I am an end user, not an Admin or decision maker. Our company uses this to reward employees for work above and beyond the call of duty. It's really cool when I get Amazon gift cards for that!
I like that I can redeem my points for gift cards or merchandise using Amazon. Pretty much anything that's available for purchase on Amazon can be ordered through Awardco.
It's not as easy to find items as it should be. You sometimes have to visit Amazon to find the exact spelling of the item in order to locate it in Awardco. The search limits to only so many (50 at last check) results, although this may have changed recently.

Utilizing Awardco in our agency has been a real game changer. I have seen a measurable difference in the culture of my colleagues. I highly recommend it all companies.
The ability to recognize staff, as well as an affordable opportunity to gift them with something meaningful to them personally, has really helped the overall culture and affect of the colleagues.
Occasionally there are hiccups in redeeming the e-cards.

So far, so good... Sure, there's been times of frustration (that comes with getting familiar with the platform and processes). I'm still learning today, but I'm confident that whatever issue(s) arise, there'll be a solution. I know I can count on getting the assistance that I need either from Customer Service or Account Manager.
I like that it's user-friendly, which makes it easy to navigate through. Customer Service/Support is also great and our Account Rep/Manager is awesome!
Growing Pains- just the usual getting the hang of learning something new and putting it into practice.

Love it! I have recommended it to many friends and family members who work at other organizations.
I love how Awardco promotes the habit of appreciating members of our team. The points are nice and the extrinsic rewards that go with them, but it is the note that accompanies the points that creates so much goodwill.
The Amazon search feature isn't nearly as user-friendly as the actual Amazon site, and you are unable to read user reviews for the products. In order to use this feature, I first go to the actual Amazon site to find what I'm looking for and read up on it, and then I use the Awardco search tool to type in key words. Then I have to comb through the results to find the correct item and color.

I have enjoyed my Awardco experience, and I like that e-cards are immediately sent via email.
One of the features I enjoy is that the awards don't expire, so I can let them accumulate to get a higher reward option. I love the ability to see everything that I need to make a decision -- how many points I have left, how much an award cost, etc. I like that I am notified when co-workers get recognition also.
Integrating was seamless, I don't have any dislikes at this time.

I love it!
I like that the points can be converted into a variety of gift cards. You can purchase gifts on Amazon, or book a hotel. You can even buy concert tickets with your points!
I wish I could combine my points with my spouses points (we work at the same company) so we could purchase larger items.

I enjoy the engagement and understand how critical this is to employee and business culture and retention. I have always enjoyed shopping and spending my points when I earn them an always receive wonderful items with very fast delivery.
Ease of use, Email Notification in Addition to Shared Posted Verbiage, Tie-In Ability to earn Points to Spend at Amazon, Ease of Ability to Add Comments and Emojis to other Shout Outs.
I cannot find lists of fellow co-workers Anniversaries and Birthdays for those who have opted in to share this info. I was able to use this feature on 2 prior platforms similar to this. Also the Emojis added do not give any details about who gave them. I do not know if this is on purpose but if the idea is to be similar to a "Like" function, those indicate who gave them.

ease of implementation - once the right key internal decision makers are identified and were a part of the project team to make those look and feel decisions, the kick-off to sandbox, to testing, to Prod/Live was seamless
Amazon shopping interface with the redemption of points, makes for a very rich and trendy service award UX

With employees spread further apart than ever due to remote work, Awardco has helped bridge some of the issues that occurred by a providing them a platform to engage and recognize each other.
Integration was an easy process. The ability to have multiple programs is great so that you can offer a variety of ways for employees to interact. The product is easy to use from an admin’s perspective as well as an end user. The options for awards is ever growing and there is literally something for everyone. The ability to offer charities is a huge plus since it allows employees to feel like they are making a difference. Another option that is great is the ability to have local businesses offered as rewards. A lot of employees like to help build their communities and this is a great way.
Being able to see approvals and denials as the leader would be nice. The ability to look back and review is always helpful. The reporting functionality had gotten more robust but there are still a few abilities that would be nice.

Let's be real - leaders are busy and don't have time to jump through a lot of hoops to implement recognition programs. We had been talking about setting up a little 'company store' with some random gift items that the HR person was going to have to go out and purchase - then administer some sort of in-house "Bonus Bucks" or some such thing. But we were dreading the time and effort it was going to...
I really like that this software makes it really easy to recognize someone in a tangible way. Plus the fact that they can spend their 'points' on whatever they would like on Amazon is a huge win. Who really needs another company coffee mug or pen or whatever? I would much rather they be able to choose something they really like or need, maybe something they wouldn't ordinarily purchase for themselves. This makes it much more fun for the employee!
I wish it was easier to find what you want on the Awarco/Amazon search. Sometimes I would find the item I wanted but not all the colors were available. (for example, I found the specific water bottle/flask I had been wanting to get, but it was only available to me in navy - when there were maybe a dozen color options available on the Amazon website)

Awardco enabled us to combine birthday, anniversary, non-monetary, and monetary recognition in one package - with reports available and excellent rewards options for employees! The implementation of Awardco was the easiest our HR team has ever experienced. It's a product that makes management, administrators, and employees happy! That's rare!!
Extremely easy to use, integration with Outlook for notifications, easy to customize and always modern customization options, responsive support, similar in many ways to social media platforms with which employees are already familiar, excellent points redemption options (Amazon integration)
Funding budgets is not as straightforward as the rest of the platform

We love the ease of using Awardco! The customer service and representatives that they have working for Awardco are stellar, they are always making recommendations to us on how we can better reward our teams. We use Awardco for a multitude of things from recognizing anniversaries, recognition programs, employee referral programs, and so much more!
As we grow with more and more people our bills get higher with the usage of employee engagement and spending! It pays to recognize, literally!

