It has the necessary components for managing a private practice (such as a psychology practice or therapist practice).
It is not the easiest to use software and seems a little outdated. I am not sure if this was just my version, but it is not the most intuitive and would sometimes lose data if not saved often or if backtracked from a page.

This software has been the foundation of my practice for six years. It has a notable ease of use, clear sections, and all elements necessary for a private practice.

Overall it has been good. They have added a lot of features since we started using it 12 years ago. It is easy to use. Wish it had prescription integration.
I like that it is fairly easy to use and doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles that a psychiatry practice doesn't need in comparison to a regular medical practice.
I don't like that you have to do a lot of clicking around just to print an invoice or to apply a partial payment or write off some of the amount due in different screens. I wish we could enter everything in one screen before invoicing it. I also wish that the list of past appointments for a patient could be tagged with a no show or a late cancel so we didn't have to write it in the notes below a patient's profile instead. I also wish it would list the balance of a patient right on the calendar next to their name because we often miss the fact that a patient still owes money. you don't see that amount unless you actually click on the patient's profile.

I am able to bill, easily look up clients and their balances owed.
As a one person therapist operating a private practice, this software has been invaluable in providing a concise database of all clients, statements, diagnosis and treatment.
I do not use half the features so I would prefer a reduced price based on the number of features used. Overall, great product at reasonable price.

Excellent from the beginning. Very caring patient individuals work for MCP. It's cost effective to use and relatively easy to use remotely from any device or computer.
It is fairly easy to use, the best aspect is the customer support. It is available and extremely helpful for the busy therapist running a private practice.
Nothing, maybe adapting to changes, but there are always options and lots of warning before any changes occur. I would like to be able to control my own data backups. That is one aspect that i would appreciate having and is important to me.

Easy to use, affordable, provides everything you need to run a small practice from a calendar to electronic claims to notes.
It is very easy to use especially the billing portion which seems to be set up with a therapist in mind and not an accountant or billing specialist. One click on the EOB and everything is filled in on the claim for the insurance portion. If needing a secondary filing, that is just one click also. I like the color coding for different types of appts. and a To Do list. The layout has been recently updated and looks nice and easy to navigate.
I wish there was an easier way to correct a mistake. At times I have messed on and needed to correct a claim or payment but to do this you have to delete the service and then start all over. Progress notes could use some improvement such as clicking on a session to complete a progress notes populates that progress note with information from the session such as date and time of session as well as session code. Also wish it had a report for missing progress notes.

Overall once you get it going and figure out ERA sign ups it’s easy. Recommended to two at mr practice. They love it
The fact that it has so much insurance panels in the site and no additional sign ups
1. Wish it had the Wiley progress notes in it and not just treatment plans. 2. Wish we could sign up as a group with individual tax ids. Many others offered this but not my clients plus.

It was a good product for a practice that saw 2-3 clients/month, but as I grew, it became pretty obsolete. Adding a client portal required an extension with Jituzu, which was pretty terrible.
The price. I used it for a very small, very part-time practice mostly to have a paper trail for about a half dozen clients should they want receipts for payment.
The PT notes were pretty disorganized, and you sort of had to take a trial and error approach to make sure you got a note that applied to your session.

I am a clinical social worker in private practice and rely on this service for all my billing which has always been fast and accurate.
The software is very clean and simple to use, the price is cheap for what you get, if there is ever a mistake it has always been on the payer side and support has always been personal, fast and accurate. I would never dream of switching (I looked at 3 or 4 programs before choosing this one)
I didn't like the new user interface but they kept the other one as a choice, so very happy. It is amazing users were not forced to switch.

Need to integrate the electronic clinical record with electronic billing and revenue tracking . Great support. Software too complex to learn in two week trial window, and my initial experience with supporting software downloads indicated that to use it in the practice would take hours of learning- more than this busy practice can afford- and would be much more expensive than advertised

I needed a lot of instruction to develop a progress note treatment plan, and needed additional software subscriptions to write a diagnosis and bill electronically

I always had an excellent experience with MyClients Plus. I had help with several billing issues that were resolved promptly.
I have been using MyClinetsPlus for my billing practice. It is easy to use and they have the best customer service. When you call for help you get immediate solutions from a super friendly staff.
There is nothing negative to report about this software at this time.

The customer support is truly exceptional- the support personnel are incredibly patient, knowledgable, competent and capable. I am a 1 person private practice business and I love MyClients. Filing with insurance is easy. I typically have few problems with being paid. I highly recommend!
It is so easy to use and if I am struggling at all, the customer service team responds very quickly!
I really have not had any problems. The only feedback that would help is if a claim is rejected a notification when I sign I would be very helpful.

