ADP Workforce Now vs Instant Pay Comparison

Full access to scheduling and payroll on my personal device. Immediate access to tax documents. It's like having access to HR and payroll without having to interface with an administrator or wait for a response to a simple query. Bookmarking frequently used sections is a godsend.

Software can sometimes lag or become entirely unresponsive.

Nice way to track your pay for every pay period.

Expensive and not very user friendly to set up and deploy.

Easy viewing of hours and pay. W2 and pay stub available

No more pay stubs and I'm easily able to access paycheck, vacation pay, etc.

Nothing that I can think of. Everything is great!

The ability to have instant access to view and download payroll information online.

The inability to perform data analytics on the payroll information through time.

The ability to review your pay progress or pay stub on a mobile platform is easy!

If it has this feature I don’t know how to use it, but setting up alerts would be great.

I like the fact it helps me keep up with my pay stubs && my gross pay

Sometimes it won’t let me get in and I have to go to browser just to use it

As an employee, it allows me to "sign in" for my shifts from any computer or my cell phone. I have instant access to my schedule, pay stubs, and tax forms. No longer have to keep paper files of old payroll slips. Everything is saved for the future in one paperless place! Our company policy manual is saved on the ADP website for easy access.

Only "con" is that my employer hasn't yet made use of all the features that ADP has to offer (ie. booking time off).

I like ADP's functionality with regards to pay-stubs. It's helpful that ADP gives a visual on gross-pay versus net pay for each pay cycle's check. This is especially helpful for user's who are leveraging this tool to plan their weekly, monthly, or yearly personal budgets.

I find the software can be a bit rudimentary in terms of the user-interface. Sometimes the buttons for certain functions aren't very intuitive. I think ADP can do a better job of streamlining and making the menu bar more user-friendly.

This software is great. For both the employers and employees. Allows easy to use reference for checking your entered time.

An instant verification of time would be great. One that allows a clock in and clock out option via an app like other programs use.

I like how I could access my tax documents, pay stubs and get a breakdown of my pay.

Having to reset your password can be aggravating.

I like how simple, reliable, and easy it is to use ADP. After an initial meeting with a sales rep, I haven't had to really bother them for anything over the past year and it's all just handled easily.

I don't like some of the pay options around the holidays, or at least the lack of notification that holiday pay needs to be inputted well before the actual holiday

I LIKE HOW IT STREAM LINES THE PROCESS OF PAYROLL. ITS NICE TO NOT HAVE TO FIGURE OUT OVERTIME, DEDUCTIONS, AND TAXES.

IF YOU DON'T BOOKMARK THE LOGIN PAGE IT CAN BE HARD TO FIND EVEN WITH GOOGLE. THE FEES ARE A LITTLE ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE.

This program is great for tracking employees and allowing them to track their pay, PTO, and pay check history.

I have not had any negative experiences with this program or company. It’s always worked for what I needed to do.

Easy to record my hours, view my leave, pay, and benefits. Has so far always processed my pay correctly.

The updates sometimes move things around in a strange way. But I have no real complaints with this software.

I can now have everyone record time accurately and can pay the correct pay rates with no risk for error

The only con about using the software is that I don't have a dedicated rep that I can email with any issues I may be having. Need to email in to a general address and sometimes it takes a while to get back to me.

It's nice to have one place to go for everything regarding pay. From pay stubs to taxes to 401k.

The UI and application doesn't always have a consistent feel across all its functions.

I like that it gives you instant access to your paystubs and even your W2’s.

I dislike that it isles out once you haven’t used it for so long.

I loved how user friendly the software is.

I don't have cons for this software. It's always been a reliable source.

Pay stubs are all nicely in boxes and easily printed from the program 1 step pay roll and makes everything easier

Comprehensive, precise, flexible, has multiple integrations.

A lot of requirements regarding consistent payrolls, and other rules and pressure a business into taking steps that are not always necessary. Not cheap.

Fairly easy to use, very intuitive navigation to things like pay stubs, PTO and any other accruals for each pay period

payroll calendar was easy to find, but I would die if there was an exportable payroll calendar for google calendars or a .ics so I could integrate paydays into my calendar.

Can easily access pay documents and time card. It is set up professionally for employees to be able to get pay info.

Nothing really, just maybe the ability to link directly to 401k documents/website.

It's a great tool to use to check each paycheck as well as a resource to get things specific to HR policies and so on. Keeps track of all the tax i pay as well as deductions and retirement contributions and all in a way that is easy to use as well as understand.

Sometimes navigating can be a little tough and can get lost within all the options built in as it is a little overwhelming.
