I would like to see more flexibility with customization in reports through system and not excel, as well as pricing for EHR not be so high.

So far Kareo has been a great buy but there are some things that I believe could use some modifications. The shortcut and task bar aren’t customizable and the fact that patient statements printed through send patient statements and the ones that come out when you go into the individual patient are different can be bothersome because it’s not the same layout and the layout when doing bulk has the payment portion.
Keyboard shortcuts and connectivity to EHR
Shortcuts and top bar aren’t adjustable enough

When I was with other EHR it was always hard to get someone on the phone with Kareo it is different.
I like that Kareo Clinical EHR is easy to use, it only took my practice one day to learn how to use the Clinical EHR.
At this moment I like the software there is nothing that I don't like

I've been using Kareo along with our full-time EHR and couldn't be happier. Even now that my EHR has own billing software, I am staying with Kareo.
There's really nothing to say. Sometimes we have to fix Payer-Insurance entries, which maybe don't sync with our EHR.

They provided multiple check list to help prepare for the ICD-10 transition. Their program updates have never created an issue and their auto enroll set up for ERA's is easiest I've seen.

Fairly easy to integrate into EHR and monitor statistics
Some of the software features could be put into more affordable price packages that may be more affordable for smaller businesses.

Started small with just the billing platform and have expanded to billing support, EHR, and marketing. The EHR and billing work seamlessly and accounts can be viewed in EHR. Pt reminders are via phone, text and email. Most insurance verification can be done on the platform. Labs and other ancillary services can download results into the EHR.
It's the total package. You can purchase as much support or as little as you feel you need. Marketing made a big difference for us. The pt reminders have made a huge difference also.
Sometimes your team gets changed and there is a getting to know you stage.

Horrible customer service; they never answer emails.
Nothing; this is a rudimentary EHR; practice management is fair.
Customer service I was overcharged $1700 and they have not refunded me the entire since October 2023. I call them 2-3 times weekly. They still owe me $600

The vendor is easy to access for questions. The product is easy to learn and easy to use.
I would like a little better tie-in between the EHR part and the Practice Management part. In particular, it would be nice if the EHR auto-populated previous diagnosis information.

Very good support, comprehensive elements in both EHR and PM software.
As a solo practitioner, it has been hard to get up and running, and as a psychiatrist, I find the system is more attuned to a larger, multi-practitioner medical or subspecialty practices, though the behavioral healthcare elements are well-designed and thoroughly researched and able to support writing E&M notes as well as CMS-compliant treatment plans.

Overall, this product is exactly what our practice needs.
This product is very user friendly and is formatted in a simple format that does not feel overwhelming. It is easy to use on a limited scale, but has options to use more robust features.
I wish there were a few more customization options inside of the EHR. The billing software is very robust, but it would be nice to print a few reports (patients, scheduling, etc) through EHR.

This brief trial of the product has been revealing. My practice is simple, and my requirements are simple. I need to prescribe medications to sick patients. This organization cannot meet the most basic requirement of an EHR in the 21st century. It is a billing platform. That is the priority. THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF YOUR PATIENTS does not enter into their business plan. This is a corporation. Their goal is to make lot of money. Period.
There are no advantages to this EHR vs other comparable EHR's.
This corporation has not prioritized clinical practice. It is essentially a long-standing billing platform that threw together an EHR to get more money from clinicians. You can not reliably and consistent order medications with this platform. There is always some sort of failure in the system, either electronic prescribing, or electronic prescribing of controlled substances, or both. There is no meaningful...

I really enjoy Kareo for posting payments. There are a few things that should be easier and not to many steps to do one thing.
Its easy to self learn. The PM side is great.
The EHR side is not easy when you have to send out records.

My experience is neutral at the moment. We have used this system for a little over a month so will need a few more months to determine if it's worth the cost.
Gives me ability to bill also interfaces with my EHR at no extra cost.
Enrollment times are really slow going. ERA also takes long to receive even once enrollment the has happened.

Once upon a time "Epic" was invited by "kareo" for a dinner. Epic liked making friends and accepted the dinner graciously. Kareo treated Epic very well on dinner, they had wine followed by steak. After many months Epic and Kareo had a discussion, and Epic realized...

Kareo has been a good fit for my practice.
I like that the EHR and billing portions are integrated and I like the ease of use. It was very easy to learn how to use Kareo's EHR and billing software. I like the web app so I can work from home.
The only con I've found so far is that when I sign a chart note, the note is closed so then I have to reopen it to e-fax it.

I love that the customer service is always willing and available when we are in dire need. I love the EHR side where I can see patients check in and all there health history and note in one section. I also love the EHR side where if you are in a note you don't have to log out of that note to see the contents of a different note. I like how the EHR side shows when I person is late, how long and changes color. Documents also have gotten easier to scan in on the EHR side.
I do not like having two sides to the program, PMR and EHR. It would be easier if you could schedule, see all appointments of each patient, account history (services rendered), billing, and health history & notes all on the EHR side. It doesn't make since to have to flip back and forth to each system. Especially when the providers work mainly in the EHR side. They need to be able to see things in the PMR side just as much as the Front Desk does. I also hate that you can't split appointments by providers by time in PMR

The worst I have ever had in my life with an EHR system.
Documentation is easy, templates work fine.
I want to make sure I remember the following text: "They do not have adequate support for processing ERAs and EDIs. The customer service is friendly but they don't fix anything, and the loyalty team is impossible to reach after 2 pm even though they claim to be working. It's horrible to try to obtain any revenue from them. I had to close my practice because of them. The administrators lack knowledge...
