I have used both Blackboard and Moodle in the past, and I found them very similar for what they offered. I would have been fine using Blackboard indefinitely had I not found out about Canvas, which is what we are using now and I am absolutely it's biggest fan!
I used Blackboard for almost 10 years, and it was a decent LMS for my needs. When Blackboard Collaborate came out, it was even better because it added a new layer of possibilities (I could have several webinar/conversations going, merge conversations, and/or present to different groups at one time). However, there were always bugs in the system, even though we updated constantly. The Blackboard app was also very limited.
Too many bugs and freezes; many of my students had issues with accessing links when they used different internet browsers. Good for a small school or business, but not larger ones.

It's somewhat easy to use for teachers, for the students it's set up in an easy to follow way.
Its interface allows the students to see all the content easily and you can keep track of who's been left behind.
Blackboard Collaborate is terrible, it kicks out students who have a bad internet connection and it takes up tons of RAM. We used it at the beginning of the pandemic for synchronous lectures and it was a nightmare.

Blackboard
It is a good way to post class homework and see grades.
It has a lot of unnecessary features that clutter the program and make it difficult to find things.

Blackboard
This product gives teachers the ability to interact with students outside of class and provide additional materials which are readily available throughout the semester.
The menus are not the most user friendly, and sometimes it takes too many clicks to find the page which I am trying to get to.

Blackboard Revgiew
Like the ability to do classes online. It is much more time efficient than in-person classes when facilitated by a competent professor.
Cumbersome at times. It can be slow, although that might have nothing to do with BBL.

It's been a wonderful experience with Blackboard, i love how other applications integrate so well with Blackboard.
I love the features of the built-in web based tools, gives access to multiple methods of communication, gives access for easy customisation of course pages.
The discussion threads I'd suggest needs to be looked into, it gets quite difficult trying to navigate between replying to the current thread or an older one.

Various options available, flexibility of use, good tools for organization.

Review of Blackboard Learn
It was easy to use and made accessible by web ports that the University offered.
The product was never the problem--the content was written in a way that made the courses sometimes difficult to follow or absorb quickly.

Blackboard learn integrates really well with the existing Blackboard software. This would be the reason I would take a look at this.
This product along with many other Blackboard products are very expensive not only to purchase but to run on a day to day basis.

Blackboard is a great tool for school use. It allows you to stay organized and ahead of schedule. It is also a great way to stay in communication with professors and classmates to ask for help.
Blackboard was a great tool that I used when I was a student in order to keep in contact with my professor and classmates. It also allowed me to view assignment, past and upcoming. It helped me stay organized and on time with all of my assignments.
Not a con towards Blackboard, the school I was attending just switched from Blackboard to Canvas. At this time, I don't dislike anything about Blackboard.

My overall experience with blackboard collaborate is positive as I’ve used the system to learn new job experiences resulting in increased success.
What I like most about blackboard collaborate is the ability to connect a group of individuals located virtually anywhere in an online classroom setting.
what I like least about blackboard collaborate is the stability of the environment when large groups of people are connected. The system tends to boot people and/or results in a lot of lagging.

Overall I don't think I would use it again. I prefer Zoom.
I like that it is integrated into Blackboard, that you can use it with those that don't have BlackBoard and that the recordings are saved to Blackboard
You can't view all participants at once and the video quality is low. And it doesn't always work.

Overall my experience has been nothing but positive. As a grad student as well as a Teachers's Assistant, Blackboard Collaborate has been truly amazing, and more people should considering engaging with tall the possibilities the software has to offer.
Blackboard Collaborate was a lifesaver for our school. While many teachers opted to use zoom for class meetings, we however were able to utilize Collaborate as part of or program. With minimal training and several tools for the teachers to use, Collaborate made the Covid semesters a breeze for our university. Students were able to easily log in and ask questions and listen to lectures with high-quality video and audio. Slides/Video/Documents were easily added to Collaborate for lectures and reviews. Not only were quarantine students able to utilize this software. Students who were able to join in class could follow along and communicate witht their peers as well.
The only downside is that blackboard is indeed a blackboard. Perhaps a more colorful layout could make the software more friendly.

We loved all of the features and just about everything about Blackboard. I think the best things were the integrations it has with other grading softwares.
The price is really the only bad thing about Blackboard. If you can afford it then you should be using Blackboard.

Blackboard is easy to use for students and professor, it's nice to have all of our classes and information located on one platform.
Our school sometimes shuts down Blackboard or has an outage, I'm not sure if this is the fault of FSU or Blackboard

It benefits me a lot also my learners.
I like in Blackboard collaborate is very easy to set up learning platform and compatible to my computer also to students who i teach. It also has a good outcomes to all my learners.
Using blackboard collaborate is not easy as you think it more complex thats why students or learners need to learn first how to use it properly before proceeding to academics.
