Pros

It is very thorough in all aspects of the process from guests management to payments to confirmations.

Cons

If Resnexus could fix this issue, the monthly fees would be covered in Friday night bookings

ResNexus the best all around for campgrounds

We had a website designed by them and they did a fabulous job.

Pros

ResNexus provides all you need for the operations of your campground. Online bookings, point of sale system, websites, and the reports are amazing for management.

Cons

Some features need to be added to adhere to new standards with COVID-19, but they are actively working on it and always take feedback and suggestions for improvement.

ResNexus Saves The Day

The ResNexus reservation system integrated seamlessly with our website and card processing.

Pros

It allows you to manage front desk, housekeeping, sales and reporting activities with a single application.

Cons

Adding additional days/nights or retail items to an existing booking/reservation seems to be a little cumbersome at times.

I especially enjoy the training academy that they put on every year where many innkeepers can meet, network, learn and give feedback for the continuous improvement of this software.

ResNexus as Campground Practice Management System

Pros

Has the best functionality for our needs, user access permissions, mass text message capability, integrated newsletter and marketing capabilities (have not used marketing at this time due to setup delays), though, we are utilizing Thank You and Welcome emails which are implementing successfully, monthly recurring site billing functionality, reservations made by phone, list view or interactive map, minimum night settings per rental type, check-in efficiency (would like to see paperless form options, told this will be expanded soon), date blocks by rental types, reporting options overall, and the incorporation of point of sale.

Cons

1) Booking engine cannot default as interactive map for uses, 2) Processing fees are calculated by reservation stay date, not the date the payment of the fee was collected/paid (issue for accounting) 3) Inability for users to send or upload photos via website 4) Guest Report pulls by reservation stay date without the option to generate by reservation made date (for marketing purposes would like to see whom made reservations within a specific date range) 5) Lack of reporting coverage in regard to reservations by online sources 6) Web-builder portion of the management tool, was implemented poorly without supervision from ResNexus, though did complete satisfactory.

We love that this system is integrated with the OTAs and that our calendar works with them as well as the ease of the booking engine.

Feature-rich and great customer service, but a lot of bugs

2021-09-04

I am a small vacation rental owner with contractors that support multiple accounts (housekeepers for instance) who will not do that, so I end up sending out texts and e-mails instead.

Pros

(1) ResNexus is a one-stop, feature-rich software service allowing every nuance of your operations to be mirrored and more importantly maintained. (2) The user interface for bookings and availability is heavily customizable and integrates to my existing web site. (3) It supports a simple "online store" so I can sell logo products like t-shirts and guest services. (4) It supports the sale of gift certificates and manages remaining balance when redeemed. (5) great rate and management. (6) Great printable reports. (7) It allows me to manage a file of previous guests with their information (interests, birthdays, etc). (8) The customer service is their best quality, with assignment of a representative in addition to regular customer service. (9) One aspect of Resnexus where it is way above its competitors is adherence to data and system security best practices, as well as adhering to the latest US website design requirements, such as handicap usability for instance.

Cons

(1) It takes a big investment of time to learn how to set up, navigate and use Resnexus and it is not intuitive with sparse online help. (2) Housekeeping operations require your staff to log into the application to use it properly, making it more usable for companies with dedicated staff rather than the small vacation rental owner like myself that uses contractors with multiple accounts. (3) The application is not intuitive and work flow processes are too complex for the simple processes required for my business...so complex I am concerned of modifying direct bookings incorrectly there are so many options. (4) There is strong marketing and guest loyalty functionality, but it requires obtaining guest emails...since a lot of my bookings are via Airbnb who does not give out guest emails I cannot use many of the marketing and promo functions available. (5) The photo library is in multiple places and for channel mgr integration does not allow switching the order of photos showing up on Airbnb...you have to delete all of them and re-upload them to change the order. (6) Lastly, I've experienced a lot of bugs in production.

Since July 2015, I've found a vast improvement of product and customer service in Reservation Nexus. The GDS connection contract via Innlink was extremely frustrating for me when an issue needed to be resolved quickly and accurately in the past.

Software versatility, for the most part the back office is easy to naviagate allowing our business to expand its offerings to customers in ways in which our former channel manager's system lacked.

Cons

Slightly complex as referenced to our original software, there is a learning curve associated with the new channel management software; but customer service is very helpful and quick to respond to questions.

Extremely happy with our decision to use Resnexus as our property management team

I have seen it in our sales and our guests' improved experience both booking online and while on our property.

Pros

The software is pretty straightforward and has a ton of functionality that my past software provider did not offer....I really love the ability to manage my inventory showing to third party sites, the rate I show to these third party sites versus my rates on my own site, as well as, my room room availability is seem-less between Resnexus & those third party sites (Booking & Airbnb).

Cons

Some of the templates can be tricky to work with but customer support helps and will do what you ask, if you have patience...which I sorely lack. In that regard they will take the time to show me how to work with the code/website/etc and take as much time as I need. So really not a con...

Teaching new reservations agents how to use the system is also very simple as the system itself is incredibly user-friendly.

Pros

Integration with MyAllocator allows auto-population from OTAs - we don't have to worry about constantly adjusting availability anymore.

Cons

This is something that you have to add a retail item in for. Customizable email confirmations can still use a little work.

Awesome product for small inn

Love my experience with ResNexus. I like how developers are always working to tweak the product and fine tune it. I have referred you to all that I know and convinced most of the b&b's in Galveston, TX to go with you when Eviivo purchased a product we all used then.

Pros

I like the way the booking engine looks and the ability to customize it.

Cons

More options with third party integration would be appreciated, as well, i.e. accounting integration with Quicken and credit card processing with Square.

Since July 2015, I've found a vast improvement of product and customer service in Reservation Nexus. Now, I'm no longer on the GDS system, rather I have direct connections with the OTA's through Reservation Nexus Though this is not a perfect system as nothing is, it's far improved and the savings are huge which I sincerely appreciate! It is really surprising that more accommodation establishments are not using ReNexus, the benefits and time savings gained from using an error free and reliable reservation system are significant.

Pros

ResNexus is a stable and thorough platform for our reservations, with a good balance of the functionality and detail needed to monitor and process the day-to-day booking and payment processes.

We are running the basic version of ResNexus, which understandably does not have certain of the higher level functionalities.

Pros

It provides a very professional look and syncs via their channel manager to work seamlessly with all the big external online booking sites.

Cons

Initially the marketing feature offered that handles the promotion/newsletters is somewhat complicated for the average user.