My Clients Plus allows me to streamline all of my billing, patient information, and client notes in a way that simplifies my practice so that I can dedicate more time to my clients.
Very user friendly- the site walks you though all of the steps you need to get started in addition to problem solving tips. The Customer Service Team is truly fantastic. I have called before with some ridiculously vague issue ("I'm on this page and I'm trying to click on the thingy but nothing's happening") and the team is quickly able to figure out why I'm having trouble and are able to help me able to resolve it. They are incredibly responsive, patient and knowledgeable about the product.
Occasionally, it takes a long time to load when I am trying to save a note or perform some of the function.

I've used MCP for many years, and was first introduced to is when I moved from a practice with a (cumbersome) billing system into my own practice. I've also shared it with several others who have started their own practices. In addition, I've used it for demonstration purposes with masters level students enrolled in a business for therapists class. The customer service folks are knowledgeable, as well as friendly and professional. I also appreciate how quickly they respond.
I like the combination of ease of use and richness of the site. It is very user-friendly and intuitive - even someone who hasn't had a lot of experience can get started pretty quickly.
I don't like that two users (even with different log in names) can't be on at the same time; the newly signing on person boots the other user off.

MC+ is very easy to use, intuitive, and comes with an amazing number of options to choose from when managing clients. These options have allowed me and my business to make good strides toward "greener" practice -- cutting a lot of need for printing.
There is no way to customize or create templates for forms. The existing templates are decent, but I would really prefer a way to create my own.

As insurance companies make more demands on therapists, PT Pro updates the software to make their job easier. Updates are frequent and relevant. The software is accessible from any computer without needing a software installation. The help desk is always available via phone or email. We have never been left alone.
As a platform that is shared across all clients, sometimes a change that is required for one client may not be beneficial to another.

Overall, Practice Pro offers an array of documentation, scheduling, billing, etc. options all in one place. It is easy to find all relevant information and documentation about a given patient/client once you figure out how to navigate the system.
Overall, PracticePro is a too busy and difficult to navigate. There are too many document options, some of which convey the same information, so it should be pared down to be simpler and easier to find. The reports don't quite fit how I would like to convey evaluation information about clients/patients, so I end up using my own report templates.

I like the system but it's not financially worthwhile for smaller practices. I consider making a change from this EMR because of the excessive cost and fees. It's a more robust system than many out there but the patient portal is clunky and needs more features. Customer service is quick to respond when issues arise.
The interface is perhaps more complicated than other EMR systems and you need ongoing training to maximize the features available - many that you won't use and others that take a long time to customize, however the reports and templates are very helpful. Customer service is responsive.
Practice Pro is one of the most expensive EMR systems when you add up the annual fees, $1 per visit charges plus $ per claim, $ per location. The system can be overwhelming and it requires extensive staff training. The patient portal needs updating to accommodate for annual forms, uploading of patient insurance directly into the system.

Our company's overall experience with Practice Pro has been exceptional. The software has allowed our company to grow. The reporting in Practice Pro has made it easier for us to assess our metrics so that we can make adjustments to our scheduling and outcomes in order to improve our customer satisfaction profitability.
We have been using Practice Pro software for ten years now. As a member of the team which made the decision to purchase the software, I was extremely pleased with the ease of implementation and transitioning our company to its use. The software is very versatile and adaptable. It is the most user friendly software I have used or administered in my twenty plus years as the Office Manager for a Physical Therapy facility with seven different locations. The support has been exceptional. The team at Practice Pro are continuously developing new features in the software and they are very pro-active in adding features in advance of any regulation changes.
Probably the only complaint I have received about the software over the years is that there are too many updates to the software which staff need to become oriented to.

We like the ability to customize this software to meet the needs of our clinic. We like that we can add all of our fee schedules for different insurance companies, thus giving us what our actual receivables will be instead of what we billed. That was the major selling point for us.
It seems that they need more employees to do customer service. The initial setup period is a bit extensive, but in the end, it helps to get the system customized to what you want. Expect to have your team ready to help set everything up. Plus, we were unaware that the monthly billing is lumped together for three months, and you are required to pay this in advance. The yearly service fee is also asked for in advanced.

Upon initial hiring my practice pro training date was not until 2 weeks into the start of my employment. Thanks to Practice Pros ease of navigation I self taught myself the program and how to assess necessary documents and information in the first 5 days. If that doesn't attest to the ease of usability of this program then I don't know what does.
I love the large icons at the top of the page that make navigation between screens very easy as well as ability to access future appointment, appointments past, electronically attached files, and patient information. Everything is in view and assessable from almost any location in the program.
My only issue with the use of Practice Pro is that it frequently requires maintenance and updates which interfere with my ability to document. Most recently we have had issues with the west coast servers which severely interferes with our ability to do our work.

Overall, the support is excellent and the product meets my needs.
I really like the ease of scheduling, being able to make reoccurring appointments appear on my schedule and easily having access to my notes.
There are a lot of functions that it does that I have no idea about or there are not a lot of trainings to help with. I would love it to be easier to see billing and not have 5 different ways to access different information. I wish it was all in one place.
