Great Option for reservation software solutions

In our previous system that only offered a guest to reserve through our web site it cost $200 per year. Credit card process was separate and was one of the cheapest providers.

Pros

Resnexus has almost everything needed for my reservation requirements.

Cons

If Resnexus could fix this issue, the monthly fees would be covered in Friday night bookings

Excellent Choice for small Hotel, RV Park or B&B

Overall experience over the last 6 years has been excellent. I value their customer support and website team. I especially enjoy the training academy that they put on every year where many innkeepers can meet, network, learn and give feedback for the continuous improvement of this software. In particular, I love that Resnexus listens.

Teaching new reservations agents how to use the system is also very simple as the system itself is incredibly user-friendly.

Pros

Very user friendly It has helped us increase retail item and activities sales thanks to the add on pages on the booking engine that inspire impulse buys.

Cons

Cancellation fees don't auto-adjust depending on your property's cancellation policy. This is something that you have to add a retail item in for. Customizable email confirmations can still use a little work.

Since July 2015, I've found a vast improvement of product and customer service in Reservation Nexus. The GDS connection contract via Innlink was extremely frustrating for me when an issue needed to be resolved quickly and accurately in the past. Now, I'm no longer on the GDS system, rather I have direct connections with the OTA's through Reservation Nexus Though this is not a perfect system as nothing is, it's far improved and the savings are huge which I sincerely appreciate! I must give accolades to Reservation Nexus for these improvements. I sincerely appreciate Reservation Nexus' commitment and desire to work with me a small 19 room b&b as well as listen to my needs.

Pulling us out of the dark ages!

Since joining ResNexus our business has grown, stress has decreased and the phone rings less but we're getting more business than ever due to online bookings!

Ease of use for us and the ease of booking for clients.

Cons

It would be nice to be able to look up clients by retail items. We run a B&B & climbing school. It would be nice to be able to see who was climbing with us every day/week based on that. A email builder like the one for the website would be nice. We always need help because we don't know HTML.

My BIG complaint has they had a software glitch that caused a customer to "sneak in" and book a two-night stay for our most expensive room on the busiest weekend of the year when we have a 3-night minimum.

Pros

Many features that match the way in which we do bookings (e.g. you can set individual prices for rooms, extra persons, retail items, special event dates etc.)

Cons

Worst problem: they are a bunch of cheapskates, and their rates are expensive compared to other vendors of reservation software.

Able to maintain accurate scheduling of reservations which in turn prevents double booking.

Ease of use. Company responded to user concerns and added new features which shortens the time of each entry. Lowered rather increased monthly service fees.