Our new Awardco system is an amazing asset! The new system is very quick and easy to use to recognize our company's corporate employees. It takes much less time to utilize the new system than it did to submit recognition under the old platform. You can also submit recognition for multiple employees at the same time for team members collaborating on a project together. The Awardco feed is a dynamic...
I love the ease of use of the system and how quickly a nomination can occur for employees and supervisors.
The hardest part about the new platform is only deciding what item or items to spend any earned ENCORE points on. The options are limitless!

The problem solved with awardco would have to be without a doubt the need to give immediate recognition for daily tasks that a basic thank you won’t suffice. And waiting for a small bonus on your paycheck won’t be worth it either.
The best part of awardco is the sense of accomplishment you can derive from the receiving of points. As well as the feeling of creating that feeling for others wether you are a team member nominating another or a supervisor recognizing a team member.
As of yet there have been no cons unless maybe the seamless interface with a companies account management software. Although that is mostly the operator error type of thing.

Very happy with this Software - a positivity booster like this is a fantastic asset in a Team Based company like ours!
I love the way this is a tool purely for the use of positivity and building people up. Both Teammates and those in Leadership have the opportunity to recognize Outstanding moments as well as those that are Quietly Consistent. Anytime an AWARDCO Email pops up, you are instantly happy to check it!
I only wish that there were more points allowed for team mates to give to others. Maybe instead minimizing the total points we are able to give, we maybe just have limits on how OFTEN we can give points to INDIVIDUALS. For example: Currently if I wanted to thank about 8 people on my team with the 5point gift option, I would not be able to because I don't have enough points. But Ideally, I could thank each one of them with the 5point option but would have to wait an allotted amount of time before any of them were eligible to be thanked with that option again.

As an administrator it is nice to run reports and see people getting recognized for doing above and beyond things. It doesn't always have to be in their specific job but sometimes those good acts that are done on a normal basis gets recognized and that inspires/ motivates our employees.
I love that everyone in the company has a say and its a great way to recognize your peers. It is an added bonus that a dollar value is attached to managers who can issue points. I love the giftcard feature.
There have been a few times staff members redeem a giftcard and the URL doesn't work or they do not receive it for some reason. But our rep usually resolves the problem within a day.

I love it truly and would be disturbed if they removed this. As a team lead, It really helps recognition and reinforcement in ways no other message, conversation, note, report could.
The informed self-service nature of Awardco is perfectly suited for high performing companies. The fact that employees are given the ability to reward and recognize each other, with preset limits, is truly a great way to foster corporate culture!When awards are given, they are not just blind, but given in the context of the cornerstone company values. Not just "hey you're great" but "here's why you're great and how you support our company values".
Perhaps the ability to transfer remaining award allocation to a colleague / subordinate who would like to recognize more colleagues themselves.

ive never had a problem. Sometimes ill buy a product and after it arrives i realize the description was not exactly correct, and ive called the awardco company and customer support was so easy to work with. In fact i could take my return item to a wholefoods to send it back
i have earned everything from apple watches, ipads, appple ear buds, water proof speakers and even visa gift cards all because my company chooses to give us (its employees) chances to win bravo bucks. a bravo buck is the equivalent of $1 and when you earn hundreds of bravo bucks you can buy some amazing gifts for your self or your loved ones. its also come in handy around Christmas time as I have used the money i earned just for being a great employee to buy some expensive gifts for my friends and family and of course myself!
the catalog of items is somewhat limited, but there is almost at least 1 option for whatever you could ever want

I have enjoyed using Rewardco over the past few years. It helps me to do what is needed to get the points. And I have always be able to find what I want to spend it on from the choices offered by Rewardco. This is a great way for the company to provide the employees with a monthly bonus program.
This is the only bonus that I have received that is a one for one bonus. Before Awardco we would get $30 for exercising during the month. Taxes were cut from that $30 which would cost us almost 1/2 of it. But with Rewardco we get 40 points. That is not reduced so we get $40 to spend however we wish to spend it. Who would ever complain about that.
I cannot think of 1 thing that I do not like about Rewardco.

I've had a great experience with Awardco so far. It's primarily easy to use and it really helps when you know what product you're looking for.
The software is very user friendly and it's also easy to select the product you want and add it to the cart.
If you don't know what you're looking for, it can become a challenge to search the product you want to add to your cart.

I love our Work Anniversaries are noted and celebrated through this automatic system. No one is left out and everyone can see the longevity we have across all departments.
This is such an easy way to send out that Atta-Boy to whomever is a star for you. So simple to use and even great for sending a thank you message to multiple people at one time.
When doing a recognition that involves awarding points, I would like to see how many points I still have available to give before I write the entire review....
