Pros

Any time we needed help, the online chat was right there to help us. I am grateful for the customer service we have from Hoteligix.
So with help of API, these became possible. As per our requirement HX had supported us with best hospitality support.
Support is provided by a 24hr help desk. We are finding the product robust and simple to implement with responsive support staff and rapid problem resolution.

Pros

RDPWin has been very pleasant, it is a user friendly product- which can improve business performance and with the right time spent with the customer service- can improve efficiency.
I liked the ability to put notes virtually everywhere, and it was very easy to keep track of guest issues within the software. Inventory was accurate and the check in process is seamless.
Ve been using RDP for approx 13 years and it's generally a solid, reliable platform. It's easy to us and offers comprehensive reporting and custom reporting should you require some speific data.

Cons

I recently missed a payment while i was away from the office, without any warnings they blocked my account.
The inability to change the status of a booking as arrived, departed, etc. Without doing the night audit is extremely frustrating and inconvient.
Bad conductivity with some ota’s, we have to contact directly with them.

Cons

It's terribly slow to use in multi-station environments on a network. The reporting is awful and impossible to customize; there are tons of reports, but few of them are what you would want or need.
My only complaint is that it is sometimes hard to get a hold of the salesforce. I do realize the sales team is small, but emails and phone calls can go unanswered for days and sometimes weeks.
I take issue with the fact that RDP charges for "training sessions" and they are extremely expensive (training should be part of the purchase of and upgrades to the software).

Hotelogix

It's features are comparable to any desktop PMS and better than all the cloud-based PMS I have used!

We are able to better report our daily revenues, better track an accurate average daily rate. We find the night audit function to be very useful to promote security of the data for passed reservations and revenue reporting. The Housekeeping module really helps with cleaning of the room on time and the POS is very helpful for guests incidentals and room charges.

Pros

In terms of functionality, ease of use, reporting, reservations management, Hotelogix's Property Management System cloud-based system is comparable to many non-cloud based (desktop) PMS such as RDPWin, Opera Lite, etc., and I have used most of the big desktop system and many cloud-based systems. I love the following features of Hotelogix's PMS. - Front Desk Check-in and Check-out process is easy...

Cons

No primary cons for me, except that the graphics of the Booking Engine could be improved and larger to fit screen for ease of viewing.
