Very poor migration experience, multiple issues not resolved

The product has a lot of potential, particularly relating to automating routine reminders, etc. Patient photos function is very useful

Cons

There are significant issues around the medical history section, which for some reason cannot be removed from the iPad when a patient is given same, to complete a consent form. I consider it dangerous, that a patient can click into and alter their medical history - that is alter their medical record. There is no ability to create and email a Word document or PDF from within the system. We are required...

Pabau EMR Review

Excellent system, Excellent response time. The recorded Zoom training videos are extremely helpful to go back and re watch them later.

Pros

I purchased this product for my med spa recently and find that its one of the best I have seen. Its easy to use and customer service through the entire set up has been excellent. I am located in the United States and they have done a fantastic job at making adjustments to accommodate the United States medical system and requirements. I would highly recommended this system. Cost is fair and this program has many features included that others companies seem to charge extra for. I have used many EMR programs in a variety of settings as a healthcare provider and this one is at the top of the list! Great job Pabau!

Cons

The only issue I had at first were some of the forms needed to be adjusted to put the date of birth and year in the order we use in the states as compared to UK. My issues were quickly resolved when I discovered them in the system.

Absolutely horrific

We decided to go with Pabau because it was the cheapest option at the time and was also more geared toward medical spas and IV therapy. We met with our Pabau account manager weekly to work toward implementing Pabau with our operations. However, we ran into problem after problem after problem. There were bugs, glitches, changes weren't saving, and we could not complete simple tasks. The interface, while...

Pros

Pabau offers a lot of features (this is the biggest pro) and it is more geared toward medical spa and IV therapy.

Cons

There are a TON of glitches and bugs. Our account manager was not available and rarely responded to emails. They did warn us about bugs and glitches, however, we could not implement or use this software WHATSOEVER with our operations. We switched to Mangomint (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and were able to implement Mangomint in ONE DAY (just a few hours). Mangomint is also cheaper than Pabau. After switching to Mangomint, we did $1,700 in sales our first day launching our company. It's embarrassing when our Pabau account manager was unable to show us how to do things with the software, because even he ran into bugs and glitches.

Pabau software does most things well

It does most of what we need from a CRM but definitely still have records we are having to keep outside of the software. Would have preferred a white label service rather than each step my patients take to have Pabau labelling all over it. Customer support is below par. Should have a live chat or phone line to call. A lot of training videos are on a Vimeo account that isn't shared with you at implementation,...

Pros

A lot of features. Before and after pictures A lof of templates to choose from. Support team willing to integrate any pdf form and help customise to your brand

Cons

Customer support not always accessible. Would have preferred a dedicated number to call, opening hours etc. A lot of communication is via email or a request for a call back. Not suitable when the software isn't responding or you need quick fixes. Price is on the expensive side especially since you will need to pay Pabau extra subs for more staff, sending texts, marketing functions & Api integrations Ipad necessary for patient journeys function

We moved away from phone-based support (though do still escalate to this when required) to a live chat feature because our data showed it to be a more effective method of supporting our customers. However, we will consider if there is a better way of making sure our customers know this support exists. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is an excellent at his job and as part of the Onboarding Team he takes his role very seriously and was available at all times I got stuck - Thank you so much

Pros

Pabau is a complete practice management application and its right up our street - does what it says on the box and more. and love the features on the application, Very good online security and can manage all the services from one page, and the patient management is superb.

Cons

They need to intergrate other online payment option as STRIPE and our current provider means we have to cost to meet - yes I can cancel the other but we have a better deal with the current provider

Has great potential, but riddled with expensive bugs. Hoping Pabau 2 is better

System has great features, but cumbersome and riddles with bugs . Tempted to switch to another system, but am hoping they get right with Pabau 2.0. I'm hoping Pabau 1.0 was a learning curve and they'll deliver a new system with less expensive and frustrating bugs.

Loads of terrific features. Loads of potential

Cons

Riddled with software bugs, particular the financial side. Invoicing, credit notes & vouchers. I've suffered financial losses as result.

Middle of the road

Pros

Booking in is very easy on an ipad, but some discrepancies between what we do on the ipad and computer so we have to use them both together

Cons

Having to use ipad and laptop to do different things with the system. Price is very expensive to add staff to your system. You can only email, no contact.

The good news is with Pabau 2 - our new system which is in the making, you will be able to do EVERYTHING across all devices! About the prices - we do believe that our prices are fair based on the number of users, the easiest way to reduce your cost is to reduce your user count. I can see support have also advised this. As a software, for its price is very good. They are improving however, there some issues that need to be resolved in order to be able to run a practice smoothly by using it.

Pros

The Client Journey on the app is very easy to use and efficient.

Cons

Sometimes, reports are not accurate. We had issues with commissions. Incidents with shifts/rotas disappearing. Difficult to apply discount at times. Sometimes, appointments were not visible on some devices.

The sytem

Pros

Booking service is easy to use, not the easiest system to navigate, I use the help videos a lot. The customer service is great and they always get back to you to resolve the issue.

Cons

The system is very expensive for what it is, compared to other software. I signed up to the system 4 years ago when I first opened the clinic, they was still working on the system them, I feel it should of been discounted while the system is still be developing, £150 not to much, between £60-£80 would be expected.

Probably it's accuracy in collecting data and cross-talk between different elements.

Cons

The app integration is absolutely low quality compared to the web version, I highly recommend the team to look into its improvement. Also payment integration options should be at least expanded to paypal or paypal related softwares.

Very positive.

Pros

Pabau does everything that it sets out to do with regards to the documentation and recording of treatments. However, where it excels is with the integrated marketing.

Cons

Difficult to use at first, but has become easier with practice and the customer support, which is fantastic.
