I use 2 programmes to run my apartment rentals. The property is in South Africa and I was going to discontinue using Bookerville as it is unable to update my calendar on the marketing sites that I use in South Africa. 
However, the other property management tool that I use does not have the auto e-mail capability of Bookerville and this is such a vital part of efficiently communicating with guests. In fact I would say it is the most essential part of the property management.


Great Product and Service

The ability to manage our rental property with very limited manual involvement.  The typical rental sites have very limited functionality and reporting.  This software fills the big gaps left from those rental sites.

Great experience.  Invaluable for syncing multiple calendars with VRBO and FlipKey.

Excellent Product

Pros- Very easy to use, great customer service, all the functionality required for Property Management and if not, the team are always working to make it better.
Cons- presently not responsive to various viewing sizes/devices i.e tablet and smartphone are the same viewing. 

Great for Small Business owners

I have friends who were planning a new condo property management business and they asked me to help them find the easiest to use and lowest cost booking software. Bookerville won as they charge by the property and they are easy to use. Their online video tutorials were helpful as I learned to use the system.  Not only does Bookerville integrate with the usual listing services, but they also give the multiple property manager a "hotel front desk" experience with the scheduling interface that lets you search for open properties on specific dates. As someone else mentioned, John Amato is quick to answer any questions. We are happy campers with this service!

Excellent Tool for the Price

I recently purchased a 7 unit B&B whereby the previous owner/manager utilised a very user unfriendly and expensive short term rental property management software. After countless hours  of my time being consumed to perform even the simplest of property reservation and reporting tasks , I set upon looking for something better.  I evaluated close to 15 online vacation rental management software applications before choosing Bookerville, and have never looked back.  Bookerville ideally suits my reservation, online payment, state tax and income tracking needs. It is simple to use yet contains a high number of very useful features, making it perfect when managing single or multiple unit vacation rentals.  The customer support team is responsive and the price is affordable.  I highly recommend Bookerville to anyone managing short term rental properties.

Bookerville is amazing. As a vacation rental property owner, I used to spend a lot of time coordinating the bookings for our guests. Bookerville has changed all of that. It allows our guests to see available dates and book them, all without multiple phone calls/emails. I am able to quickly and easily set rates and automatically send emails to our guests and cleaning staff. All of this has made my life much easier, freeing me up for other property management duties. Streamlined my entire department

I have been using Bookerville for nearly 2 years.  In that time I have seen many progressive changes on the platform and while it doesn't offer everything I need it provides 90% of the functionality.   For the owner/property manager you will find the software relatively intuitive and with integrations to channel managers you can get visibility that the big guys have.  Certainly a recommend for me.

Great for the Small Guys...

I am a VR owner and manage it myself.  Bookerville was very easy to set up and when I had a question, John and his team were very responsive.  Bookerville provides everything I need to manage my property myself including auto-response emails, scheduled emails to my cleaning crew and monthly reports (for transoccupancy tax and vacancy reporting).  I don't have a dedicated website for my rental anymore, but I don't need one. I use a couple of the popular VR websites and I can sync my calendar with those.  The only drawback is that some of the VR sites now make it very hard to respond to inquiries or book outside of their system. In some cases, Bookerville has a work around for that, but in some cases not.  I use this for just one property but I can see that the features Bookerville offers would be valuable for management companies that manage several properties. And the price is right too!  I would recommend Bookerville to single VR owners or management companies.

Overall a valuable tool for our business eliminating the need for multiple tools to do the same thing.

Bookerville for Small Business

I have been using this software for the last four years for a single vacation property I own.  Every feature that I needed was in the software plus many features I never used.  It does make it possible for a typical owner to manage rentals without going through a rental agency.  The annual subscription fee has gone up by 32% over the last 3 years.  They should offer a lower price version with less features for those with only one property.  Wasn't planning on renewing for the fifth year unless I get a better rate.   

Useful, But Expensive.  

This otherwise excellent customer (we love you Stephen!) is unhappy that we were gradually raising prices on older (grandfathered) accounts. But the price we offered him is still less than half the current rate, which is itself well below our competition's pricing, per our research.

I wanted to look for some room while on vacation, and bookerville just did the job. I was curious to see how it manages for owners, and my surprise was that it is super complete. I'm really recommending this software to big owners of properties or hotels.

I have been using Bookerville for the last 3 years. It replaces the need to go through a real estate company to manage the property.  It is a great value for the price.  The menus are a little hard to navigate around and could be busy. However, that is the only criticism that I have.
