For Team leads, managers, and executives who are usually very busy people 15Five is a good tool for gaining employee insight.

Pros

The slack integration. High Fives given are posted to a Slack channel for the whole team to see.

Cons

I think it is a very inhuman touch to management, but I understand that it is useful for team leaders that tend to be very busy, and don't always have bandwidth to have these types of conversations during work time.

It is the most meaningful performance management software I have ever used.

Pros

I like that 15Five is focused on frequent, easy, meaningful check ins between manager and team members rather than annual performance reviews.

Cons

Also, I would like to be able to have control over which High Fives show on the public feed (sometimes High Fives mention sensitive employee situations that you wouldn't want to include on the public feed).

Total awareness of what my entire team is up to.

Pros

Employees are reluctant to fill in "performance reviews" or "TPS reports", but 15Five is designed to be quick and easy.

Cons

Although I don't know how they would improve it, the mobile experience might be the area where 15Five needs the most work.

Its very easy for the management to get to understand how the employees are doing and also it help employees pass suggestions and ideas.

Cons

Changing of Questions are not quite easy. This makes it difficult for the reviewers to get different insights tailored to make the organization better.

When somebody is not performing, we need not wait for a quarter or a half year or a year to find that the employee is not performing and to arrive at a conclusion that he/she require improvement. Real time feedback is what we require to improve the performance of any employee. 15 Five is really helpful to solve this problem and recommend for any organisation with a will to keep their people happy, productive, stay relevant in their business.

Cons

Nothing much, May be pricing would be a concern for some emerging economies like India Other language support also can be a concern

Pros

This system provides a structure for routine weekly communication with team members, which is great with a remote team. and the "Questions" bank is a great idea.

Cons

I would like to be able to use it to structure communications with fellow employees who are not direct reports, nor are they my reviewer.

Helps with tracking communication, follow through and trends for both individuals and across teams.

Cons

Struggle with adding unrelated feedback (manager to employee). If the employee fails to cover a certain item or there's something new to introduce, it would be great to be able to capture it in 15five (as a way to keep record of communication).

Pretty great experience so far

Platform to showcase the work done and milestones achieved by me. It is always said that "Actions speak louder than words", but sometimes you need to deliver what you "ACTIONED" and 15Five gives that opportunity to me.

Pros

It acts as a bridge between the employees, management and HR while each one needs to review their performances.

Cons

Just one thing that it is weekly. It should have been bi-weekly or monthly so that there is much stuff to mention.

improved leadership within the departments keeps track of employee progress, This tool helps our company to better motivate our employees so they can be more focused on their work.

Pros

Provides cross communication between departments and projects, I like that they have incorporated social media-like attributes (i.e. tagging people, liking comments). This tool allows you to customize the questions you want to ask.

Cons

I haven't found anything that I dislike about this tool as of yet, it is simple, clear and it does what we need it to do.

Streamlined performance review process and rapid feedback.

Cons

custom questions are not as easy as I would like, as I prefer to change the options for 15Five reviews. Integration with 1-on-1 reports could be a bit better

Easy to use . . . We can go on fifteen five every other week and give high fives to our co-workers and also give recognition for their hard work and those who go above and beyond.

We could do this via email or google docs but that means a lot of operational work to maintain docs and data and no clean way of providing two feedback or conversations. 15Five takes away all the headache and through a wonderful product delivers a simple and effective way to stay in touch with your team's pulse and culture and really act on great thoughts, conversations, feedback.

Would love for it to build OKRs management as well along with performance reviews mechanisms.
