Pros
PointClickCare is always expanding upon its base product. The ease of use and beyond helpful transiting to all electronic is transforming the way we perform care.
The solution to help senior care facilities achieve.
Decreases medication errors which is very immportant. Very easy for a nurse to learn that has never used the software before.
Cons
The worst thing is the original set up. It is quite time consuming.
Occasional errors are found and system runs slow sometimes.
The platform itself can be a bit tricky to navigate. I was not given proper education on how to use it and found myself trying to self teach.

Pros

As a medical care association with branches that emphasis on differing patients, I'we have observed that PointClickCare is an "across the board" center for ourselves and really addresses our issues in all cases.

Cons

I can't say I have any doubts regarding utilizing/suggesting this product.

Overall it's evident that PointClickCare as a company CARES about providing a product that enables users to provide the best care possible of their patients/residents. The founders of the company lead by example and it shows.

Pros

As a healthcare organization with branches that focus on varying patients/settings (SNF/LTC/Home Health/Financial Services), we have found that PointClickCare is an "all-in-one" hub for us and truly meets our needs across the board. PointClickCare as a company has proven to be one that actually wants to hear from their customers, good or bad! Improvements & updates are continuously being made based on feedback we the users have given them. When an issue in the past was brought to their attention that doesn't have a quick fix, the PCC Customer Service Rep really dug in and helped us to find an interim work around while the issue was elevated. There was NO 'brush off', it was clear they wanted to be sure they understood where we were having trouble. We were heard.

Cons

I can't say I have any misgivings about using/recommending this software.

Love the MDS features.

Pretty well once I have used for a year. Wish the training at the start was more hands on.

Pros

The notification to take second looks at data imputed. The easy of the software with inputing data from reports to MDS. QM that data could affect notifications.

Cons

I wish you could put resident in room order when looking for a certain resident. I would like to be able to edit a progress not once I have locked. The training start up.

Pros

The emar is fairly straight forward if you’re just marking off your routine meds and tasks. Color coded system is in place to help you manage time. You are able to input orders received also.

Cons

The platform itself can be a bit tricky to navigate. I was not given proper education on how to use it and found myself trying to self teach. Some charting parts seem to be a bit trickier than what they really need to be but this may be more so because I’m still a newer user to this.

Charting/EMAR system

Overall the charting system is fairly simple to use and learn. No real complaints.

Pros

The EMAR function is easy to use, I like the color coded patient bars which makes prioritizing easier.

Cons

Like the name states its a lot of mouse clicks to get through to complete your charting. The UDA are a bit touchy sometimes.
