Pros

Customer support is great, not a software that we will recommend to other practices that reach out to us inquiring software that is the best for their practice.
Customer support is superb, especially compared to the practice management software we were using prior. Therapy Notes constantly improves and updates, adding both free and paid features.
Billing is so easy and it gives you billing at your finger tips, it is user friendly and the staff is awesome on assisting if you are not sure how to utilize all the features.

Pros

Netsmart is constantly improving their product and has made it possible for us to move forward and successfully receive "Meaningful Use" stimulus dollars to help pay for our EHR initiatives.
I have used other systems and all are better. I cannot even say it is reliable.
The home viewing screen is use friendly, When the user sees the screen for the first time, It it makes you comfortable for training, simplistic as opening up a paper chart.

Cons

I am struggling with it, at this time however, because I am having to (at 53 y.o) learn how to do my own billing and am often lost in these very spooky woods alone.
I have 2 complaints having used one of TherapyNotes competitors at my previous practice. One, I miss having an app on my phone.
One more complaint: I have been a psychologist for over 25 years.

Cons

The upgrade from MyAvatar to MyAvatarNX was actually worse. The software is so bad that it demoralized me to the point of looking for different employment after 7 years.
To give you an idea of how bad it is, the software would often crash while in the middle of using it with a client/patient.
Daily despair, progressing more recently to potentially life-threatening arrhythmias. Seeing patients while documenting and looking for data concurrently is a torturous burden.
