We benefit because the interface works so well with Open Practice Solutions
As a billing company the set up to interface with Practice Management software was with ease and it the only one that we interface with that works perfectly bi-directional. Also this software is user friendly. To check Meaningful use with the reports is also done with ease.
I would say have the LMP date sent over with the patient charges would be so helpful for my OB/GYN group.

I have excellent experiences with Sevocity EHR. The customer service support is great.
The Sevocity EHR is a very good product that gives a medical practice a foot up when dealing with CMS compliance standards.
Sevocity EHR is a great product, however, the cost is a major factor that hinders most customers when it comes to the purchase.

I would recommend Sevocity to any medical practice that is seeking to acquire compliance with CMS.
Navigating the system is very simplistic. The templates are developed to work with the practice's specialty.
It is clear to see why Sevocity is considered to be one the top medical software on the market, but the cost of this software will have others looking for different options.

I had used 3 different EHR software programs at other practices. When I opened this practice 10 years ago I evaluated and compared Sevocity to the others and found it to be intuitive to use clinically and functions seamlessly with our practice management software.
all of the above and web based server! Also, it makes EHR incentive reports easy to do.
If the internet goes down we can't access our charts. Fortunately that is infrequent.

HIPAA complaint EHR
It has lots of options for easy customization, good customer support, clear instructions of how to use and integrate with other clincis/ labs/ imaging, ease of use, and is HIPAA compliant
Price for start up fees and price per user monthly fee. Too expensive for a small clinic. We will have to stick with Practice Fusion or charm instead.

Sevocity came recommended to us as so did other EMR, all of the local physicians went with another EMR { E-C.....Wor..} we went with Sevocity and we are so glad we did. Most of the other offices want to change and we have given them the Sevocity site to contact... They will not be disappointed
The Support... I have called as late at 10 oclock EDT and was able to either get a question answered or they have logged in with me and fixed my problem , then took the time and explained what we may have done wrong... Love the support
I wish they had a way of us detecting who has not been to our practice in the past 12 months, they have a recall but doesnt work for us!!

Sevocity is geared toward more general practitioners. However, we are a neurology practice and require more neurology-specific templates in order for us to be more efficient.

We find that most providers (and in particular, specialists), prefer templates that are customized to them and therefore this is our normal implementation process. However, standard templates are available for most specialties and we would be happy to load these for you (and further modify as you wish) at no additional charge. Sevocity is easy to customize to meet the unique requirements of any practice type. It is very user friendly which makes it less of a daunting task to train new employees.
Sevocity is easy to navigate through, yet effective at internal communication between provider and staff.
Software updates, although necessary, do not always run as smoothly as one would hope.

There is not enough space on a screen to see the details for every day, however days with one or more appointments are highlighted and you can click on any date to see the individual appointments for that date. I am a nurse practitioner at a pain clinic that utilizes Sevocity on a daily basis. It is suitable for a small practice and easily utilized by practitioners and scribes alike. Medication prescription is straightforward, and communication among staff is efficient.
The ease of medication prescription and ability to tailor to specialty.
It is a little difficult to create templates.

This product gives our physicians some ability to customize chart layout to fit our practice specialty. Training went smoothly but availability and times of day that trainers were available was somewhat limited. Overall our experience to this point has gone well with no major issues.

Always discovering new features that are extremely useful and user-friendly. I have recently been given more Administrative access and find it an easy learning curve and the support is superb. Looking forward to expanding my usage of the system in our growing practice.
Ability to generate specific reports and review quickly. User-friendly. Ability to access multiple patient related report features. Ease of adding and uploading documents.

Overall a great product. On the rare times, I have a problem. Customer Support is easy to get in touch with and very knowledgeable. We are a specialty practice; some of the features can't be tweaked for us but overall we are happy with the program.

