Pros

I have referred three others because I am so impressed and enjoy using TheraNest. I researched and trialed others, and I am 100% happy with my decision to use TheraNest.
The best software connection this office has made a change to. The was of teaching the process to therapists to use for notes and to incorporate client details and billing all into one is wonderful.
I like how user friendly the software is. I like how easy it is to navigate, the training videos and the partnership with office Ally which makes the billing process easier.

Pros

Ease of use, excellent customer service, polite and courteous customer service reps, looks and feels like a standard paper chart, simple user intuitive interface.
Ease of use and ability to use out of the box are the best features. They remain as the best features.
Besides how great the actual software is they integrate with some top notch companies. Really a great tool to keep your office running.

Cons

Ours is not a therapy practice, but private pay recovery coaching for people with mental illness. So some of the incredible insurance billing features are wasted on us.
There is not the option to put handouts, assignments into folder for clients to access. You have to send them back and forth which clients complained was inconvenience.
This has caused me undue stress and dollars...and they have been very callous and offered no-compromise position. I complained too much, and therefore, they got rid of me.

Cons

Since we switched to the on-line version, we haven't had a crash, but internet problems have made life difficult at times.
Be aware of lack of accountability. Check other EMR's - what you pay is what you get.
It uses some templates, but using a macro to insert common sentences is difficult.
