Pros

I liked the ability to create my own layouts and favorite encouters to be more efficient. Also like the feature where I can just duplicate previous notes and diagnosis.
I felt I received great personal attention from helpful trainers. Having an implementation coordinator is helpful to keep me on track during the entire process.
I believe it to be as good as any competitor for a fraction of the cost. It is generally pretty self explanatory and user friendly.

Pros

There are premade templates that are great, and provides awesome insight on how powerful the software really is. I frequently use their social media calendar, and the project list.
I like to see a whole month's worth of content at one time. It is also super helpful that one team member can upload content and another can download from a different location.
I love the low price-point and the amazing customer service they have, by far one f the most powerful low-cost database/spreadsheet tool out there.

Cons

It is even more frustrating when there is no solution to an error and you have to wait for a fix and put up with the errors until the fix comes out.
The SQL search function is difficult to use. Sometimes we have had troubles with the stability of the software - sometimes it crashes and you have to restart it.
The billing program has to be checked and often rebilled for missing claims. The drop down lists are not optometry specific and can be very tedious to find the right listing.

Cons

What I dislike most about this software is that I cannot type extended sentences in one box. Whenever I try to paste a long sentence or paragraph the words go into the rows beneath.
Some features around forms are notably missing and it is hard to integrate work-arounds.
It was a mess trying to get it set up. Initially it was set up with separate paid spaces and then trying to get everything onto an enterprise plan was a huge headache.

Excellent alternative for creating an organizational information system

It is the tool I selected to create the database of my academic research. Instead of using online forms and spreadsheets such as Survey Monkey or Google Sheets and Google Forms, I opted for Airtable.

Pros

Revolutionary way to build and manipulate databases. Very useful for creating information systems for internal corporate use, such as ERPs. Very good value for money. Practical, inexpensive and quick way to implement a system for internal use. Enough integrations with other tools.

Cons

Its database is being "controlled" by Airtable. It will not always be the best alternative. There are better solutions for the development of corporate databases and better solutions for the development of internal systems using no-code.

Incredibly versatile tool

We use it as a document managegement, sales enablement tool for our sales team. A PM tool and content management tool for our web development team (even have the information architecture in there). We use it a collaboration tool with our clients. Our digital marketing team uses for calender task management and reminders.

Pros

Airtable is used in multiple departments for completely different solutions. It is great to have one tool that is so incredivly versatile

Cons

A little harder for our less technical staff to set up but everyone benefits from systems solutions we set up using Airtable

I have been able to design the solutions to my business problems without learning to code.

Pros

I love the ease of use. Ive always been fascinates eith databases but have never known how to code a solution for my business needs. Airtable Solved that.

Cons

I need to create better dashboards with more graphs. I need to be able to export those geaphs or embed them somewhere else. The forms need improving and I needed to use Stacker as a front end solution for my employeea and clients.

I built a custom solution for tracking content ideas in less than hour.

Pros

The ability to rapidly deploy solutions that are useable on any platform, even my phone. Integration with Zapier, the ability to embed forms on websites, cross linking between databases, etc. The free platform is great . I've been deploying solutions for my clients left and right. They have an excellent rewards structure for referring clients.

Cons

I would like the ability to have more granular control over the experience. I'd like the ability to resell the solutions I create. I wish they had a more Filemaker like graphical interface design element. Inline code execution would also be great.

Overall, the UI is good which provides a great UX. It has the potential but to grow in the Indian market they need to cut their prices.

The plethora of functions that it offers is unbeatable and we get solutions that works for any issue that we are facing.

Overall, they continue to update and make changes and the product solves a lot of problems for creating more custom solutions.

Pros

There are tremendous possibilities with what looks like just a spreadsheet. It can be a little overwhelming to start but templates and online resources helped me learn what I could do.

Cons

It feels a little expensive to scale, with each seat being between $10-$20 a month depending, there were a few surprising bills.

What I like most about this software is how flexible it is in integrating with other apps/websites to capture data and displaying it in multiple ways which are all nice looking.

Cons

The pricing is a bit higher compared to similar solutions, and a bit hard to manage if you need to combine multiple databases or transform them into a single comprehensive dashboard.

Great solution for a database with powerful features

Been very good so far and integrated into services we use. Written some automation scripts to run every 15 min to update our table and its worked very well.

Pros

The powerful integration with many tools to allow more functionality like syncing a table with files from another service like cloud storages. Supports sprinting and running automations too. Also integrates with other services that can use the data you store.

Cons

It has a bit of a learning curve when trying to code your own solutions or automations using scripts and also takes time to learn how to get the most out of the service.

A real find! So much better than a standard spreadsheet

I was able to organise and manage multiple aspects of my business without having to resort to clunky yet restrictive software solutions or multiple spreadsheets. The tables work well.

