I appreciated the fact that the sales team did not hound me to subscribe to the plan. The rep was friendly and to the point. I have only had one occasion to contact the support team and they were very responsive (no waiting on hold, received a callback within 15 minutes). The support rep was understanding and did not make me feel like I should have known the answer or that I was bothering her with such a simple question (which it was). I wish I had done this years ago!
This is a very easy software to navigate. I am not very "technologically minded" and I had no trouble with this software! Also, the transition from my old software to Theranest was seamless.
Nothing yet! I have no complaints. The software does what it says and I have not experienced any issues at this point.

I find this software so beneficial because it offers so much. For users new or old there is always new information being shared. They offer so many new resources for beginners.

Overall it was just fine, but it just wasn't as good as some of the other types of software.
I liked the way that TheraNest organized their display and my clients did as well. It was relatively user friendly
This software did not have many of the features that the software that I ended up choosing had. I would have had to use other programs as well in order to have all of the features that I have now with my current software.

Wonderful.
I am just as impressed with the staff at theranest as I am with the software. Your pride & confidence in the software shows.
Not having a "One Stop Covers All" Report. I would like to be able to pull all data when it comes to billing on clients. Complicated request, I understand. But with the option of downloading stats into an excel format, I could choose the needed data for my reports easily enough. Which would speed up the process for me. Whether it be an individual client or all clients.

The best online scheduling software that is available to us in Asia.
It is oriented to my profession - mental health care. It has most of the functionality that our company needs: - appointment scheduling - room booking that prevents double booking, a must for us because we have 9 staff sharing 3 offices - invoice/receipt generation is easy - International user friendly, we are in Hong Kong - has the necessary features for managing the financial side of the business - appointment reminder features, easily editable reminder message - TN consistently add useful features to help with the business, e.g. custom forms, improved ease of use of the software - integration with other calendars - color coding for staff, ease of identifying each other on the master calendar - staff permissions feature - customer support has been excellent from the beginning
- staff permissions can be item selectable rather than group together in the basic five categories - basic navigation still needs some touch-up - mobile app needs an update - need to expand the list of reports that can be generated or permit selectable items to be generated for a report

Billing, HIPAA compliant software, scheduling and note taking and auto client reminders.
Over all I like the all-in-one features. I'm not having to go outside of Theranest for any of my administrative needs. I've run into some issues on my part, e.g. not understanding a function however the CSR support is aways friendly and patient to walk me through it. :)

The ease with tele therapy and inexpensive cost. Some clients seem to find it difficutlt to initially log on, however. I suspect they may not be entirely reading instructions, however.
Software is very user friendly and intuitive.
Some of the add-on features are more complex. Billing and credit card processing. The training when taken a while ago seemed to move too fast. Seems training is now mostly on-demand type components. Help can be delayed at times (I suppose this is due to COVID-19, but not absolutely sure.) Some of the modules with casework seem incomplete. Creating treatment plans for instance - - it is difficult to update the plans. Only option is to add addendums.

I have enjoyed using theranest because of its ease of use, efficient billing capacity and easy to use and read documentation.
User friendly, useful features, easy to read software
Can't "save" the customized client grid on home page. The reconciling payments process seems like it could be more efficient and streamlined rather than multiple steps.

I love that this software is tailored for Mental Health providers. Everything you need be it specific codes or procedures for mental health is already in the software.
I would like for the software to be a little more streamlines and not so clunky looking. It's a little hard to maneuver through.

I have less paperwork to store in my home office. Having the option to purchase the Wiley series for treatment planning and progress notes make the day to day paperwork less daunting and faster to complete.
The software is very easy to set up and navigate.
There are a few functionality features that would be beneficial to have but they're not available as of yet.

Customer service kills it for me since that's really important in the technology world.
The software is incredibly user friendly and easy to learn.
Their customer service is awful. If you call the 1-800 number you won't ever get a live person. It's always a voicemail and they will call you back within 24 hours. You better not be with a client or in a meeting when they call back because then you have to call the 1-800 # back again, leave a message, and then wait another 24 hours. Once you actually get a person they won't ever be able to help. They will have to send it onto their "tech" team. The people are always incredibly nice and friendly, but rarely any help. There are no alert features in this program either.

I have been using TheraNest over three years and as soon as I started looking elsewhere as my practice began to grow, new features were created that are in the lane of what we need. I’m likely not going elsewhere for a long time.
This software/company grows as you do. They are constantly working to create and implement new features and listening to their users for ways to make the software more fluid for our businesses.
Customer support can feel a bit overwhelmed and the new clearinghouse has some major kinks to work out but still value for the money.

i don't like that I am unable to speak with a customer service representative when I have a problem. I don't like having to schedule an appointment when it is a quick question. I called a number that stated that I can speak with a live person but no one was there. That was very frustrating. As a business person I don't like having to spend most of my day waiting to speak with someone especially if it's something special.
I like that I can integrate my information from my Excel spread sheet. I like that I can schedule my clients on the software. I like that I can bill from the software.
I like that I can integrate my information from Excel however the process to do it is time consuming. I don't like that I can't upload my clinical assessment into Theranest, I will have to create my assessment all over again. I don't like when I am completing my notes it takes awhile before I can get rid of the suggested words. I also don't like that I can't upload my company intake information. I have fill and sign Adobe documents but I can't upload it for my clients to go into a portal and fill out the intake forms. I don't like how the phone APP works. It is hard to see the appointments. I think the minimum caseload should allow us to have at least 40 clients instead of 30.

I am teaching myself how to utilize the software. a manual would be helpful. I would eventually like to expand and utilize the software for self billing. I have no idea how to even begin to learn how to utilize the billing portion of this software. It would be helpful to have someone come to me and help me learn. Unfortunately my schedule is such I would have to get help on a weekend

Nothing, this software system has been clunky and difficult to use
The billing support specialist had me change a bunch of settings and it resulted in me not getting paid. I won’t get $3k-$5k in 2019 because of their errors and they refuse to help get it solved. No one picks up the phone. I’m livid.