We converted from paper charts to EHR and have been extremely happy. When we needed to switch our practice management over they were extremely helpful. This system is efficient, affordable, and very customer friendly. They were able to accommodate the special needs we had for psychiatry.

ease of moving from section to section of chart note: eg from ROS to HPI good support staff
-mild complication in billing when a procedure and distinct E/M occur on the same visit -needs more efficient podiatric friendly charting -very difficult to find appropriate ICD 10 codes- often times need to go to the internet or another soft wear that I use in another practice - medication reconciliation is cumbersome and creates congested chart notes

My overall experience with sevocity has been good. Costumer support is usually very helpful and quick at responding back. Also very receptive to making updates when needed. It is also very user friendly as far as being able to modifier the templates our selves to make it fit our practice.
I like the ease of adding and modifying templates. Also setting up favorites that we use often.
It takes to long to get a provider set up in sevocity with prescriptive authority. To many steps involved. Wish once the provider was activated that was it.

The salesperson made his pitch he STATED that I would have a 60-day trial. No mention of 100 encounters must be made within the 60 day period which included training time. It was imperative to sign up before the end of the year to avoid start-up costs. If I was not satisfied with the product all of my money would be returned. He also assured me that the program would be customized to fit the needs of my practice. NEITHER of these is true. It was a complete misrepresentation of the facts. This is not a program for Doctors starting a practice. The program was NOT customizable, and there was NO SUCH THING as a money back guarantee.

Our office has come from eMDs and Praxis EMR systems. In addition, we have reviewed many other systems before we made the transition to the next EMR. Based on that information I can say Sevocity is easily the best of them all. We are a family practice clinic and I would highly recommend Sevocity for any primary care doctor.
Easy to use and learn, takes very little time and effort to get up and running with it. Is tightly designed and compact. None of this modular approach, like there is a module for this function and yet another module for that function. Feature rich, easy to set up and customize to your liking.
Email feature bare bones, needs to function more like a real email system. But it is OK to work with, we use it a lot. During note creation, one can only access the prior note, not any other historical notes, a clear shortcoming in documentation. Sevocity uses Dr First as their e-Rx feature. While that system is not bad, Sevocity should insist to get more access to training resources from Dr. First. Training on Rcopia is spotty. With time and usage one can figure it out but an area that could be improved upon.

After just a couple of weeks my staff has transitioned with little frustration. A very nice change from eclinicals. We have used Athena and Eclinicals and for a small practice Sevocity by far blows them out of the water. the minor cons are nothing compared to the benefits and US based customer service we have received. Don't underestimate this small company.
I love the ease of use and the simplicity. It gets rid of all the unnecessary clicks and other things that complicate other EHRs. My charting is faster and I love the easy customization. EASY CUSTOMIZATION. Nice lab interface. Ordering made simple. Patient portal nice and not overally complicated. Minimal menus. Won't get lost in a sea of menu options. Staff loves it. Staff doesn't complain. Well laid out. I love the RCopia interface for eprescriping.
1.Can only open one encounter type at a time. They are addressing this now, hoping this won't be an issue soon. 2. ICD10 search not great but a quick google search will find it if you can't find it immediately on theirs. I foresee this being corrected in the future. I just add them to my favorites as I have to look them up so there are fewer and fewer each day to look up. Otherwise I have not found anything else I dislike.

Sevocity is the first EHR I used in my private practice and I have no plans to change. I have been very pleased with both the system and customer service. For the price, I really would have a hard time imaging a better product on the market. I recommend Sevocity to anyone interested in a terrific balance between a highly functional and highly affordable EHR.

I have been employed at this Family practice clinic for about one year and seven months. When I started I was introduced to Sevocity Electronic Health records. I was nervous about this due to working on different EHR at other clinics in the past and how long it took me to learn. There was definitely no reason to for me to be nervous because Sevocity EHR was no so easy to learn it and navigate. I am very satisfied .

We have been on Sevocity for just a little over 3 years. I must say there support has been exceptional. We have changed practice management systems twice but keeping our EHR with Sevocity. Sevocity was there and helped with the transition and hiccups that accured on the interfacing side that sometimes were not their problems. I know if I need anything I just send an e-mail or make a phone call. We stayed with Sevocity and could have easily changed when we changed PMS.
