT TRUE! The few goals and other items are of poor quality, lack efficacy and are only applicable to peds Was told that we could customize anything. NOT TRUE! We were unable to do so. After literally days trying, finally tech support admitted that there was not a way to do what we were told to do.

InsightEMR is excellent software. Easy to use. Consistent updates on the everchanging rules and regulations. Support staff is always available. Our monthly meetings with them always help us to be more efficient and thus cost effective. I highly recommend InsightEMR.

Clinicient integrates the entire practice management timeline.

Pros

Responsiveness both from management and tech support as they continue to evolve and enhance the product. Compliance is made easy and reduces risk when navigating the rapid change in regulations and policy. I also like the integration of the whole patient encounter from the admin side to the therapy side to the collections side. There are not hidden costs...they are very up front with pricing.

Cons

They went through some growing pains when their client base exploded, but they have invested money and management strength to solve this issue. So far, their product continues to grow as one of the main players in rehabilitation EMR systems.

Clinicient is effective!

It allows me to run lots of reports and see my schedule at a glance!

Cons

Connectivity issues, lots of waiting on the server to run. Not quick.

So far it's been fun and I have learned some things. What is the correlation between your department and Clinicient insight? Is this for Marketing only, or can I get some issues discussed for insight? So I have had a twitter account since I attended Clinicient University, definitely some funny and good information.

Pros

They stay on top of billing rules, changes and makes frequent updates based on user feedback and experience. I was using another cheaper software before but the switch is worth every penny.

Cons

The only thing I miss is a scheduling app that would work on an iPhone. Otherwise, no complaints

Pros

Integrated system with billing, chart notes and scheduling. Able to fax from system. Affordable. Good customer service.

Cons

Could have better reports. Requires lots of customizing to get system to be what you want (but great you can customize it to that).

Was a great option

Pros

I took the time to talk to the company about this software and have a tutorial. It was in my top 2 options because of versability. The price was great, the easy of use was good, the learning curve was easy and it had all the functions we needed. However, it was a split decision and I lost the battle so we did not go with them, we went with WebPT which was a mistake. Will probably switch over to this soon! Don't make my mistake. I would recommend at least looking into this and taking the tutorial as it has all the things you would need as a provider.

Cons

There is nothing I found that I liked least as I have not had the chance to go as in depth yet.

We have used this software for almost 1 year in our Private Practice PT office.

It has been a real bonus to see what exactly we are billing as we close out the documentation. Everything is accessible on one page and works to keep you compliant. On the other hand, we have not found it to be paperfree. We have to send masses of documentation on payment to them weekly. They are expensive for my small clinic and even after a year, I spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to find the exercise or treatment activity I want to document. Time consuming and rigid I would say. Slow to respond to questions and at times, no answer is received.

Good product for outpatient clinics

Pros

Great system with a scheduling, documentation and a billing module for outpatient clinics. The system thinks like a therapist and so feels very intuitive. They also have a revenue cycle management team that can do the claims for you

Cons

Not much to add here except not sure if it is cloud based or not and slightly more expensive than some other products in the market
