Pros

My overall experience has been wonderful. Knowing that all of the employee taxes and W-2s are taken care of and are being done on time is the best feeling and it's all worth every penny.
Additionally, the employees of APS are fantastic to work with. The people of the company are the real gem that sets APS apart from the others.
I liked that I had Payroll, benefits, reviews etc. all in one place and accessible to multiple people for ease of completion and reduced time and paperwork.

Pros

Cons

Unfortunately, in my field, the hand scanning sensor gets dirty and isn't able to be cleaned easily. Also, we have wi-fi issues so the computers/tablets can be a struggle.
Record keeping within this module can be difficult to track, specifically when changes to employee wage, details, etc. are made. Other than that, I have found very few flaws to exist in this program.
This software really has no negative complains from me.

Easy to work with

Overall extremely happy and will continue to use

Pros

They system is very easy to work with and pretty self explanatory. If you ever have any problems you can call or message customer service and they get it fixed right away.

Cons

you sometimes have to refresh to continue to submit payroll

APS is great!

We moved our business from another company to APS and have found APS to have superior customer service and ease of use. They treat our business as a priority. We truly appreciate it!

Pros

The ease of use, ability to edit and the multiple checks that are there to stop mistakes from happening before submitting a payroll.

Cons

The fact that the refresh button is the only way to guarantee a change has been made.

APS is the only way to process payroll

The system is user-friendly and easy to understand.

I don't like that on some days, I have to constantly refresh the system as it locks up.

payroll & payroll tax solution

Pros

ease of use - Payroll entered and processed correctly in under 5 minutes. Reports are easy to generate. Customer support is very responsive - even sending personal reminders.

Cons

It's a great platform as is; however, website can be refreshed a bit. More intuitive workflow patterns can also help.

APS was recommended to me from another company, I was a little skeptical to try it, but I am very glad we did. We have had great customer service from day one! The program was easy to learn.

Pros

The ability to adapt to our specific time needs. Also the ability to have multiple users according to specific pay groups. Reporting is also very user friendly.

Cons

The only con we have is remembering to refresh the screen often. Printing some reports are also a little difficult with Windows 10, but it seems they are always working on trying to improve the printing.

pull reports easily and our employee tracking has increased

We are able to pull reports easily and our employee tracking has increased and is much quicker now.

Pros

Pretty easy to navigate, help tools and online support is good.

Cons

Onboarding is slowed down by having to completely refresh an employee to add 2nd and 3 layer data. We onboard heavily over 3 months, so that time delay is significant. WE are westcoast and the support team are east coast, so not much effective support after 3pm really. Online file feeds to healthcare providers takes a VERY long time set up.