Pros

It starts off free and you get a lot for that! I have a small but quite complicated business so being able to set up tables that are straightforward, easy to use and that deliver 90% of what I need is terrific. The views are well thought out, setting up formulas is easy and in the main it has been well thought out. Although I work mostly on my own, I can see how the team functionality would be really useful if I needed it.

Cons

This software feels very much as though it is a victim of its own success. There are several key features, like linking bases, offline access and dynamic sorting that really need attention but with the addition of its integration with Zapier you can probably get it to do an awful lot of what you do.

* lends itself well to building information tracking resources * simple data-driven layout * scalable project areas my operations team uses airtable to manage a lot of information flow and have converted complex tracking resources into the airtable format. the fact that we now utilize the app for a lot of these solutions is a testament to its immediate strengths. i enjoy how airtable doesn't necessarily force me into any specific workflow, which has been the major reason why other project management solutions don't work--everyone has a different philosophy around project management.

Setting up your first base is a breeze. There are multiple templates to help your team get up and going within minutes. The robust integration with Zapier opens up endless connections between other apps and services. The Airtable team is constantly building new features based on its users feedback.

Cons

I sometimes feel limited in how I can share or view my organizations data without having to export it to another application. However, I know the Airtable team is hard at work developing native solutions to address those shortfalls.

Flexibility! I love being able to have a calendar, kanban, timeline, visual gallery all in one. We use this for all our content planning and management. We tried so many solutions and this is what finally worked for us.

Cons

It has many features but at times it’s hard to know the best way to build things out, none of the templates for workbases were close enough to build off from. Wish it was easier to link information within different tabs in bases.

Pros

Airtable is intuitive, easy to use, and adapts well into any project that needs superb project management that's easy on the eyes.

Cons

Discovering pricing for enterprise solutions is not an easy process. When new features are rolled out and there's a seven day trial to test, that trial usually happens when there's no bandwidth in the daily demands . It'd be great to choose to implement the trial on our own terms.

Airtable has streamlined many of the tools that I use in our organization and boosted my capacity to communicate and share data visualizations or forms with stakeholders at all levels; Data filtering and visualization tools in Airtable take it to areas spreadsheets never have; it's a dynamic and powerful tool.

Pros

It's a really versatile system that provides us with several perspectives on the foundations, allowing us to oversee and track the team's development from a variety of places and settings. And a software platform that allows people to create the solutions they require to stimulate innovation and boost agility within their businesses.

Cons

I haven't found anything I despise yet. I'm in the process of transitioning from my current calendar system to Airtable, so it's a bit of a process, but that can't be avoided.

I would absolutely recommend this for many projects, it is fun and easy to set up and use. Perhaps keep the budget analysis for a typical spreadsheet or be prepared to deep dive into the documentation and creative solutions if you want to use Airtable for finances.

This database allows you to visualize, organize and track the progress of various projects in your personal and professional life. It is fully collaborative, so optimized for group or individual projects, complete with permissions. Although it is an awesome database, it is NOT a replacement for Excel for several functions. It resembles a spreadsheet, but you dont have full control over each cell, to format it as you wish. The formulas seem limited or more complicated in comparison to a traditional spreadsheet. You can' truly link databases or info between or within tables freely. Manipulating numbers becomes a bit awkward in some circumstances. However, these limitations may possibly improve with time and future upgrades. The more you understand how the software works, you may discover different ways to accomplish your functions on this new platform.

Pros

Overall, I love the look and feel of Airtable. I love that it has the strength of working in Excel but also provides additional solutions for collaborating as well as presenting data. I really enjoy the ease of including images in the rows, especially since this would not be possible in Excel. I also think it's easier to navigate and command for someone who is not familiar to all the tools of Excel. It's definitely a superior solution compared to Google Sheets.

Cons

So far, I dislike that users cannot customize access to different Airtable tables. I'm also anticipating when they will realize additional formula functions to expand how we compile and present our data.

Airtable

So many possible uses for every industry!

We are using it to manage event attendee data, prospects, membership sales, marketing assets, social media post schedules, and more. Its as easy to set up a new database tool as it is to set up a spreadsheet, but much, much more versatile. Since we can set up just the data fields we need, our customer relationship database, in contrast to traditional CRM solutions like Salesforce, Hubspot and Zoho, is easy to navigate and flexibly grows with our needs.

Pros

More than a spreadsheet on steroids, Airtable is a cloud relational database that opens possibilities for improved productivity, creativity, sales and more for companies large and small. Because it is based on number of records, small organizations can take it for a spin for free and grow into it. Need a new feature? chances are its in the works...one of the many benefits of SAAS. I've found it's formula fields and easy uploads to be invaluable in analyzing, prospecting, collecting relationship-building data, accounting and forecasting for my new and growing business and the local chamber I volunteer for.

Cons

Though based on records, as you add users the price can get quite high for data management, making its competition - a custom SQL database - a better priced option.

Airtable is a first of a kind database management tool that is simple enough for anyone to pick up and start using right away and yet powerful enough to provide useful solutions to small businesses.
