 customer service was required

just don't like it. the required fields especially. Customer Service Agent was good but program hard to get around if it doesn't work per the link used by HR. LIke this needing 150 characters, why would that be required?

Excellent Recruiting Tool @ a Great Value Price

Structured to be easy to manage applicants/candidates. Our hiring managers find it very simple to administer and reporting is simple. It is a great value at a low/reasonable price. We were up and running within a day or so; no need for weeks of customization/development. Great product!

Pros

easy to use - incorporates the basics of an applicant tracking system - no more, no less. Perfect for the mid-sized company like us who averages about 20-25 open positions per month.

Cons

would love to see it integrate with Outlook or another interview scheduling/calendaring program.

Easiest way to get great candidates and fast!

We were having trouble getting qualified candidates for Retail associates at our stores till we found Applicant Pro. Now all we have to do when we are looking for a new hire is go to their one stop shop website and enter the job we are looking to fill and they take care of posting around the web and we get to sit back and review the qualified applicants that come in. It has made the daunting task of gathering and reviewing applicants a breeze. Their website is a one stop shop for the much of the hiring process at an extremely affordable price for a small business like ours! Can't say enough positive thing about the website and their customer support!

Makes our life so much easier!

I have used Applicant Pro for a few years now, and just recently it was one of the first things I added when I started my new job last year. I love the way everything is in one place. I can easily put our open position on-line, and it feeds out to the list of free job boards. I can also choose to send out to fee-based job boards with one click. All my managers can see the applicants, and all applicants are saved into the database. And the reporting (which I used for the first time last year) for Affirmative Action cuts down on hours of my time. I am a one -person department within a small bank. I do it all - and this makes my recruiting function so much simpler, faster and streamlined. With one click, I can also send the job to our state DOL, as well as our Veterans and People with Disabilities reps. Anyone who has the authority to see an applicant can make notes directly on that applicant, and rate the applicant for future. We have one position that turns over frequently (Teller) just because we have so many - and we can go right back to our notes on-line for those candidates who impressed us who we did not hire. In short, it's one of the best tools I've used in my HR career.

Pros

Ease of use, affordable, ability to save candidates information. Ability for other managers to use the data base directly, one click to send job out to multiple areas.

Cons

I find some recent changes very confusing - I think it was easier to use previously and I find myself getting a little lost.

Go back to the way it was before recent changes. I like the old fashioned cut and past of a job onto the data base. Also, when setting up users, it is confusing how the screens come up. It should just automatically come up to either the jobs or the candidates instead of having to set it up to do so.

Applicant Pro: The Present& Future of Hiring or Not

I am thoroughly enjoying Applicant Pro thus far. I have been able to find a better quality of potential employees from which to choose and have been able to add 2 very promising people to my team as result I feel of my companies investment in Applicant Pro. The way a person is graded and assessed allows for the interview process to be more detailed as a manager responsible for hiring effective people to make sure I ask questions that allow me to make a smarter decision about who I add to my team.

Great product at an affordable rate

We are very happy with Applicant Pro at our company. We have tried several ways to accept applications online without any major cost increase. The solutions we came up with were either difficult for the applicant to use, or didnt work with our hiring process. Switching to Applicant Pro allowed us to accept user friendly applications as well as work with our hiring process. Applicant Pro was also one of the more cost effective solutions that I researched. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone who needs a digital hiring solution.

Great choice for those who want great customer service on a budget

It's often true that you get what you pay for, but in the case of Applicant Pro, you get a great deal for a great price. Their customer service is second to none. I recently wanted to change the structure of our job requisition, which required help from their service team. They did the changes within 24 hours and also gave some great advice. Another big win for Applicant Pro!

Pros

It fits our needs. It's very user-friendly. We make anywhere between 75 and 100 hires per year and it suits both my needs on the recruiting side and also the needs of the hiring managers who use it.

Cons

I sometimes wish there was more that I could do as an administrator - the ability to modify the requisition myself would've been nice, but Applicant Pro's customer team did it so quickly that it's not an issue. I also really wish there was a way to mask applicant names to the hiring managers. We live in a small place and while we do our best to ensure non-discriminatory hiring, it's really difficult when everyone knows someone who knows someone.

If you are hiring, this is the tool you need in your toolbelt!

Whether you are owner or HR Manager, this tool makes managing applicants easy as an easy-bake-oven. I have it setup with qualifying questions; the place to hold all the applicant info, customization to your hiring process; work ethic and cognitive aptitude testing really gives you a good feel for that applicant. Then you can schedule any drug screening, etc. This is a great one stop shop for me as a business owner. Highly recommend this!

ApplicantPRO Works!
