Their pricing algorithm (which is essentially the entirety of their service) proved to be poor for our properties. They priced us either obscenely high or way too low.

Overall, Lodgix has been a very useful tool for us in managing our vacation rentals. We would definitely recommend the product and service if you need a rental management software that delivers results and is very user friendly.

Pros

The simplicity of adding rental properties and being able to manage them in a single place. The software features many components. You can automate messages to guests, integrate key entry methods, it has fillable and blank document tools, and so much more.

Cons

The cost was a little bit more than some of the other options out there. They do appear to have solid customer service above and beyond their competitors. Unfortunately, that comes with additional cost.

Lodgix has dramatically improved the way we interact with our guests.

From day one, the Lodgix team has been so willing to help us set up and use the software. If we ever have a question, we know they are just a phone call or online chat away and that they will go above and beyond to help us get the most out of the software. The automation within Lodgix has allowed us to free up valuable staff time to work one on one with guests on property. This helps our guests feel valued and increases guest satisfaction.

Pros

The Lodgix Software is so easy to use. We use it in all aspects of our Resort from online reservations, guest documents, housekeeping, and accounting. Every time I stop in our front office one of our reservationists tells me how much they love Lodgix and how much it has simplified their job. All the information we need about our guest experience is located in one program. Plus, the online help manual is great and the help team is always quick to respond to any questions or set up a tutorial to teach us how to better use the software.

Cons

In our previous system, we charged a separate daily resort fee to guests. Lodgix does not currently have the capability to add on a daily resort fee, so we have had to find a work around.

Best software and customer service

This software program is the real deal. From the initial contact with Brent and his company I knew I was going to be pleased. He went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The software does everything I need it to do and more. The software is easy to navigate and to understand. I love the plugins that were added to our website to make it look clean and easy to read. We have been using the software for a while now and have not had any issues. Brent and his company respond to emails in rapid response time and honestly we feel so lucky to have found such a great software company.

Intuitive reservation system with the best customer support I have ever experienced!

The mobile and online versions of Lodgix are the easiest most intuitive systems available. I reviewed several other reservation software products and Lodgix won with ease. I have never used this type of software before nor did I have experience in the vacation rental business so I knew I would need customer support and Lodgix has gone way above and beyond my expectations! We use several of the modules including the digital signature module. Each time we added a module and as our business has grown we have had great experiences with the training provided by Lodgix. The documentation is also very complete and helpful. If you are looking for reservations software just STOP right now and sign up with Lodgix. You will be very happy you did.

I have only been using Lodgix for 3 months now and have found it a life saver! Getting started was fairly easy. There is a learning curve in some areas but mostly it is common sense. I have often peppered online chat with questions and their response was very good, no matter if it was 2pm or 2am. I have found customer service to be not only open to suggestions for improvement, but surprisingly...

Pros

This ability to fully integrate Homeaway/VRBO, TripAdvisor/Flipkey and Booking.com has been great...AND...ICAL syncing with just about everyone else!

Cons

Take your time to get to know all of the functions. You will be happy that you did.
